The order steps are easy and quick. The overall experience is great.
I go to an interface where I click activate and then I have to hunt for the second activate without any clues to this requirement. Learning about it with a crappy name (basically click and hope), where the choices for the activation are. I had absolutely no idea about the second one, sort of learning about it after reading many hard-to-understand help articles and videos, and sending a please do this for me email. After finally knowing about and finding the second activate, I decided to start over because I wasn't confident and then had trouble finding it again - WTF (click things).
I documented my path last year, updated this year's changes (to activate twice and click things), and do not doubt it will change again next year.
Once I got the CNAME option going, everything went fine with confirmation and creation of the pfx on Namecheap. The next challenge was finding where Microsoft Azure had moved the SSL/pfx setting to, not where all the search results and my document said.

It was easy as because I am already a customer of Namecheap since some years which is a sister concern of your company. I came to know when Namecheap told me. So it was good
No problems with purchase, but took a while to validate internal domain as had to enable incoming emails through firewall to complete.
