I ORDERED Pirelli Tires from the shopmyexchange.com website, after I had completed the order & my shopmyexchange.com account was charged for the tires I got an email that my tires were OUT OF STOCK even tho they were still listed on the simple tire website as in stock & available. This sounds a lot like fraud or false advertising to show an item to purchase & only after you have submitted payment does the website inform you that the item you just purchased & paid for online is unavailable, but what do I know? I recieved an email to inform me I would have to reorder tires, so I went thru the order process again & was told the 1st order would be canceled & of course, it was not. I called the simple tire customer support number numerous times got the runaround & was told it will be taken care of on my next billing cycle, & then told to be patient & that they will get that charge removed from my shopmyexchange.com account. When all they did was just keep putting me off till the time frame to dispute the charge with the shopmyexchange people had passed & then they went from being helpful to just hanging up on me or parking my calls or telling me I have to contact shopmyexchange.com & tell them to remove charge & I said I would need something from simple tire or for them to call them & say that the order was not fulfilled because the item was out of stock, several times I was told that I must be mistaken that I can only order tires from their website, which is wrong. The shopmyexchange/aafes website links to order tires from the siimple tire website & when paying it links back to the shopmyexchange site for payment. L have contacted both companys shopmyexchange says to have simple tire contact them & no one either knows how to do it or they are just hoping i will loose interest & move on, well think again people. I have logged over 100 hours on phone trying to get this resolved and still they keep playing games. So beware if you order just be aware that the tires you order & pay for might not be in stock & if that happens kiss your money goodbye cause they do not give refunds or credits when you don't get what you have already paid for even if it is advertised on their website & it shows as in stock. There are many reviews like this against this company about once they get your money your screwed or they prolong the process till your time to recover has expired or they wear you down by saying they are researching it etc. emails go unanswered and phone calls get ignored or parked so BUY FROM HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK CAUSE ONCE THEY GET YOUR MONEY SERVICE STOPS & YOU GET NOTHING ELSE FROM THEM BUT SILENCE. The process may seem simple & easy yes but IF your one of the ones that fall into this category you are just totally screwed out of that money. I did reorder the tires & received them earlier than stated & was ok with the 2nd transaction but the over $600 dollar charge still on my account that i am having to pay is uncalled for if not criminal. BUYER BEWARE!
advertised tires & i purchased tires install & warranty and then sent email tires out of stock after I paid then have been put off for almost 10 months asking to have a refund issued to shopmyexchange.com where I purchased & paid for tires...so use at own risk

Simple Tire should change the company name to Brutal Tire. Admittedly prices and specials are fair, but may possibly be an indication of you get what you pay for in the end. Placed my order, scheduled a convenient time with a local installer. My tires shipped via FedEx with a projected delivery window to meet my appointment needs. As soon as my tires shipped, uh-oh... SimpleTire contacted me to advise that time slot was not available. Now, tires are held captive by FedEx enroute to the installer and can not be reconsigned to another installer or my residence. SImple Tire installer is now unable to accommodate for another week. I already took a day off from work and now will need to request a second day off for the next appointment. Any effort to contact customer service is futile, never able to speak with a live agent to try to remedy the scheduling issues. There is no communication between Simple Tire and the installer, so everything is a complete surprise to them when you show up at their location.
Fast forward to install day... I arrive at 845 am and advise staff I will be waiting. In the meantime, no less than three other customers that arrived after me are in and out ahead of me with far more involved repairs than simply removing and replacing four tires. After three hours of waiting I stepped out for some coffee and eventually made my way back home to wait. Take note, my install was prepaid with my tire order. Money is already in the installers pocket. My work should have been prioritized due to that fact. Six hours layer I get the call my vehicle is complete. Upon arrival to retrieve my vehicle I am presented with a $112 invoice for the installation which was prepaid with my order. Now staff is trying to contact Dealer Services in an effort to verify installation was prepaid. Simple Tire fails to answer the phones for several minutes. Finally, contact customer service that s unable to make a determination on the bill and needs to call back.
All in all, good prices if you have the time and patience to deal with nonsense. This was my first experience and will never use this service again. If you should venture down this route, I would recommend having tires shipped to your residence and find your own installer that can meet your needs. Once again, that is a huge hassle, just support your local tire shop, most will meet the advertised prices anyway.
Stay away!
