I don't know why Staples has so many bad reviews. I cannot complain at all. Everything I ordered online from them came very fast and their products are excellent. Never had a bad experience. Customer Service was very helpful with returning an item I had ordered by mistake. I recommend Staples any time.

Purchased hp laptop. No charge at all. I called but because I don't have the original box (after 1 month). They don't want to exchange neither refund. They told me to contact HP. HP does not want to do anything but then just offer technical support! No batteries inside? Dead batteries? Stupid and effortless service. Don't but.! Awful and ridiculous service

You buy time on cards that don't let you use the full amount! So they keep YOUR monies. Then the screen keeps telling you how much time you have so you have to stop what you are doing and click the ok or it won't let you continue, which cits into your time which now costs more money. Then there's little support from the staff who treat you like you are a nuisance. Then it times you out, with monies left on your "staples card" which you can never use! Then you have to start all over, absolute rip off! Staples should be ashamed of themselves! Complete JERKS!

If I could put zero, I would do it. Tha Staples customer service not oriented on the customers at all. I could not return an item what I bought in the same day. I am totally frustrated with Staples. I can't recommend it to my friends. If you have an option to buy the item you need in the different store, do it. Staples is not existing for me and my family.

Printing department is understaffed or not knowledgeable about operations at all.
Refusing small jobs because they are busy with other orders.

I wish I could give them last than one star, horrible customer service ever. Send me a damaged product. I called them, and this is the solution after 10 days wait for receiving: call UPS and schedule a pickup time! People have a life than Wasting time on your mistake that is a shame

1) package did not arrive on time
2) tracking number for my package was wrong so it couldn't be tracked
3) Ordered a box of coffee packets, received a carpet.
4) customer service hung up on me after 20 minutes of holding

Since I need the coffee tomorrow, I. Pretty much screwed. Wish I could give them a big fat zero.

Don’t hold your breath, do yourself a favour and shop in person

Horrible service, they don't want to repair my laptop, and their items are overpriced and it took them over a month to repair my laptop and they did when I got It back they messed up the wiring for the monitor

Ordered a calculator online, staples immediately charged the credit card, sent a notice of cancellation, due to them not having the product all of sudden. Then won't refund the funds in a timely manner. It's been ten days and told to wait to receive funds back. This is a scam, me while they made interest on those funds held for ten days or more. They still have not sent my funds! Filing a complaint with BBB. Word of wisdom, don't order anything online from staples.

Tip for consumers:
Don't order from staples online. If they cancel your order, it's like pulling teeth to get your funds returned.

Ordered a printer online from Staples. Instrad of printer they sent me a table and 2 chairs. Now my $365 refund is pending for almost a week until this $70 worth of chair and tables are picked by their courier service. They already failed to come and pick it up on the time they previously scheduled with me. So not sure when that will happen, and I will get my money back. It is quite a mess indeed. Will definitely never shop online from Staples.

Avoid like COVID.

I have called 5 different Staples in the lower mainland in BC, I just needed a pricing on Printing Blueprints.
I called Customer Service to no avail.
I wanted Next day Printing, Which is Not available on line. I called and also pressed #8, Which I was told by Customer Service that I could talk to someone... Well someone picked up my call, but continued to chat with someone else then they stopped talking and I waited and waited and no one helped me.
Worst Customer Service ever. Getting my Architectural prints done somewhere else. I'd say lose me number but I think you already have.

Ordered on their website with next-day delivery, who would've known it was next-month delivery! (haven't received it yet either) customer service was unhelpful, they kept telling me i'd receive my order in the next business day. Well, it never happened. I am beyond frustrated as this was an urgent and expensive order.

Garbage service, i ask for an order cancelation literally only 15 minutes after placing the order on a Saturday night. I get a response confirming they forwarded it to the cancelation team but then they still ship the order 3 days later. They don't care about customers, they just want to take your money even if you don't get what you wanted to buy.

Ordered 2 items. Called for curbside pick up, told them i have 2 orders. Went home realized they only gave me 1. I called them again told the situation, they said I can pick it up whenever cuz I'm not available for the next 2 days! Now they've been calling me saying I only have 2 days to pick it up or else they will cancel my order! What an experience. So disappointed!

If you want to place an order with their design team for notebooks or any other custom merchandise, be prepared to wait. I specifically asked for prompt services that last 3 times I ordered and not only way my order slow to issue but this last time, it was completely ignored. I asked. Monday and it is now Saturday and I'm still waiting to take my order. I have now moved on to a new print company.

Have patience and be prepared to wait as well as to be emailing back and forth alot.

I placed two orders for school supplies, supposedly shipped next day. Over a week later and multiple messages I received 1 of 60 items. It is the day before back to school, I do not have any supplies, and I didn't budget to purchase supplies 2x. They finally issued a refund which will take 3 to 5 business days to process. Now my kids have to start school without supplies. Terrible business, terrible customer service, just all around terrible. If I could give negative stars I would. Will never shop there again and will make sure no one I know does either. Should have ordered from Amazon and would not be in this predicament.

Went in picked out printer ink went up to pay. Says I need a mask then literally jumps back like I have leprosy or the plague. I am a healthy man. So have to go to other check out designated for us lepers. Then she brings over a bottle of disinfects and rag. Where do you find these people. Perhaps an iq test would be In order. It was a head shaking experience.

I had a bad experience at 3003 Danforth Ave Staples ( pick up/releasing area). There's one rude girl employee. Don't like to purchase/pick up order anything from that location anymore.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Initial delivery was last August 3rd and the delivery guy said that there is still 1 package to be deliver, and up to now NO DELIVERY. Called the customer service twice already, still no update.

Worse customer service, don't ever order from here. They threw a brand new Apple Watch outside of my door on the ground, and signed it themselves, and they refuse to provide any solution whatsoever. STAY AWAY!

We have a business account. During the transition from Stapes to Staples Preferred, there was a mix-up and we had a balance. The balance was paid but there was a fee of $98.00. We have been trying to clear this up since last year to no avail. There has been numerous email back and forth between our accounting and Staples. Everything is clear and yet our account remains inactive and they continue to give us useless information. My new vendor is OFFICE CENTRAL which provides GREAT SERVICE.

We have to use Staples at our store to get product and they Customer Service is NO help. Each time I call to ask for help with ordering, they always suggest "clearing my cookies and history" and it never helps. I just recently ordered bankers boxes to my store, the next day our order never came - turns out it was ordered to a store which I did not ask for. I went to the store for pick-up the following day, and my order wasn't there or ever placed...
