I first heard about satellite phones from Mike Adams aka "the health ranger." I have been putting this purchase off for a couple of years and after what happened in Maui decided to pull the trigger. I called and spoke with Alvin who was very professional. He patiently went over the phone options and costs and answered all my questions. He convinced me I could obtain these phones within my budget. It was the best investment I have made in a while! I have a strong feeling that these phones will not only help me and my husband, but our neighbors as well!
I notified them to suspend service on my month to month contract. They acknowledged the call log and request but continued to bill me saying I didn't conform to their suspense policy. They apologized for their "communication error" not inform me to also email a request but still won't reverse their billing. A low class company, and often a sign in financial trouble.
I need assistance getting started. I don't know my new number and haven't been able to place a call..
I was impressed with the compact useful packaging, I may have over bought service for a backup device, time will tell, though. I've not delved into use, yet.
Will have a better view of my expierence with Satellite Phone after I recieve my phone time and it works well!
I'm am a multiple return customer and satisfied with customer service & equipment rental.
Started using for Boy Scouts so we could have emergency phones in backcountry and continue to use on camping trips out west into the backcountry fir personal use.
i think I'm missing something, my coworkers sat phones get service but mine won't. Over all tho my experience has been good usually quick with customer service answers, very good price. Although I purchased my phone at the end of the month, and they charged me for service even tho I didn't get the phone until the 6th of the next month, for someone on a budget that was hard. Can't complain I guess, life isn't perfect
The refundable deposit was mentioned but not spelled out in the checkout so it was a little confusing.
Made the process easy. Only wish they send the tracking with order or upon shipping. Had to call. But all went well
Could be just a bit more clear and explicit with regard to what is included in any given package. Spell it out. People expect that. Had to do a lot of review and use of the back button.
Hope the phone arrives on time. Hope the phone works in the Sequoia National Forest. Shopping was simple.
Website needs to be more interactive especially describing rental plans and differences in sat phones for Alaska.
It's not clear what equipment comes with the rental. I didn't see whether extra battery or charging cables are included.
straight forward interface and easy to follow instrucitons. I would like to see the return date change to a 'date shipped back' rather than day returned to store. this especially would be helpful when choosing your automated return option, so one doesn't have to figure out how long your default shipping speed is.
Had some difficulty in editing original order to what we eventually wanted. Couldn't figure out how to edit the contents of the cart.
Good however, more info om the difference between different types of phone and networks would be awesome opposed to us having to go to a website and find it

Phone cale timely with all overseas adapters and was easy to register to the network. Only issue was small crack found on phone where antenna housing is. Not causing any malfunction though.
Prompt delivery, excellent communication presale, good knowledgeable people to trust in this type transaction.
A bit frustrating the surcharges/fees aren't clearly explained at checkout. It's an unwelcomed surprise. Now I'm sure I have to also pay for setup etc. or is that surcharge a part of that or simply a credit card fee?
Providing a per minute airtime plan would be preferable than having to select the cheapest one for $55. I only plan on using the phone for emergencies so a "no minutes" plan would make it even better.

There was a mistake with me order because of a misunderstanding, Callie got a hold of me and helped me through it. I ended up returning the product i initially bought and she helped me get a unit better suited to my needs. Both her and Barry took exceptional care of me and they both went out of their way to get me taken care of. I thank you both
It was difficult to figure out how to change an order in the cart. I had to delete my browser cookies.
I appreciated the sales rep calling to confirm my rental details, as they needed some adjustment. I received my phone on schedule and as expected.
