I don't know why Staples has so many bad reviews. I cannot complain at all. Everything I ordered online from them came very fast and their products are excellent. Never had a bad experience. Customer Service was very helpful with returning an item I had ordered by mistake. I recommend Staples any time.
Purchased hp laptop. No charge at all. I called but because I don't have the original box (after 1 month). They don't want to exchange neither refund. They told me to contact HP. You buy time on cards that don't let you use the full amount! So they keep YOUR monies. Then the screen keeps telling you how much time you have so you have to stop what you are doing and click the ok or it won't let you continue, which cits into your time which now costs more money. Then there's little support from the staff who treat you like you are a nuisance. Then it times you out, with monies left on your "staples card" which you can never use! Then you have to start all over, absolute rip off! Staples should be ashamed of themselves! Complete JERKS!
If I could put zero, I would do it. Tha Staples customer service not oriented on the customers at all. I could not return an item what I bought in the same day. I am totally frustrated with Staples. I can't recommend it to my friends. If you have an option to buy the item you need in the different store, do it. Staples is not existing for me and my family.
Printing department is understaffed or not knowledgeable about operations at all.

I wish I could give them last than one star, horrible customer service ever. Send me a damaged product. I called them, and this is the solution after 10 days wait for receiving: call UPS and schedule a pickup time! People have a life than Wasting time on your mistake that is a shame

4) customer service hung up on me after 20 minutes of holding
Since I need the coffee tomorrow, I. Pretty much screwed. Wish I could give them a big fat zero.

Horrible service, they don't want to repair my laptop, and their items are overpriced and it took them over a month to repair my laptop and they did when I got It back they messed up the wiring for the monitor
Staples is so reliable and has an excellent selection on line or in store. There is always help available and they have some pretty good sales each week.
Ordered a calculator online, staples immediately charged the credit card, sent a notice of cancellation, due to them not having the product all of sudden. Then won't refund the funds in a timely manner. It's been ten days and told to wait to receive funds back. This is a scam, me while they made interest on those funds held for ten days or more. They still have not sent my funds! Filing a complaint with BBB. Word of wisdom, don't order anything online from staples.

I am not liking having to search for coupons for deals when previously I would show my teacher card and get discounts for my classroom-please return to showing our card--you have collected all our private information--this should be just done at the till. I now feel 'tracked'. At least make the coupons timely and more inclusive of our needs so we aren't running around over multiple days--eg. Please don't send a coupon for one supply like and insane-bulk buy of glue one week (this week... far more than I will use in my classroom, appropriate for multiple rooms, or we need it when we need it... making slime in April shouldn't mean a crazy bulk buy in August because of the coupon!), office chairs (not buying) the next week it could be computers or tablets (also not buying, though some might buy this for PERSONAL use, not for multiple kids), day timers (also not buying, most make their own now or get the school division provided ones), markers (buying several packages, but they don't come that way). Please consider a coupon to teachers for ANY purchases made directly for use in the classroom that runs for a chunk of time (Say AUGUST through to end of JULY--the entire school year) so we can get it done when we can and need. Rural folks don't need to increase their carbon footprint (and cost to do the job) running back and forth over multiple weeks with piece-meal couponing (or even flash sale days) wondering if the supplies will even be there by then

I contacted Staples right away and the response was- sorry we do not "fix" your pictures.
Ordered a printer online from Staples. Instrad of printer they sent me a table and 2 chairs. Now my $365 refund is pending for almost a week until this $70 worth of chair and tables are picked by their courier service. They already failed to come and pick it up on the time they previously scheduled with me. So not sure when that will happen, and I will get my money back. It is quite a mess indeed. Will definitely never shop online from Staples.

I buy a lot of things for my office at Staples. They have good selection and prices.
I have called 5 different Staples in the lower mainland in BC, I just needed a pricing on Printing Blueprints.
I called Customer Service to no avail.
I wanted Next day Printing, Which is Not available on line. I called and also pressed #8, Which I was told by Customer Service that I could talk to someone... Well someone picked up my call, but continued to chat with someone else then they stopped talking and I waited and waited and no one helped me.
Worst Customer Service ever. Getting my Architectural prints done somewhere else. I'd say lose me number but I think you already have.
Ordered on their website with next-day delivery, who would've known it was next-month delivery! (haven't received it yet either) customer service was unhelpful, they kept telling me i'd receive my order in the next business day. Well, it never happened. I am beyond frustrated as this was an urgent and expensive order.

Incompetence thrives at Staples Canada.
For years, they've lied to customers about their so called 'Tracking'.
They don't have an order tracking system. They give you a fake link & all you get is an error. Every order, every time.
Total extent of their 'tracking' is shown below.
I attempted to give them a second chance but unfortunately they were ad pathetic at customer service as I recall.
Garbage service, i ask for an order cancelation literally only 15 minutes after placing the order on a Saturday night. I get a response confirming they forwarded it to the cancelation team but then they still ship the order 3 days later. They don't care about customers, they just want to take your money even if you don't get what you wanted to buy.
Do not order here. I never got a notification that it shipped. The contact center does not respond either. Worst experience!
Ordered 2 items. Called for curbside pick up, told them i have 2 orders. Went home realized they only gave me 1. I called them again told the situation, they said I can pick it up whenever cuz I'm not available for the next 2 days! Now they've been calling me saying I only have 2 days to pick it up or else they will cancel my order! What an experience. So disappointed!

If you want to place an order with their design team for notebooks or any other custom merchandise, be prepared to wait. I specifically asked for prompt services that last 3 times I ordered and not only way my order slow to issue but this last time, it was completely ignored. I asked. Monday and it is now Saturday and I'm still waiting to take my order. I have now moved on to a new print company.

I frequently use the Staples store at Yonge and Eglinton, and the staff have always been wonderful. I went in last week to have my QR certificate laminated, and Jairo helped me. He was warm, kind, and very efficient. He made the process very easy for me. It is always a pleasure to visit this store. It is clean, well stocked and the prices are very good. However, the main reason I choose this store is the amazing staff, like Jairo. I am very grateful to Jairo, and to all the staff for their ongoing help and support.
I placed two orders for school supplies, supposedly shipped next day. Over a week later and multiple messages I received 1 of 60 items. It is the day before back to school, I do not have any supplies, and I didn't budget to purchase supplies 2x. They finally issued a refund which will take 3 to 5 business days to process. Now my kids have to start school without supplies. Terrible business, terrible customer service, just all around terrible. If I could give negative stars I would. Will never shop there again and will make sure no one I know does either. Should have ordered from Amazon and would not be in this predicament.
