It seemed that the city's ( City of Santa Monica, California) governing system is and been managed by an organized ignorant people getting paid to destroy more of what is left of the City. To be noticed: When at the border of West Los Angeles, entering the city by Veteran Blvd, the smell of all kinds of drugs will hit your nose, making you breathe in the poisonous smoke to start your journey toward downtown and the Beach, while there, you not only will notice the smoke but if you stay long enough you and your kids will feel different and see things diffrent. Driving further down Wilshire Blvd, you will notice many half-empty apartments and new apartment buildings, which are new but empty. The strange part of your journey is that many builders are applying to build a new apartment along Wilshire Boulevard, knowing that others are empty or half empty. The emptiness is because of the very high rent the building owners are charging. Driving closer to the City downtown, you will see and feel the presence of more homeless people, drug addicts, and those who need mental help using the sidewalk and any other place to curse and fight with their other them, blaming the invisible them for what they have become. While the issue here has been an ongoing matter for years and is getting worse by the day, yet for the intellectuals in the city's governing system to have or introduced a plan that will solve the problem or at least reduce it to a lower level, is yet to be heard to implemented by the unionized intelctuals with ignorance, bureaucratic submind while entering their office, on the contrary, some people provide the necessary tools for the edicts to inject the poisons into their body so they have found their heaven and will not go anywhere. Having all that in mind, the city is built by the people, but it hasn't worked for the people, let say in last twenty years when the UCLA two hospital and medical buildings were built where there was unity and harmoney among the renters and home owners in the area, now the area has become a junk yard of the junkies where the city contributing to it with a hig ignornce attitude saying OKY for a new apartment building project where city gets paid for the building permit and a higher rent taxed by the city, so only those who can afford the high rent to move and those who can and possibly become friends with Smokes Shopes, rising like poisonous mushroom all over the tiny city of Santa Monica will have the priority to sign a lease. Here, one might add that the City of Santa Monica has taken over the objectives of what once upon the time was Venice Beach, a drug edicts corporation made possible by "Neo Liberalism". I highly recommend that those who are interested Google the wording. I always wanted to know what it is that these people do or produce so that they get paid so high salaries, do they get paid for doing something for nothing, or vice versa? So you want to move to the City of Santa Monica, welcome to the jungle operated and managed by you know who.
