I bought a Sceptre HDTV July 2015 and thought that it had gone out in Jan 2016. I contacted Sceptre under the manufacturer's warranty, through email, and phone. They were very busy and promised to call me back. They returned both of my correspondence by the same method. It turns out that the TV had entered burn/test mode and all that I had to do was follow a simple 30-second procedure. My TV was back in business, and, as I type now, I am using the TV.
Tv has dead pixels and broke one month after purchase. They refused their warranty. Pure scam artist here would give zero stars if I could. SAVE YOUR MONEY
