Do NOT order from this company. I tried to cancel my order TWO HOURS after receiving an email that estimated ship date was 8/21 when it was estimated 8/11-16 at check out. That's bait and switch 5-10 days longer! Customer service woman Jazmin M told me it was not possible because "it was put into production" (8/9). TWELVE DAYS to make ONE blinds? Also, their sales are BOGUS. The day after I ordered, they had 30% sale but the price was ONE CENT cheaper than previous day 26% sale because they INCREASED regular price so at the end of the day, they would still pocket the same amount regardless of what "sale" is. Stay away from this fraudster.

False advertising of "Free if not shipped within 24hrs". 50hrs after my order was placed it, somehow, was still within the mystical 24hr window! Now it's 72hrs later... and still hasn't been shipped... but still is not FREE as claimed. Apparently their small print has some smoke-n-mirrors explanation of how they calculate 24hrs, which clearly is different from the rest of us just doing simple math!
Aside from a few warped slats in every blind I've bought from them, the service is okay.

I have ordered from Steve's many times. The first couple of times were not successful and I regret that I made errors in ordering before I moved into my new home. The second and third times were better.

However, two sets of blinds broke. They replaced one set no problem. The second one, customer service couldn't get their act together to get me a replacement.

Their site is very generic and leaves a lot to be desired. You want to SEE the products you're buying. With window coverings and even wallpaper, you want to see many pictures and different example's of the how the item looks in different rooms. But you do not get that with this site. If you're lucky, you see a tiny little 1.5x1.5 inch picture of the item. Not real impressive. And most of all, not helpful at all! I will not shop with Steve's ever again. Due to their lack of service when their item broke and due to their site being insufficient, I have better ways to spend my money!

I've read many reviews on Steve's which seemed to be either great or horrible... hardly any average ratings. So I hoped that all the horrible ratings were from emotionally sensitive who made everything seem worse than it really was. We'll I'm learning the hard way.

The initial order went fine. The product was backordered and actually arrived at my door the day that it was supposed to be back in stock. I didn't like the paper after speaking with the wallpaper installer and decided to return it even though I would take a loss of 30% for a restocking fee. That wasn't the issue.

The issue begins with Debra... it's very important that you remember her name because you'll want to avoid her at all costs! She must be the only person in the Returns Dept. because she answered almost every call I've made to Steve's. (Sometimes, when a customer has an issue with a rep, it's better if they're transferred to someone else. However, it seem that you will not have that option!)

She was rude, condescending, interrupted every time I spoke, and used the word "axe" in place of "ask." She was extremely unproffesional.

I do not plan to use Steve's again unless I can either avoid Debra, or unless she is completely retrained and reprimanded.
