Because I can't give less than 1 star

In early January, 2022 I requested Salt Armour (SA, SA Team, SA Fishing, SA Company, SA Wholesale used interchangeably) to provide me a quote for 115 custom designed hoodies with my corporate logo combined with our current project name and 2 SA designed logos, SA shield and "Fins and Stripes." I had previously requested the same order in 2021, but at that time, I was told the delivery time would be 5-6 weeks (email attached), and that was outside of my timeline, so I tabled the request to the following year. Once the request was re-submitted in 2022, I was provided with the attached mock-up and I approved of the mock-up and the quantities and sizes ordered.

More historical information: In 2020, I had SA create a bulk order of custom "Performance Shirts," with the same logo I asked them to include on the order for the hoodies. These shirts were delivered as promised with the proper logo printed on them.

When I approved the order, SA contacted me for billing and the invoice was paid immediately on 01/11/2022. See below:

When I had previously spoken to XXXXX of SA Wholesale, he had informed me that production time would be 5-6 weeks, see below:

I ordered the sweatshirts in early January so that I would have them at the beginning of March to award my team upon completion of our project. Given the 5-6 week lead time, everything should have been fine. After several weeks with no update, I reached out to SA to follow up on the order. I was told by XXXX XXXXXX that due to having to outsource these items to China, and the advent of the Chinese New Year, I would not be able to get them in the original timeframe quoted to me. Which meant my team would not get their small "Thank You" gift from me in time. Not a huge deal, just a little inconvenient to have to now mail 100+ sweatshirts around the country.

Fast forward several months, and I still do not have my merchandise. I followed back up on 02/12,03/30, and 04/26, with little or no communication from SA. Finally on 05/26 I received notice, not from SA, but from UPS, that the order had shipped. The order arrived on 05/31,140 days after payment had been remitted. On top of that, the quality of the product I received was not up to my standards and should not have been up to SA standards. This product should not have been shipped in this condition. The silk screening was splotchy and already peeling off the garment. The SA shield logo was approximately 1.5 inches square, which is not to scale with the rest of the garment, and my corporate logo was unrecognizable.

SA has not, at this time, reached out in any way to attempt to rectify this situation. Until they fix both customer service and quality control gaps, I would strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere.

Order Placed March 25, Item Finally Received on June 20th

I placed an order on March 25th. Payment deducted and posted almost immediately (via PayPal). Did not receive tracking information. I figured I'd just wait a couple weeks since I knew they were overwhelmed due to the virus. Still no word. I went on their chat feature, at first wasn't working. Few days later tried again and waited for hours to chat with someone. The person hardly apologized (it was about a month after my order was placed) and gave me a tracking number (which does not work/"cannot be located). I went on chat a few more times and it said someone would email me. No one has emailed me. It has now been two months, again, no working tracking number nor order received. I will have to go through PayPal, which by the way, SA provides further contact information to be used before putting in a dispute. I've done them a courtesy and emailed using the contact provided. That was Friday. Not counting Memorial Day, it has been almost two days since I emailed. I'm trying to take in consideration that this weekend was a holiday, despite it being a little over two months since my order has been placed. Horrible customer service. Additional info, this vendor is located in FL. Package was to be delivered to NJ (and yet I see people overseas have gotten their orders via Facebook.?) - 0 Stars

- Part 2 - After I posted this review (On May 26), I finally had a few reps respond to my chat and email inquiries. I was given a tracking number... however, no items were shipped. Then on June 15th (almost 13 business days later from the review) I received an email from another rep apologizing for the mix up. She also indicated that some of the items I initially ordered weren't available so I had to pick from their current inventory, which was disappointing, however, in the same email she made it right by offering a free two additional masks and refund on shipping. No back and forth necessary, she knew something extra had to be done immediately (THANK YOU!). I received the items 5 days later via UPS. Now about the quality... the material is much thinner than I expected (which is why I didn't give them an extra star), you can layer the "mask" if you are using it for some protectional purpose. On the packaging it does show it's made for some type of protection (I don't know if they do something extra that is naked to the eye of protection technology). I do like them as a headband... they are very snug and stretchy. How I feel now - If I had paid full price, now knowing the quality, I know I would have been disappointed going through months of hassle. However, since they finally not only rectified the situation, threw in a couple freebees, sent the items very quickly after the rep said I would and apologized (which previous reps hardly had)... I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt in thinking perhaps they have their shipping under control now. One star off for the previous reps who were not helpful, another star off for the thin material. 3 stars giving the benefits of the doubt that COVID impacted their operations, that FINALLY a rep made it right, and that ultimately I will use the product on occasion (I bought other masks but will keep these in my car and use them as headbands and additional face protection). The photos attached are with minimal stretch. I'm not sure if this second review counts as being offered any incentive but wanted to still share the rest of my experience.

