I mentioned that the site was awkward. I have a mac and use Firefox. I also build websites for a living.
It seemed like the order form froze and it was not at all intuitive what to do next. I was a US order. I tried to click the dropdown to select STATE - nothing. I tried to input Zipcode - nothing. Finally I double clicked the Paypal Link and that took me to the purchase info at PayPal.

I bought the bundle plus shipping plus tax for less than the weatherstations prize in South Africa.
Shipping to South Africa is very high.
Although it went through the USA and SA postal services I received my package with in 2 week that I think is excellend.

The Vantage Pro2 Console works as advertised. I received the product on the date as stated.
I have the Vantage Pro2 system at my other house. I just replaced my existing Vantage Vue console here just because I like the Vantage Pro2 Console display much better and it is much easier to read from a distance, larger.

Web site was a little slow but with full security ruining sometimes you just need to be patient to get the best deals.
I will recommend Scientific Sales to anyone who asks me without hesitation.

New Davis Vantage Pro 2 installed and running great having replaced an older unit that died after 9 years of service. Very happy with the price and shipping was prompt.

I am looking forward to using this. It is replacing a lower quality weather station that has been nothing but trouble and now only in and out temps work.

The online ad said that there was free shipping, but I got charged for it anyway. Not happy at all. Even called and left message but never got a call back.
