I ordered a pool pump based on a the description that I had delivery in two days. Well it's over a month later and no pump yet. They claim it is due to the pandemic however the item shipped from China. No product is delivered in two days from China. Should have know better than to order from a crap site like this.
I ordered a pool pump, it took forever to get here. The tracking order that they sent me lead nowhere. When it finally arrived it did not work properly. I contacted customer service, they gave me the runaround. They sent me a picture of the instructions and told me to make sure it was plugged in! They offered me a three dollar refund for my troubles. And after several emails back-and-forth I've gotten nowhere! If I could get them a zero I would!
I wish I would have found this review page prior to ordering. I ordered a pool pump and waited 6-7 weeks for it to arrive. When it got here, it didn't work. Customer service is worthless. Offered $5 or $3. Soooo frustrating
I will second this website being one of the best around for both shooting tips as well as the community. It is a great community of photographers who are all very helpful in sharing tips. Even if you are not local to the bay area, they are always available to help. I like how it is a smaller community and not overrun with spammers like on other sites.
This place is a horrible place to order from i ordered a pool from them on June 1st and i still haven't got it it got sent to me and than returned cause they never put my address on the package and when u email them u get a different person every single time and not one person really knows where your package is and if your ever going to get it! I would never recommend this place to anyone! It's just a headache and a nightmare!
Thanks Barney for this find. I was looking for some advice on a new DSLR and found exactly what I was looking for on that forum. It is nice that the forum is made up of members who really seem to know their photography. Impressive that the owner of the forum was photographer of the year by Popular Photography.
Seems to be a theme: ordered a pool pump. Tried to cancel when it wasn't here after 6 weeks. Got the pandemic excuse. Pump finally arrived and it wasn't what I ordered- it's not able to be used safely with US wiring (it's wired for 220V - ad is for 110V). I'm trying to send it back and get a refund but their customer service is awful and they refuse to acknowledge that there's a problem with what they sent. First they told me to read the instructions. Then they told me to send pictures. I'm not sure if the people or machines or whatever answers my pleas even speak English fluently. They refuse to issue a refund or provide a means of returning it and I'm hesitant to send it to the address on their webpage because I have a feeling it's a sham.