Not what ordered

This is a CHAT I had with the online support Ordered on 4-2-20 received 4-28-20. I'm okay with that. That part that burned me is non of them were the ones i ordered.

I received my package yesterday (4-28-20). When I opened the package it had five items and a sticker, quantity as ordered. NON of the items, except the sticker, matched up with the description or picture of what I had ordered?

BBB will be getting complaint from me for SA Company. I encourage others to do the same that are getting the run around from SA Company. This is the worst customer service I have ever had to deal with. Spent all day on their chat. Between them giving generic messages to false shipping number this company needs to be investigated by the government. They give false tracking numbers tell you it has left the building and they cant refund it, send it back when you receive it. If I could give a negative review i would. I placed an order on 11/01/2019 for two package deals that totaled $104.84. I fully expected to have the order be slow as it was peak season with Christmas right around the corner. And even though these were intended to be Christmas presents I didn't think they would be here before then. I first noticed there was an issue with the order after i had not received any emails with tracking numbers all the way into December. So on December 13th i started a chat with customer service and kindly asked if there was an issue with the order. They said they were just busy and that the order was processing & that I would receive an email with tracking numbers in 24-48 hours. I figured they were pretty jammed from the holidays and let it go. I reached out again on December 21st after not receiving any further emails with said tracking numbers. Was told the same thing. I reached out again on December 20th & December 28th, same thing. I reached out again on January 4th 2020, 2 months after my order was originally placed and my credit charged, asking for a refund only to be told that a manager would have to review the order and my request before being completed. ARE YOU SERIOUSLY KIDDING ME?!?!?!? Not only did i have to speak with at least 2 people in the customer service chat every time i reached out for a mysterious timing out of their chat session... yeah right lame excuse... but i had to wait for a manager by the name of Juan to reach out to me by email? Not only did Juan not email me like i was told he would on January 6th about this issue, but i talked with Kernst who wouldn't stay in my chat, only to hopefully dump me off onto someone else, but Yyvonia had to audacity to ask for prove of my damn order because it was now lost in their system due to a glitch! Like someone else stated we like the products, but this is the worst customer service ever! Had i not blown a gasket this company would have went on like nothing happened. They were going to sit there with a non processed order while they had collected my money. Nothing but thieves! And Juan, the manager that wasn't actually going to reach out to me, claimed he busy but he had all intentions of getting back to me. LIES! Lying to customers just to keep their money and not actually process their order 11 times i communicated with someone from there shows they fully intended on keeping my money with no product in return. And they claimed that they couldn't provide me with proof of a refund as it didn't exist in email format for them, but miraculously Juan gave me not one but 2 confirmations of my refund! Juan refused after all the bs & headaches i had to go through to even try and make it right due to their policies. All he wanted was to throw in some random face shield for free, return shipping prices, or refund the entire order.

I am turning this into my attorney general, glad i see other have the same scams going on for them. I will NEVER EVER order from them again and I will make sure no one i know does either, including no one from the Jeep club or any motorcycle riders i know either.

I am sorry to hear that, Its a very few customers that complaints of the quality of the face shields, I see that you were already refunded as you stated for the product total, per our return policy, stated on the website that shipping is not refundable, if you are not happy with the products you can send it back for a product refund, shipping charges are not refundable, therefore, we can't provide you the shipping refund since that is a fee paid to the carrier and its reimbursed to us. So as you can see... Juan's offer of, "help" as stated here was nothing more than a smoke screen to make readers think that SA actually had intentions of a resolution. When in actuality, Mr. Juan Hernandez very simply reminded me that a multi-million dollar company is perfectly comfortable with stealing $9.57 from a customer who also happens to be an American Veteran. Very sad considering how "Pro-USA" SA Co seems to be with all it's designs depicting US flags, military, first responders, etc. etc. Again... VERY SHAMEFUL. Below is my original review:

POOR QUALITY Face Shields with No Shipping Refund
Face shields are POOR QUALITY. Tissue paper thin, edges are not finished and fray / pull apart and are uncomfortably tight. I paid $25 for 5 horrible face shields and returned all of them. Return shipping cost me $4.57 out of pocket. I was only credited $20. SA does not refund shipping or reimburse for return shipping. So I lost $9.57 for absolutely nothing. Shameful.
