Don't do this program. They have a solid software program online they call SLAP. I'd say it's worth a flat rate of $500, but youll pay way more. And the consulting package, stay far away. Mediocre at best. They require a 1 year contract with monthly fees which slides you into a total rip off. This is NOT worth $2,400 - $4,800 for that year, not even close. Nice people, just overpriced, disorganized to a decent degree, and a low budget staff (they use $3/hr virtual assistants overseas who are a bit clueless as their admin support staff-not a good sign). The core people running it, and the 2-3 consultants, are below average, and a far cry from the quality you can find for the same price. Go find an independent business advisor at $400/mo. And most key players don't want to be there, including the founder! Google the founder Carissa, youll see a few NY Times articles, including one showing she's been trying to get it out of debt and to leave/sell this org since 2011! One article: "Will a New Software Release Get Silver Lining Out of Debt?" Wish I knew this before I signed up. Not sure where they get their 10,000 small businesses helped numbers, but with only 2-3 consultants, either that number only bought the software part, or it's radically inflated. Staff turnover is pretty high. Search elsewhere for entrepreneurial support. Or find a good consultant and pay as you go vs getting stuck in a financial commitment you will regret.