Tire purchas and Simple Tire installer
On 9/21/21, order # *******, I ordered two 24 x 12.00 Kendra tires for my mower, and they arrived all crunched up like they had been squished underneath a ton of other heavy tires for a long time. I brought them to Thomas Tire in Aberdeen, NC that is accustomed to installing tires on mower rims. They tried their dead-level best, trying every trick in the book to install the tires but could not get them installed. So I took more time out my busy schedule to go pick the tires and rims up. I called SimplyTire and told them the issue, and they claimed it was a highly uncommon problem, and that issuing a return and refunding my money was all they could do. I told them that in order for me to do that, I would have to take more time out of my busy schedule to go back to Thomas Tire and have them spend their valuable time peeling the crunched up tires back off my rims and then I would have to take more time to go pick them up whenever the tire shop was finished with them. Then I would have to get to a computer and print off the return shipping label and find some tape or something to securely fastened the labels to both tires. I told the customer service guy that the only way to have these tires installed was to buy and install inner tubes behind the tires, and that the most economic thing for me and the tire shop to do at this point would be to use inner tubes which I was told were $30-$40 each and I told him that if they would either send me the inner tubes or refund me enough money to buy my own inner tubes, then I would be ok with that. The customer service guy said there was no way they could do that and that I would just have to waste more of my time and the tire ship's time getting the tires back from around the rims and sending them back to SimplyTire and they could refund me. I told him I would feel guilty taking more of Thomas Tire's time and that I would just never buy from SimplyTire again and I would not recommend anyone else buy there either. In my opinion, they would be better off paying for the inner tubes and proving they were trustworthy and worthy of doing business with, but in my case at least, they did not care enough about my time and money and the quality of their product both now and in the future by putting their money where their mouth is at. I'll just pay a slightly higher price next time I buy tires and I will save money overall because I will waste much less of my valuable time chasing problems all over the place and ordering and paying for inner tubes to fix their poorly handled tires. See photo below.
The tires I got could not be installed by even professionals because they were so crunched up like they had been crushed under a heavy load for a long time. Even if I have to pay a little more to do so, I’m going elsewhere in the future for all my tire needs. These crunched up tires have cost me so much money in taking my time away from work to deal with, and have caused me stress. Not a good deal.
I researched tires for hours, several days before picking my top choices--one of them SimpleTire.com. The deciding factor for me was the amount of rebate I would receive. The manufacture advertised "you may be eligible for up to a $100 rebate.
I called Customer Service and stated [paraphrasing] "the language concerning the rebate is ambiguous, I would like to know what I $ am am eligible for", I thought the CS rep said, "yes, $100". Happy to hear I purchased the tires.
When I recieved the email stating the tires were at the shop for installation it included the link for the rebate. When I went to the mfg site to complete the rebate I was disappointed to find that I was not eligible for $100, but only a $60.
I called SimpleTire again and spoke to a different CS rep (which, by the way was helpful and a pleasure to talk with during the wait time it took for her supervisor to review the recorded conversation that I had had a few days earlier with the first CS rep.).
SimpleTire stated that what the first CS rep had told me was that I was eligible UP TO $100, not that I was eligible FOR $100.
My response was, [paraphrasing again], but didnt the supervisor hear that I asked a direct question? That I stated the language was ambiguous?" That I wanted to know exactly what $ I would receive in the rebat?
SimpleTire would not honor the $40 credit I requested... lesson learned... get it in writing or make sure you both are on the same page.
SimpleTire's decision was that the CS rep was not responsible for making the mistake of not answering direct questionls, but I was responsible because I heard "yes, your are eligible"
I could have sent the tires back, but I would have had to take them to FEDX.
I decided to have them installed, and am happy with the tire. Not happy with the first CD rep or SimpleTire's descision... feel they should train CS to work with people for purchases.
Please do not make my mistake IF you work with SimpleTire. Mike Tucker
I needed to buy tires for my weekend car. After 13 years it now has 10,4XXmi. I'm also now disabled and cannot drive it like it was designed however I love my Porsche and won't sell it. The tires are a staggered size front to rear so not every manufacturer makes a matching set in the size I needed. I took a screenshot of my SimpleTire cart and after calling Discount Tire decided to take a trip down to their store to see if I could match or come close to the same price as SimpleTire. My thought was since it's hard for me to load the tires in my truck maybe it's worth a couple extra dollars to not deal with it.
Discount Tire matched the price of tires but with a different brand, no big deal I thought. Well, after a week I called to see if the tires were in and when would be a good time to get them mounted. While waiting for my salesman on ignore for several minutes I noticed a different mileage warranty from front tires to rear? When the salesman finally answered, I was told tires still aren't there. I asked about the mileage warranty difference and then discovered the tire expert at Discount had decided without telling me to change tire tread design from fort to rear. Hell I could of gotten tires even cheaper if that was what I wanted to do! I got the manager involved since the salesman started to get short and tell me "I just wanted the cheapest tires" and that's what he ordered.
