ZERO CUSTOMER SERVİCE - THEY TOOK MY MONEY

Well, i was planning to register in on international forex broker a big and truster firm and I wanted to use skrill to deposit money in my forex account

First of all the identification procedure and use verification is good didn't face any problem although my documents were in Turkish language

I did deposit 100 $ amount things went smooth... after a couple of days I tried to withdraw this back to my bank account... it is just a trial method to see the things to come in future

Skrill system only allows you to enter your bank account details if there is money in your Skrill wallet remmber this... fun part to come:)

I requested a withdrawal to a bank account so the system gave me choices do you want to withdraw to USD or TRY Turkish lira money

I chose TRY money and accordingly entered my TRY account details

Normally their transfer takes 2 to 5 days maximum

I waited till 5 days finished and raised a query that money didn't come

They said we have to wait an extra 10 working day maybe there is a delay in the intermediary banks

Waited again 10 days and raised a query

Then a back-office reply me that we excşusively transfer money in EURO!. I said okay why you didn't clarify this i have supplied my TRY account number this is not correct

They asked me on my EURO account number. I have provided documents from the bank with account number whether USD / EURO / İBAN and bank statements that prove all transaction on my personal accounts

They said okay we will do it again wait other 5 days

I waited the money never comes... raised a query... they confirmed the money was sent wait another 10 days

A lady from the back office said it is not our problem you supplied a TRY account number this is your fault... I replied to her... actually your system gives choices either in USD or TRY... ıf you exclusively transfer to Euro why didn't you clarify it and why did you give such totally different options!

Then she asked me to add the euro account details on the system and I told you to put a bank account number you have to deposit first :D ... ı have deposıted mınıum amount and updated the bank details... sent them and requested re withdrawal and no answer from them

They only sent me their false not real swift

These communications took from 7th May 2020 to 30 June 2020 just of them to reply

Even i called their international call center stayed on the waiting 15 mın then the system asked me to request a call back due to long waiting time and they never called... I even wrote to them give me a call but zero customer services at skrill unfortunately

Anyway, i called the bank to ask about the possibility of receiving a EURO transfer to any of my accounts. The bank said such transactions are rejected immediately to sender they have to send euro to your euro account

I sent around 4 times to them to send to my euro account... each time they confirm and send again to my TRY account in such a unique stupidity

After that, an employee from their back-office sent me a swift copy of my transfer... which is also directed to my TRY account... I have called my bank. The bank said this is not a real swift and we have no records of it at all

I don't think a firm like them will play to still 100 $ from you... but that what had happened never took my money up till today 13th July 2020 i am sending emails and they are just fully unaware unqualified team

Don't deal with SKRİLL they don't even deserve 1 star!

I will never recommend Skrill to anyone after my experience with them.

Roughly two months ago I made an account, which I wanted to activate about a month ago, and I put 10 euros on the account and started the verification process. I want to make absolutely clear I did nothing more, or nothing less.

Less then 12 hours later I get an email that my account is permanently closed.

After contact with the customer service I got informed that the reason for this would be that I was using my account for illegal activity or goals which Skrill does not allow, and that the 10 was taken from my account as an adminsitrative fee. That they could do this is something I was aware of up front, as contrary to some people: I do read the ToS before using services like this quite extensively. But there is a problem with their explanation: The verification process wasn't even completed at the time, so it has nothing to do with my verification process, and as literally all I have done, is put 10 on the account from my personal bank account onto my skrill account: There is absolutely no way I could've ever used Skrill for illegal activites or activities against Skrills ToS: Given I never actually used by account except for putting the 10 on there.

Confronting customer service about the contradiction in their explanation and what is possible within the boundaries of reality with the acitivity in my account did not bring anything. I was told they couldn't help me, couldn't share anything about how accounts are flagged for potentially being used illegally and could not support their claim of illegal or counter to ToS use of funds. After I noted that closing an account for false reasons (Which in this case are literally impossible) and taking someones money, is a breach of the Tos agreed to be the customer and as such illegal, and very likely even theft or fraud given the loss of money as a result. I got recommended to file a police report. (Yes, Customer Service outright adviced me to do this, which is pretty crazy if you think about it.)

I am still considering my options in reporting them to one of the multiple relevant authorities.

This company and service is untransparant, Not customer friendly and this kind of experience is unacceptable, especially for a company and service that handles extremely sensitive personal information that you are as such required to put an extremely large amount of trust in to even use.

EXTREMELY BAD! I WOULD LIKE TO SUGGEST A SOCIAL MEDIA CAMPAIGN AGAINST THEM AND GATHERING ALL THE VICTIMS TO FILE A LEGAL CASE.

Skrill without any notice have put my money (USD4500) on hold at 8:00am on the 8th of April 2017, this is a breech of section 17. 5. 2 of the terms, Ive communicated with them several times over the phone and through emails without any meaningful response. Ive registered an official complaint with them to comply with sections 20.1,20.2, and 20.3 of the terms and I got no response within the time frame they have set themselves hence I am filing my complaint here.

Ive used Skrill for months without any issues, Im selling discounted gift cards and forex signals over some trading forums. Once my freelance business started to grow in volume I got an account suspension without any notice.

I emailed Skrill about the issue and they replied asking me 3 questions about the nature of the account, the payments I received and 1 particular transaction I made. I answered all their questions, and I offered them all the assistance required. I also contacted the person who made this transaction with me (Purchasing Gift Cards) and they confirmed everything is fine and they will contact Skrill on my behalf.

When I got no response from Skrill via email I started calling, in the past 48 hours I made at least 8 international calls without getting any useful information. All they say is that theres a security check on my account, they cant tell me when it will be over, or whats happening.

Ive done nothing wrong, and I didnt believe what is written about this company over the internet until I became one of their victims.

They should be transparent about what they do with peoples money.
