Wasted hours of my time. THey make you wait for an hour long timer to make additional edits. I didn't get back to the page right on time and it wiped everything I had worked on. Stupid me, I did this three times. From looking at the reviews, I'm not the only one.
For example, in certain scenarios, the PDF metadata functions work incorrectly. I repeatedly wrote to the support service on this issue, as well as other problems. I described the problem in detail, attached screenshots with explanations. But in response, no feedback, complete ignoring.
Thus, the functions do not work as they should, and there is no support at all. Accordingly, the score of one point is fully deserved.
I wasted 30min of my time editing bookmarks for a pdf file to get notified after i finished that the free version is up to 200 pages and my file had 222 pages
Pretty bull$#*! to tell you this after you done huh, just so you get frustrated and pay to get your file with your bookmarks
Large number of websites says FREE download. This program is NOT free. Website should alter wording to indicate it is pay for use software. Lifewire give wrong impression of this being FREE software. Wasted large amount data on my limited data budget
This site advertises how you can do this and that for free. But they don't tell you that you can only use this one time. When you upload a 2nd file you will receive a message that you've reached your limit (even though you only modified a single document. SCAM
To make it worse, the files you upload you cannot remove. Don't chance your file information being stolen by them.
In less than 24 hours after attempting to purchase a year subscription to use the PDF editing tool I had fraudulent charges on my card similar to another reviewer. Are they in on it?
I have never used this service, nor given any credit card information to SEDJA. My bank discovered a suspicious charge from them today, which I never authorized. Last February I signed up for a free trial with PDFFILLER, which I had an almost impossible time reversing recurring charges and annual fees. Now I wonder if PDFFILLER shared credit card information with SEDJA? Scammers are everywhere these days. BEWARE.
I'm generally satisficed with this website, being one of the online websites that actually offer a pdf editor for free. I used this website to edit my pdf files, and it seems pretty reliable for me.
The Website HTML to PDF worked like a charm. So I purchased the HTML to PDF API account. While there is an API, it did not work for the exact HTML that their sample page did work for. I have no doubt that it probably does work for some simple stuff, but the best I could get was 404 error with the HTML as a String and a 550 (internal server error) for the file based API call.
No response from their Contact Us page. Used Pdfcrowd free trial and it did work, super simple to implement also.
I was trying to edit a PDF on this website and i opened it from a link. (because when i tried to download it, it said it would take 2 $#*!ING HOURS) instead of opening the PDF, IT SHUT DOWN MY ENTIRE $#*!ING BROWSER FOR NO $#*!ING REASON! I quickly opened it back up, restored my tabs, and immediately blocked the site (sedja) and closed it's tab out, AND THEN MY BROWSER $#*!ED UP AGAIN! WHAT EVER YOU DO, DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE UNLESS YOU LIKE TO USE SCAMS! A better wesbite for editing PDF files is PDFescape
If you just need to fill in some fields on a pdf, this free online pdf editor does the job. It beats paying Adobe $12.99/mo ($155.88/yr) or more.
Don't know why the reviews are so low it did what I needed it to do. All other PDF editors ask you to go on trials.
First off, I need to acknowledge I'm using Sejda in 2021, while the other reviews from 2018 and early 2020. I'm sure there has been modifications since. As I have had a relatively positive experience using Sejda. So it's smart of the company to use the negative reviews to improve the product
I needed a program to quickly and easily edit, split/merge, and sign PDFs in a secure way without breaking bank. Found Sejda in Jan 2021 and started used the free web version (they remove documents off their server after a few hours). I'm looking to buy the desktop version with lifetime access for a flat fee, as the volume of editing PDFs is increasing (there is a limit of 3 edits per day).
It's pretty good price value compared to Adobe, and way more intuitive n easy to use (office worker, not a digital artist). And a lot more aesthetic and modern than a lot of other websites (which look sketchy)
They also have different prices depending on what you need - week, month, annual subscriptions or lifetime access to desktop version. And i imagine the cancellation is pretty easy and drama free. Received quick communication from customer service as well.
Pros - good for general editing, on par with Adobe, reasonable price, updating modern features via web subscription, good free version too, reasonably secure
Cons - free version limits to 3 edits per day, not as decked out with features as Adobe
Disclaimer - I should be getting paid for this review Ahaha but actually I just wanted to help anyone else out there who's on the fence about getting this product. Just try out the web version to see if it's good for you. And there's baby steps with the week and monthly trial before you commit an annual subscription. Do what makes sense and works for you.
After paying for this service, there were 2 fraudulent charges to my bank totaling over $300. BEWARE
Will let you do all the hard work and editing of a PDF but then holds you at gunpoint to actually download the PDF you edited. Would not recommend.
This application worked excellent and provides an excellent and VALUABLE service for a meager price. Thank you!
