Simple Kneads

This is honestly the worst bread we have ever had. I have been gluten free for many years and was so excited to try your bread and 4 of us tried it and no one likes it. I never complain but thought you should know that we are so unhappy with the bread. To the point we will just throw it away and feed ducks at the park with it... I feel Iike it is very expensive / half the size it should be and tastes terrible. I wasted $38

There's nothing ordinary about a loaf of Simple Kneads gluten free bread. It doesn't look like your typical gluten free bread; it's round, like the handmade artisan loaves of yesterday. It doesn't feel like ordinary gluten free bread; it's denser, with more substance. And best of all, it doesn't taste like ordinary gluten free bread because we bake with whole food ingredients and don't use any processed starches or gums. Our gluten-free recipes bake to a hearty crust on the outside and a moist, mouthwatering consistency on the inside.

I don't even want to give them a 1 star but don't have the option. I have called and left several messages along with emails to ask them why my order is taking over 3 weeks to be shipped out. Not a single person from Simple Kneads replied back. I was literally calling 3x a week hoping to get a hold of a live person. I even tried canceling my order but they had charged my cc right away even though I didn't receive my order till almost a month later. I will NEVER shop from them again and I will let other people know as well. My only advice for them is, if you want to grow your company and be reputable please return your customers messages. This is basic customer service. Don't just take their money!

I ordered the bread based on this site's reviews and my experience was nothing like expected. My credit card was charged on August 1st and I started emailing them on August 14th. No response whatsoever. Got home tonight and the bread was here. It was sent priority mail 3 day. The bread is just ok. Nothing like sourdough. You have to order 4 loaves making it a very large investment... too bad it's nothing like the fresh and tasty bread... promptly shipped with a quick delivery That I expected based on these reviews. Don't waste your money. There are much better options out there.

I don't ever write reviews, but I really never had much to complain about. I have made and purchased different gluten free breads for around 4 years. Worst gluten free bread I have ever eaten. The pumpernickel smelled like cigarette smoke when I opened it and the sourdough smelled strong and had a very bad taste. Almost like vinegar with a strong aftertaste. I don't know where all the positive reviews came from. Not the same bread as I received. It had a more of an undone texture than soft texture. I was TERRIBLY DISAPPOINTED in product, plus out $38!

Everything on the site looks so delicious and beautiful that I want to buy everything at once) Their cakes are the most delicious of all the cakes I have tasted.)

I don't know why my girlfriend decided to buy gluten free bread, but when I tasted it was okay.
I liked the taste of Pumpkinickel, but did not liked the one with quinoa powder.
The price is really high though

I have been ordering their bread for months now- I love it- you have to bake it for a bit in your toaster oven to make it delish. So recently I placed a large order and when it came one entire box as smashed, and also contained a wrong loaf- I thought no big deal, they have a guarantee, they will exchange the box. Nope- I have emailed them now 7 times, attempted to reach them via their social media accounts and finally went to BBB in hopes to enlist their aid. I need this order by Christmas- their bread is not cheap! But they are not honoring their guarantee at all.

Simple Kneads serves very fresh and delicious breads. They are gluten free, healthy and tasty at the same time. Perfect for the delightful sandwiches. So many different flavors are available. I really liked Pumpkinickel and Sourdough.

I'm so glad I found Simple Kneads! It's the best gluten free taste bread on the market and also healthy, vegan and has an amazing taste! Recommended this already to my friends.

I was not impressed with this bread at all. Taste and texture are terrible. Customer svc unreachable

I really love to eat their bread but the only thing making me rate them only 2 stars is their Ordering Process. It's really long process and time consuming.

I would love to give this 5 stars. I really would. It is soft. It tastes great. It is the best allergen free bread that I have found ( I am allergic to dairy, eggs, and gluten. That makes finding bread difficult). However, not only are the loaves very small (typical of gluten free bread), but because of the shape of the loaf, parts of the bread are not usable for anything other than drying for bread crumbs. They are much too small to make toast or a sandwich out of (literally, the end pieces are about 2.5 inches wide). I was willing to pay the price (more expensive than Little Northern Bakehouse Bread) and wait for shipping if the bread was superior to what I have been buying. But it's good qualities don't outweigh the negative ones. It's too expensive. You have to wait for it to be shipped to you. About a fifth of the loaf is unusable. The loaves are too small. Oh, and the sourdough doesn't taste like sourdough at all. It still tastes good, just not like sourdough. And the slices are very thin... about 1/4 inch.

Little Northern Bakehouse is going to win out on this one.

Amazing taste of their Pumpkinickel, I can literally eat them every day... but I shouldn't though...