After talking to the manager he asked if he could try to get the same tires as SimpleTire at the same price, I agreed. So now into the second week of waiting for the tires, the manager said he couldn't get the tires. About 10 minutes after talking to the manager at Discount Tire, I was on the computer and had ordered my tires and received a military discount also! This was about 7:00pm on Wednesday and on Friday my tires were sitting at my front door. Yes, the original Michelin's are available but at $240.00 a tire for a car that mostly sits in a garage (and the last tires had to be replaced due to dry rot/sidewall cracking not mileage) I didn't care to spend that much.
The Federal Formosa FD2 tires feel great and the ride is noticeably better than the older hard Michelin tires they replaced. So now is the big question would I recommend this company and/or the tires? Yes to both! SimpleTire literally delivered on price, product, and yes, timely delivery. The tires were also a surprise in ride comfort and handling. I would recommend SimpleTire and theses tires to friends and family. I will comeback to SimpleTire to buy tires for my Jeep and truck when needed.
P.s. My tires cost $340. Xx delivered and the installation at Discount Tire was $84.00 (lifetime balance & side to side rotation for wear). So for less than just the cost of 2 original equipment tires only, I had purchased 4 tires and had them installed. This worked for me, in my situation, I hope they can help you too.
Good afternoon sir, hope you are having a nice day. The reason for my email is because im a new customer to simpletire.com and i had a pretty bad experience and i thought you should hear about it. So i placed a order on Monday night for 4 new Federal tires. I was a little pressed for time so i called early Tuesday morning to see if i could expedite the order to get it shiped sooner. I cant remeber who i first spoke to. It was a lovely lady wich informed me that order could not be expedited because the order was already picked and it was waiting for fedex to pick up package. I called later that day around 3 and got assure again that it was shipping today. I proceded to call later that day since i got an email saying that the order had been cancelled. So very angry call back and talk to *, wich he was very nice and treated me very kindly. So he informed me that the part# of tires i orderd was was out of stock but they were going to ship same tire different part # but it was a AAA instead of a AA. Nobody was going to tell me about this if had not asked about it. So i got very angry and told him to cancel the order. He informed me that item had already shipped and there was no way of cancelling until next day because warehouse was already closed and order must of already shiped because it was already past 5. So next morning thinking the order had already shipped, i called him back at 11am and proceded to ask if they were willing to give me a discount on the tires for the whole switch situation i would take them and there would be no issue because he had told me it had already shipped. This was at 11 as soon as he clocked in. So i sent email asking for traking number since all Nicolas had givin me was a link to the site wich read hasnt been picked up by carrier. So after i saw what was going on i called and asked to speak with manager around 12. At this point i was very angry but not acting out. So she put me on hold and went get the maneger, she came back and told me that maneger was bussy in another call and she wasnt able to pick up the phone. So i explained to here of what had happened and i asked her if it hadnt been picked up by carrier to cancel order i did not have the time to wait that long and i needed tires by the weekend and i was already verr angry and did not want to deal with this anymore. So she said it wasnt going to be a problem since the carrier had not picked up the order. So i emailed *@simpletire.com and she assured me they were still in the warehouse. After that i emailed *@simpletire.com and spoke to her about not having seen any conformation for the refund. So she emailed me a confirmation and let me know that i would be getting the refund instantly because of it being pay pal. Also because it was bieng handed to urgent refund department and their manegers. So after 5 I get a conformation that my order had just shipped. By this time i was furious by everything, so called customer service waited for 4 minutes to someone to pick up the phone. Asked to speak with maneger and waited 13 minutes only to hang up and call again. At this point i was very very mad and may have over reacted and as soon as they answered i requested to speak with maneger and did not wana wait 15 minutes to do so. I had already gone thru hoops and had other tires i was going to order locally so i needed the deposit to order.
So she gets on the phone and literly see and reads back to me everything thats happening and says theres is nothing we can do and you have to wait till we call fedex to tell them to reroute the package and when we know they are back at the warehouse we can give you your money back. So i got really angry and told her i had been calling all day trying to stop the shipment to only learn that now they are going to have to wait till they get it back so they could refund. So i asked her was is not as simple as calling a bdm or whoever's is in charge of the warehouse and telling them to stop an order. Now because of these lies and extreme laziness i have to wait, according to fedex possible until begining of next week. Im sorry for doing this as i hate to complain but for a buisness customer service is key and i feel like the team failed miserably since they were only telling me what i wanted to hear instead of the truth.
