So Now Shoprunner Doesn't Honor Any Orders From FANATICS
April 3, 2023

Before my last order that I placed with FANATICS, I always would use the "Free 2 Day Shipping"option offered through SHOPRUNNER as long as you a member who signed up with them earlier & can't recall ever having any real issues with SHOPRUNNER. But that was before & today is a different day & a here comes a whole different opinion of SHOPRUNNER. When I was finalizing my FANATICS order that included 6 - 7 items I purchased, I noticed a notation stating that SHOPRUNNER'S "Free 2 Day Delivery" option was available for embers who's order was $59 or greater, it would automatically be inserted into the Shipping & Handling tab of my order, period! Besides your being $59 or greater, SHOPRUNNER states that items would also be "eligible" too, now I never really knew what was meant by "eligible" because quite honestly I can't recall SHOPRUNNER ever refusing to ship any items of my orders due to it not being "eligible." In the past if I had 10 items ordered from FANATICS, SHOPRUNNER would ship all 10 of my items in my order each & everytime without fail & again I repeat, Free of any Shipping & Handling charge which always had $0 in that tab. Remember them ever refusing any items in my past orders, as I recall if I ordered 10 items, SHOPRUNNER handled all 10 items without question, each & every time! So yesterday, with not having any reservations due to past dealings with SHOPRUNNER, I finalized my FANATICS order but as I was reviewing my order, I was showing a $9.95 Shipping & Handling charge on my FANATICS order & SHOPRUNNER was nowhere to be found after them noting that it would automatically be inserted into my order but something failed to click & it was like SHOPRUNNER left town & there no way to get in touch with them or edit that $9.95 charge in my Shipping & Handling tab, I was stuck with without recourse. I did however contact FANATICS ASAP when my order was now finalized & they informed me that this definitely was not a FANATICS issue, it was a SHOPRUNNER issue without question & I would need to contact them, "Yeah Right! Have ever been able to contact a "live person" from SHOPRUNNER via a phone call? That's a definite "No Chance of
Ever Happening" it doesn't exist, never did, probably never will! Why would they open that line of communication up? It can only be a customer calling to $#*! about something with them! Right? Right! So my final option to contact them was email unfortunately because who knows when anyone from SHOPRUNNER will ever read your issue. Well & unfortunately this where it really got ugly with SHOPRUNNER. I did get an email reply regarding my issue & the answer that I got only made want to reach into my computer & pull this $#*!---e from SHOPRUNNER out by his throat due to his explanation as to why my order from FANATICS didn't qualify for SHOPRUNNER'S Free 2 Day Free Shipping & without sharing his explanation because honestly, it was so damn ridiculous & not even remotely possible that I felt like I actually lost approximately 50 - 100 I.Q. Pts. By just reading his total absolute bull$#*! explanation that he had to pull directly outta his $#*!, I wouldn't dare share that agony with any of the readers here. Just know.the individuals manning incoming emails probably qualified for this particular job after being fired as an assistant dishwasher at the neighborhood McDonald's! Bottom line, if you see SHOPRUNNER as an option, tun like a bat outta hell! Instead, justvbite the bullet & pay the $9.95 for Shipping & Handling, it'll be so much easier & zero pain!

Misleading and sloppy?
November 30, 2017

TL; DR: 2-Day shipping nowadays means that you get your order within 2-3 days of ordering, so ShopRunner needs to stop misleading their customers and explain how it works up front. Also, ShopRunner sent my order via FedEx ground, and not FedEx 2-day, and it's late.

I don't want to rant, but I must say that in this day and age, 2-day shipping means, you get it within 2-3 days after ordering. It's what people expect. I've read a lot about ShopRunner, unfortunately after I placed my order, and they've said, "It's up to the retailer to package it, and then we send it out within two days." Well then that needs to be made clear, because your customers are expecting their package within 2-3 days. If you can't meet that, then you are intentionally fooling your customers, and while it may not be illegal, it seems pretty sucky.

So, for me, late on November 27th I ordered over $1000 worth of stuff on Newegg. Related, I ordered a new monitor from Best Buy. About half of my order from Newegg was eligible for ShopRunner, so I thought, "Let's go for it!" I paid for 2-day shipping on the rest of my Newegg order, and I paid for 2-day shipping from Best Buy. In my order confirmation, Newegg shows that all the orders should be sent out by the end of Business day November 28th.

So fast forward. November 29th, my monitor comes EARLY from Best Buy, and my Newegg items are on their way, right on schedule (because in 2017, 2-day shipping means you get it in two days). However, the ShopRunner items weren't even shipped yet, they weren't shipped until the afternoon of the 29th. No biggie, they said 2-day and technically, it was shipped within two days. It'll come.

Today, November 30th, I double-check the FedEx tracking, and I find out that ShopRunner needed to ship two packages from different facilities (fine), BUT they sent one via FedEx 2-Day and one FedEx Ground. Well, one of those sounds like 2-Day shipping, and the other does not. The 2-day package arrived on time (yay ShopRunner!) but the other, predictably, I am still waiting on. Is it normal for a company that boasts 2-day shipping to ship packages with the slower Ground option? Seems like a pretty dumb mistake OR intentionally misleading. They will ship your package within 2-days of receiving it from the retailer, but I guess it still counts, even if they send it slowly? I don't know. Seems weird.

Granted, this is not the end of the world and my nerd rage may be blown a bit out of proportion, but I firmly believe that a company should be straight-up with their customers and judging by the numberless negative reviews across many websites, ShopRunner is not very clear with or helpful to their customers. I hope my package will not be too much longer.

I probably will not use them again.
