Absolutely disgusting. I was heavily pregnant and had to attend A&E in an emergency. I even declined an ambulance because I felt someone else might need it more urgently — only to be charged £9.50 for 6 hours parking while seeking urgent medical care. How is it justifiable to penalise people in crisis like this? Especially those making a conscious effort not to burden public resources. Shameful and inhumane!

I paid for parking, operated by Saba at Hillingdon tube, with the Pay by Phone app. But I got 1 digit wrong and ended up paying them more (for the next station).
I got a parking ticket and filled in the Appeal form online. They sent a reply which you cannot access on mobile email (I assumed they accepted the proof of payment). Then 6 weeks later the threat of court. Look for the appeal to that, and no good because more than 28 days from the appeal response. Ask for new id number from Saba and they refuse! So no option but to go to court. What a waste of time. They are just playing the system and bullying.
I parked at Finchley Central station at 11.50 am and paid for a 1 day parking ticket at the station parking ticket machine which cost £6.50
Many TFL car parks are controlled by Saba Parking Ltd.
3 months later I got a letter from QDR solicitors representing Saba Parking that I was £170 in debt for unpaid parking at the station.
I sent proof of payment, statement from bank and this was rejected as I couldn't prove that payment was made at Finchley Station. I am still challenging this £170 shocking fine.
Please keep your receipt for 6 months minimum and please set up a scam parking Page so we can gather evidence against these scam companies.
