Contacted the company 3 times now about my order which is 2-3 months old. 10 sets of strings. If they are out of stock I wouldn't mind just as long as I am informed on what's happening with my order and when I'm going to get them. Still I have no idea if I ever will. Due to an upcoming tour I'm going to have to buy the same amout of strings from somewhere else, spending more money out whilst I'm pretty sure I'm not getting my money back either. Back to strings direct it is for me then. Avoid, avoid, avoid!
Used them for years, but when I opened five packs of Martin strings this year the1st and 2nd all tarnished and rusted. Kept asking them for replacements, but after four phone calls have had no response. I'm giving up on them.
For many years the service was nothing short of excellent from Stringbusters. Latest order only part delivered. Received a VERY poor set of Cleartone Acoustic Strings which sound worse than the set they were replacing. Keen to know when I will receive my balance of Rotosound Electric string sets, and make complaint of substandard Cleartone's I emailed them... on 5 available email addresses and phoned them numerous times to know avail. It is obvious the are in trouble or bust.
I have reported them to Paypal... so be warned they are no longer the company they once were... nothing but crooks now, will take your money no problem.

Ordered on Monday and received by Friday. Called Sales and got through within a couple of rings. Very friendly and helpful. Got best price on the web so very happy.
UPDATE: no longer the same site, is a wordpress site about musical instruments mostly in a language I don't understand.
After several emails in which I stated my concerns over a purchase my goods finally arrived. To be fair I was also sent a lengthy apology. I sensed that things were not going well but that someone was trying to work things out. Quality of goods eventually received were excellent.
I've used Stringbusters for many years. For a long while, strings came the next day, or the day after, (at the latest). The orders were correct and the staff were professional and polite.
Well, they are still polite, but in terms of everything else, an utter disaster. My last several orders have had either wrong strings sent, or strings have been missing - (and when they are phoned, a friendly voice you want to trust, assures you he is looking at your order right now) and orders (with wrong strings anyway) take weeks to arrive.
Enough is enough. I would advise caution to any prospective customers as the behaviour has all the hallmarks of a company about to go bust.
I wish I had read these reviews before placing my order. I'm still waiting for a deliver. On their website it says awaiting dispatch. My card has been charged and I'm without strings. Not impressed and I have used this company for years.
Fourth time ordering strings from these guys. Hadn't been using them for 12 months as previous 2 occasions were a nightmare. Assumed as they were still trading they had got their act together. WRONG. 4 WEEKS AND WAITING. No answer to phone line no reply to e-mail. Guess I should have learnt my lesson. STAY AWAY.
I am still waiting to receive two sets of strings nearly a month after placing the order. The money left my account immediately but after a week of waiting I called the shop. I was told there was a fault with their system and that my strings would be posted that day. Three days later nothing. I spoke to someone else who said they were in the post. Nearly a month later still nothing and they seem to have stopped answering their phone now! No response to emails either. They still have my money and I have no way of contacting them.
DO NOT USE THESE UNTRUSTWORTHY PEOPLE
I had the experience the same as these others, I had paid by Credit Card and I raised a dispute about 4 weeks ago today I got my money refunded. Well done Nationwide.
Shocking service. Strings ordered never arrived, then my email ignored and now it is not possible to leave a message. Do not use this company

Strings brought for £39.80 7 days ago. Tried contacting to no avail. Taken up with disputes team at bank who are trying to get the money bank from Stringbusters
Used them for many years but order placed in December not fulfilled. I assume they have gone under. Going to contact my bank to try to get my money back. Stay clear.
Ordered some strings website said in stock no confirmation received I have phoned for over a week now emailed them still no reply or strings I have reported them to PayPal never use them again
I ordered 3 sets of Strings Jan 3rd, money went from my account there &then, still no strings, have phoned /emailed, nothing back, Order says 'Awaiting Processing ', just want my money back now, Yeah Right, Some Chance!

I've used them without problem in the past but something's gone wrong. They used to be good but sadly no longer.
Like other people here i have recieved the same treatment, no delivery then after actually talking to them no promised refund. As a previous reviewer said they used to be a reliable company, sadly no more, there are other more reliable suppliers out there Strings Direct and GAK. DO NOT USE STRINGBUSTERS
Order only part delivered, they don't answer e-mail or facebook messages, can never get through on the phone. 2 months since I ordered strings which still haven't arrived nor any refund. Avoid.
