I bought tickets for the 2016 fit expo in fort lauderdale. Because of hurricane Matthew that event got canceled. Since I bought the tickets on a squadup.com and I received a confirmation email from them that the payment went through... I thought I send them an email asking how do i get a refund on those tickets. They send me a youtube link with a video "how to reach out to the actual organization". I didn´t even know what organization it was so I asked them to provide me the contact details, an email address, phone number. Something.
They replied by referring to that stupid video they send me earlier.
They said they are not the actual host of the event they only service the payments... well terrific! I did not ask for the money i did ask for help. Nothing. What kind of service is that?! Now I have to go through the website trying to find the host of the event, what by the way is not longer on their website to be found... and when I find the host I try to watch the f*'ing video again to find out how to contact them... yes, I got time for all that BS! Thats way easier than sending me a phone number or email address...! Well, it was a nice experience. Never again! Stay away from those...!
