I had been with SD for about 7 years. All fine until they changed their software and existing users had to change over to their new OxWall platform. The migration across was free but I had to pay lots for additional features just to get back the features I had before. As soon as the migration went ahead it was a clusterf**k. My site was down for 3 weeks (only meant to be 5 days at most!). Then the site just wouldn't load quickly and would time out so members couldn't access the site. They spent months saying it was our hosting, when we knew it wasn't, our server wasn't even breaking into a sweat. They wouldn't tell us the server settings, so after reluctantly allowing them access they conceded it was them. They blamed it on a message plugin, said they resolved it, but they hadn't. They then just stopped answering my support tickets. I had the personal number of one of the engineers so I could message when it went down as they needed to check in real time what the issue was. Well nothing, no email replies and no text replies, nothing for two months. Luckily I had decided to move platforms and two month later moved to my current supplier (who btw get a lot of ex SD customers coming to them). It was an easy migration, no problems. Don't know why I didn't kick SD into touch years ago. Skadate cost me 9 months of hell and I lost a great deal of time and money, not to mention hair! SD make out they are based in US, but they are based in some former Russian republic, Kazakhstan I think. Don't touch these people, there are much better dating scripts out there, and ones with excellent support. I'm not going to list the one I moved to in case I am accused of being a competitor, I'm not, I was a genuine SD customer and can prove it. My new platform is great, better functionality, better looks, their customer support is second to none, and the software hasn't missed a beat since I migrated across. They have a forum where other customers can talk about their businesses and offer advice. SD don't do that, they used to but closed it down, I wonder why?! So please if you value your sanity don't go near SD, I still get the shakes when I think I nearly lost my business because of them. PTSD - Post Traumatic Skadate Disorder! Oh and one more thing, funny how all their latest reviews on here are 5 star, not genuine reviews I think!

My project has been ongoing for almost a year now. Originally I had used a different Software Program but there were too many glitches once I tried to launch. I had lost time and money and wasn't sure where to go thereafter until I found SkaDate. I came across SkaDate in an online review and decided to give them a try.
I am just learning the ropes to computer programming and every step of the way SkaDate has been there for me. You might read some bad reviews about this company but I would suggest you think about what's important; in order for any company to succeed it needs to make money. Does anyone wish to work for free? Would you? It costs time and money for SkaDate to operate and they need to cover their overhead costs. For all of the time that they've invested in me and have helped me in my opinion they haven't made anything at all. In fact they have been operating at a loss working constantly to help bring my ideas to life and get my website off of the ground. There are some key elements when selecting any company; customer service, product and then price. Customer service and Product Quality go hand in hand. Both of these elements are key to running any successful business. When deciding on creating a dating site you want to work with a great software program that offers amazing customer service. What I like about SkaDate is that they are ALWAYS working on improving their program. They constantly update their program and offer their customers more and more options to help make their website better. Isn't that important in the growth of your own company? I know it is for mine! As for Price, SkaDate is one of the more expensive software options out there however keep in mind if you were to contract out a company to build an online dating website from scratch you would be in the upwards of $8000-$*******. You receive above and beyond the price you pay for their software and considering the potential income you can make once your site is up and running, its a small price to pay considering the potential ROI. I really hope you consider using their software. They are a great company through and through and they aren't money hungry as you might read, there have been many times they have helped me and did not charge additionally for their services. SkaDate thank you for everything you've done. I look forward to getting my site off the ground and helping you grow at the same time.

Skadate is a good solution for beginners but you'll have to make some compromise. You get a whole system that supports pc and mobile. But most functions in mobile are disabled and many 3rd party plugins don't support mobile version. Some elementary things are missing. There are no smileys in core and the only smiley plugin costs 30USD and is not updated to the newest core version.
Skadate is a good solution for small dating websites. But if you want to make big business, you must invest money for development and maintenance because most suggestions are ignored by skadate and you have many bugs if you use too much plugins. But you need so much 3rd party plugins because the core software is missing so much functionality. And many plugin developers don't support their own plugins. Individual development is expensive and you must invest again for updates. One example is video uploading. The core software doesn't support video uploading. You can just add videos from video websites like youtube. There is just one 3rd pay plugin for video upload but it just upload mp4 videos and has many bugs. You don't get any support by the developer. Skadate doesn't help you because they are not responsible for 3rd party plugins. But they make ads for their product with these plugins.

Nevertheless the main functions are great and you can start with skadate your own business. The biggest advantage of skadate is the open source license. So you can customize your website at all but you must a be an expert or you should have money to hire experts.

I would give more stars for skadate if they were able to realize suggestions and understood, that basics functions are not enough for a successful business. And thez need a better system for plugin development a support.

As stated above I've purchase this product close to 60 days ago. From the first week it was problems with the software. (Problems like)glitch, s script issues etc. Meaning if these issues are not resolved the problem will escalate and in my case it did so perform my worst fears!
This software is a dating program, so when clients sign up for service they are excited to be on a new platform for the hopes of finding that true love, partner etc. In the case of Skadate software they wasn't able to login are receive what they sign up for. Which was a chance to meet the love of their life. My domain is own by myself, it's called Qaraahdates.com Which is no longer working because of all of Skalfa LLC Glitch's and Bug issue's clients start to close their accounts, now I've lost revenue. These are the dates of the Ticket Support Issues I also have screen shots of the techs form Skadate trying to fix the glitch's but couldn't. The dates are as follow. 6/14/2015, 6/15/2015, 7/10/2015,

7/31/2015. Skadate hide behind their Polices as if they are so protected and knowing they have a crappy product! Let's say you go to a dealership and purchase not a brand new car but, a use car in some states you have a 30 to 60 day returns, if that car was a lemon that buyer could receive some type of refund! Same scenario only this time it is with software. This law should hold the same principles as a New or Used Vehicle. The internet is full of scam artist. I do believe Skadate software has the ability to be great, However the developers that are working for Skalfa LLC are not knowledgeable enough for this to happen. "Remember" Skadate software is the most expensive software on the market for as dating software go's. And last When I told them about the problems since I purchase the software and they also have copies of all the support tickets. And the fact that the purchase is just 60days old that some type of refund need to be granted. The reply was our policy says "NO! REFUNDS!" I could see if they where to defend their software, but instead they was only concern with the bottom line. "CASH FLOW" That says to me being in business myself as Q. F-LLC. That they know they have a crappy product and still on the internet selling this awful software and making tons of profits with knowing consumers will have major issue's with their product.
