I bought a new build condominium in Addison, TX in the Meridian Square Building downsizing from a home & specifically chose new to be free of inherent or inherited issues. Well Savannah provided me w/the exact opposite. Shoddy would be a complimentary adjective to the their workmanship. They took 16 mos. To secure their Permanent Certificate of Occupancy (PCO), they advertised a generator it was found to be approx. 14 yrs. Old & not functional however they said "it's a generator" they were forced over 16 arduous months to replace the generator, too many things to list, they didn't attend to the most basic to significant issues i.e., punch list items or warranty needs at all in the majority of instances. Cracks of over 1/4" appeared@ 3 mos. In all cabinets (that looked like a 3 yr. Old stained) to the walls they were to be secured to. Cracks I pointed out in walkthroughs they filled w/wood putty & covered oil stained cabinets w/latex paint a huge known no In painting & building 101, but anything to do things on the cheap, like wadding up masking tape & shoving it in sheetrock cracks & painting it, so eventually w/the humidity of showers in all bathrooms bubbled & either fell on the floor or peeled off the bathroom cabinets/vanities, all hardware is crooked, it's a disgrace. Then we find they didn't install the alarm included in our contract, they also installed SO many used parts. Our call box was installed by the same company that installed the alarm systems in the units, where they admit in an email to me the company cut the wires to the keypad panel they never installed despite that ot was made abundantly clear as a need per ADA-compliance had to be by the front door. I'm supposed to transfer to my wheelchair and in 30 seconds in a state of sleep or not rush of the front door say " ax murderer hold on let me turn around in an impossible set up go to the panel that actually isn't even hooked up and hit police emergency." That's a great plan except that Kevin Murphee admitted the unit was not wired to myself & my realtor & he refused to assist me w/anything he ran out screaming he would do absolutely nothing for me as I bled profusely from their failure to install any blocks in any of the showers allowing my medical seat to drop after three months & can't bear to get into that but the horrific injuries have forever altered my life for the worse. There's also the numerous times the elevator failed to work for up to 5 days in a row in handicapped-accessible building? This is not a handicap accessible building as advertised but a death trap for a disabled person. This was just another money grab for Savannah Developers here in Addison. They have refined their ability to take parts from all their projects and reuse them from wires to switches they use anything from any build site from over 9 yrs. Ago could be longer, they had a nice pile growing in our garage right behind the "disabled" garage door entry & exit lovely, some poor residence is getting the remaining used parts of our remaining used parts in their "new" home! The photos attached will show you what their work looks like after you've been here just a bit. They've got a lawsuit right now going on over townhomes in Highland Park, Dallas TX. Same issues we have here they don't supervisor subcontractors they hire the absolute, cheapest workers they don't ensure that they're certified in their trade, skilled, financially solvent as long as they're cheap & able to work. That's all Savannah cares about, or whatever name they're doing business under again, the most duplicitous despicable company I have ever seen allowed to repeatedly build in a city filled with Savannah Developers many examples outside of our HOA examples of more building defects and shoddy workmanship. They have combined for such disastrous results for too many residents. It must stop so we post here and hope you won't wind up in the same position. Your home should be a joyful place for family and friends to gather. Please I implore you to do your due diligence and stay away from any of the names from these executives associated w/Savannah Developers & their hired reputation management who has gone to every site & posted outright lies to discredit these accurate reviews, he will say they called we didn't meet with them, that is 100% false and outrageous. The truth is we did everything to not wind up where we are. They chose to take it to this level now they get to worry they get to suffer, they will not get away with this with us not for one more day and we will make sure that they do not do this to anyone else, especially someone in a vulnerable population such as the disabled. You have rights make sure you pursue them aggressively. You are a human being, and you deserve to be treated with some common courtesy and decency at the very least-Savannah has none. There is no integrity, decency, or humanity to be found anywhere within this company, in fact just the opposite.

Tip for consumers:
Struggle to type w/disability but you should be able to get the gist very easily & I truly do not want anyone to go through this it's so pervasive in every building. Their roof membranes have all failed, HVAC systems & appliances in under 4 months & they've honored no warranty requests. At month 3 our HOA dues were raised an astounding 40% they are the most crooked developers so much so Addison City Manager has permanently banned them from ANY new developments. Too little too late-don't be next!

This review is for Savannah Developers Dallas TX.
After builder delays here at Meridian Square here in Addison TX, we closed on our condo on Sept 2021. The building wasn't completed as we moved in on a temporary certificate of occupancy. As of 11/18/22 or over a year, Savannah hasn't completed all the work and or received a final certificate of occupancy for the building. In the meantime, some of the finish work that the builder has completed displays poor workmanship. Many dissatisfied homeowners have been in communication with Savannah, The City of Addison Code Enforcement Department well as HOA for the community. As a homeowner, it is recommended that perspective customers preform a lot of investigations on this builder before considering purchasing a home from them. This is just a short summary of the homeowner challenges.
Buying a new build home is supposed to be a rewarding and joyful time. This hasn't been the case at Meridian Square built by Savannah Developers for me or some residents here at Meridian Square in Addison TX.
