“I signed on to the SaveBig site, got my free(?)bids...”

I signed on to the SaveBig site, got my free(?)bids Bid on several point cards then had to leave the site. A week later I decided to go back and continue on the site. There is no way to log into the account that I had created. The site goes dead, tells you that your information belongs to an established account(NO KIDDING). Then, after an hour of trying, I tried to log off the site! No way! Some insert says wait for a "chat". Burned once, not ever again.

Evil... thieves. Outright robbery. When you visit the page, you see many auctions going on, apparently where people are winning things like flat-screen HDTV's for mere pennies. When you try to navigate to another page within the site, you are offered to register... simple enough... they request your credit card info, just like eBay... then, poof! They inform you that you have 100 bids... each of which costs a dollar. Yes, they just charged your credit card $100, like it or not. Then you get inside the site, and surprise! The auctions are almost impossible to win... I do not know if there are actually other human users participating, or if it's all just fake... but either way, it's a terrible fraud... (and of course there's no customer service phone number, and emails requesting a refund are totally ignored...). Owners of the site ought to be thrown in prison.

Part of the registration process asks for your card information... The site presenting itself as a website such as ebay, amazon, etc. thought nothing of it and when you hit submit it instantly charges your account $99.00. The site has no confirmation screen or any notification that by clicking register you are you going to be charged.

I need a notebook to refer to for usernames and passwords. For some reason I had the password but didn't remember the username. I tried starting a new account, no luck. I wrote to consumer support but received my password only via e-mail. I thought it might be fun to try but if they can't even help with login, then to my way of thinking what else are they lacking!

This website is suppose to allow you to bid on merchandise but when you register on this site it will charge you $99 without you making one bid. The site does say any thing about a fee to register but once you submit your information you are slapped with a charge. Stay away from this site unless you want to pay to bid!

I think. This website pretty much the same like bigdeal.com

I've won $15 lowe's gift card for 31 cents tho'. Which is nice.

BUT. 31 cents is 31 bids x 60 cents = $18.6 (that is how much the company actually make)...

They don't lose money. They gain money.

I was lucky enough to bid just 1 time. Imagine if I am the one who bid 31 times. I actually paid $18.6 for $15 gift card

I opened an account several months ago, and was very dissatisfied with the products offered for bids. I never saw any items(ipods, ipads, etc) to bid on usually just the cases for them or earpieces. I finally would bid on bid cards to increase the number of bids I had. After accumilating about 350 I waited several months hoping that some quality items would appear. One week ago, I decided to try, but could only get to the page where I would have to pay $99 to create an account( I already have an account). I intend to cut my losses and not deal with them anymore. STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS!

I saw this website while I was searching for a watch. I looked on it and it looked fairly interesting. The site would not let me view the Auction until I signed in. I forst read on the site that it was free to sign up. I (stupidly) entered my CC number. Classic bait nad switch! They immediately charged my card $99.00. I did not get anything! I got off immediately and tried contacting the site. The operators passed the buck and said that I would be reimbursed in24 hours. They kept stating that they have wonderful customer service~BS! It has been three days and to no avail, no return of my money! Don't get caught in this site's trap!

Hello! I just want to make as many people as posible aware of this website, that "saves u money" i don't see how after you have sign up and see the inside of it. My expirience has been the worst of my life when it comes to buy stuff online and let me tell you why:
To start you have to create a account and give your credit card number, they will charge $99.00 usd for you to start bidding. With the $99.00 you will get 132 bidcredits but the amount of credits depends on the offer you get when you sign up. Usually is 132 credits and they give sum extra credits free in my case was 20 extra so i have a total of 152 credits now you are basically set up to start bidding.
Everytime you bid it subtracts one bidcredit from your account and the item increses 1cent in value and the countdown timer adds 10 seconds to it. In summary i had 152 times to bid and win something.
At this point i was so exited and the first thing i looked was for a ipad2. The prices at the moment were soo cheap $15 dollars for a ipad2 16gb wifi! I started bidding and bidding the price was getting higher and higher. I spend 2 hours trying to get it with no luck. 10 hours later the fucI<ing auction is still on! And the price is 215.00 dollars and the auction is still going! But now here is how the company makes it profit: you pay $ 99.00 dollars to sign up and only get 132 bidcredits + 20 bidcredits free=152credits. Lets divide 99.00(sign up) with the credits 152:99.00/152=. 65 you are paying 65 cents everytime you bid! The auction ended for 250.00 dollars. If one bid is 1cent in value. This means that:. 65x100(this is the times you need to bid to get to 1 dollar)= 65.00 dollars for every 100 bids. Now 65x250=16,250USD this is the profit the company made for this item. Winning the auction does not mean the item is yours! This gives you the opportunity to but the item within 7 days of the win. So the person who won the item has to pay 250.00 dollars extra plus the S&H. Now you tell me if this iis not a complete rip off...? PS. Am sorry for all my writting mistakes. English is not my first language but i hope you get the message right
