Ordered Norton 2010 on 24/10/09, still not received it 3 weeks later. Tried to phone and e-mail them numerous times but with no response. I will be reporting them to Trading Standards as the earlier comments have done as well to try and stop this guy from ripping more people off! Do Not Use this Website!
Ordered Norton Security on 19/10/09 but nothing received. Do not answer phone or e-mail. Looks like another rogue trader. How do we go about closing it down?
I ordered Norton 2010 internet security from this website and never received any goods. After being unable to contact anyone on the phone numbers listed on their website I found this review and was concerned that they may take money from my account so I cancelled my debit card. This website is listed as a sponsored site on Google. If you have had a similar problem please report them to Google on the following link to try and get them removed from Google search results: https://adwords.google.com/support/aw/bin/request.py?display=form&contact_type=tiaff
I ordered Norton Internet Security from Shop4tek on 25/10/2009 and paid on-line, the payment has been taken from my account. And said free delivery. After several days of noting from them I was anxious so I emailed several times. I also called, two different telephone numbers from the Shop4tek website. The phone calls were never answered so I left messages on the answerphone. I have NEVER had a reply to either my phone calls or emails. I tracked my order on line via their website. It was saying 'pending'. And on 27th Oct it changed to 'paid for and dispatched' BUT to this day I have still not received the Norton internet security 2010. I just want to urge other customers to be aware not to become a victim to this scam. Also read of similar complaints /reviews about this scam.
I wrote a previous review about the digital photo frame.!
Guess what i have recieved it today after writing a recorded letter telling them i was taking legal action under the consumer credit act 1979.
I told them i wanted to cancell my order and expected a full refund within 14 days.
Keep a copy of your letter, and the reciept of recorded delivery.
If you have no joy contact your nearest trading standards, and tell them you have sent a recorded letter for a refund.
Do not forget to put your order number on the letter, and date it.
Im keeping my photo frame, i don't think i will risk sending it back.
Its quite nice actually. GOOD LUCK.
Bad news Ordered Norton 2010 on the 19th October only received a recorded envelope with a firework advert in it They take your money and don't send the goods I have reported them to Trading standards and the Fraud Department of my bank. If you have ordered from Shop4tek.com then please get your credir/debit card cancelled before they wipe you account.
Do not order from them they are bad news
A little digging has come up with a number that has a human being on the other end - Contact Arora Cash Store direct on ******* 229 498 - good luck!
AVOID THIS WEBSITE i ordered norton security on 13th Oct and despite some early contact wiith them when it didn't show up nothing ever arrived and now the webchat, email and phone service is down. Trading Standards have been informed.
It's the same story as many others, ordered Norton Internet security, chased with dozens of emails, phoned hundreds of times and never get an answer. Got a registered letter through the post containing a leaflet to buy Chinese fireworks online. I have reported them to Cardiff trading standards and got a generic email back saying I need to report them to Consumer Direct. I can't understand why someone from Cardiff council doesn't go round to the address on the website and question what's going on, surely this is a criminal act
KEEP WELL AWAY
Ordered two norton 2010 internet security over three weeks ago all i recieved was a recorded delivery envelope with a Make Me Rich flier in it and never recieved the goods like several others this is a SCAM site. I would recommend that you stay well clear or you will end up out of pocket. I have cancelled my credit card hoping that i wouldn't be charge but have since found out that they have charged under a different name ( Arora Cash Stores).
Avoid these people.
I ordered Norton Security from this site on 17. 10. 09 and paid in full on my wife's credit card. The order and the payment were acknowledged by SHOP4TEK on the same day. A further E-mail confirmed the despatch date would be 26. 10. 09. The goods have not arrived and naturally they have FAILED TO RESPOND TO MY NUMEROUS E-MAILS AND TELEPHONE CALLS.
I now have to go through the tedious process of informing Trading Standards etc. to obtain a refund etc. which will no doubt be a fruitless exercise.
I Have now informed Trading Standards in my home town, they in turn spoke to the Cardiff office, they are aware of the problem and have been to see the company concerned, who are now giving refunds to all disgruntled customers. Watch this space for updates.
Ordered Norton 2010 and paid for it but nothing arrived. Could not contact store and no replys to many mails. This company is a scam as far as I can see. Wish I had read the reviews before hand. Reported to trading standards.
I too ordered Norton Internet Security on 13 October. Order status showing as paid and despatched on 21 October. On 23 October received a Recorded Delivery Letter containing a Firework Leaflet? Thought this was a bit dodgy and was right. Still no Norton and no contact from Shop4Tek.com. Have reported to Trading Standards.
Having ordered a norton anti virus CD and after several weeks had a recorded delivery letter containing a leaflet advertising fireworks delivered and no norton CD I contacted shop4tek.com on numerous occasions and all my phone calls and e-mails remained unanswered. L eventually found their warehouse phone number through other sources- *******9498 and got to speak to a man who calls himself Russell Kumar (don't believe that is his real name). After several phone calls to Russell a cheque was delivered to me returning the fee that I had paid in the first place. This is a very irreputable company who should be investigated by trading standards. DON'T USE THEM IN THE FIRST PLACE but if you have and need to contact them for a refund contact Russell on the above number.
Having purchased some Internet Security and not received the goods, I have tried to make numerous phone calls and wrote a number of emails, all of which have gone unanswered. I've now reported this to Trading Standards. The man informed me that if you have a complaint with this company and haven't received your goods you need to contact them. The more complaints they receive the easier it is to deal with them. Don't let these companies get away with this!
How do people get away with this?!? Makes me sick reading these reviews of people just giving their money away and getting scammed. I guess there are so many of these scam businesses out there governments can't regulate all of them.
They do not send out the goods you purchase but still take your money and will not respond to telephone calls or e mails
Rob, The same happened to me and half a dozen other reports on the net. In answer to your question, You need to report this to trading standards as soon as possible to stand a chance of getting the company investigated, the website shut down and your moneY back. I order a product from them, and received an envelpoe with a piece of paper advertising swineflu, but no product. They do not answer emails or phone... REPORT Them, I did!
Has this company gone bust, I have purchased Internet Security from them but all I received was an empty jiffy bag - two weeks later a dozen emails and loads of messages left on their phone - nothing. This is a first for me and I don't like it - their website is still running and I think Google ought to know about it but how do you report this type of thing?
