Purchased a rug and we received a letter see below to choose a gift. We chose free foyer rug. What a scam! After several calls, emails on the status of our free gift we were told that they don't offer that anymore. We sent back request for the gift in May! Filed with BBB and they scammed their way out of the complaint telling the BBB that I filed complaint on the wrong company.

I found a beautiful rug and wasn't sure I could trust this site. But oh my god, what a beautiful surprise. The rug was 35 years old but came looking and smelling brand new. You could tell it's an old rug but it was really well cleaned. It looks so unique and adds so much character to my home.

I will be canceling my other west elm rug I ordered and will get another vintage pieces.

I used to love this shop, got three or four rugs from them in the past few years. The only problem was the ultra-bright lighting they use for photos distorting the color so what you get is often not what you expected. No biggie, with free returns, though.
But I've just had an upsetting experience and I don't even see what they have to gain from treating me badly. I'll tell the story: the cart suggests adding a rug pad when you check out and I accepted that the last couple rugs. I was unpacking them weeks later and saw the rug pad has a rubbery layer for grip. Having a latex allergy I sealed the packages back up and emailed the company to ask if it was natural or synthetic rubber. I got some weird replies telling me it was felt, fiber, recycled yarn yadda yadda, as if I'd asked about the pad when I was clearly asking about the rubbery coating. I just couldn't get a sane answer out of the rep. No matter how much I explained it was just "the pad's felt". I tried calling, same idiot/jerk. Tried a facebook message, ignored. Finally I tried using the BBB and again got the same weirdo saying the same weird non-answer. But then FINALLY they got off their butt and called the supplier to ask and both the RugSource weirdo and the rug pad manufacturer's rep stated on the BBB thread that I could rest assured there was no latex. BUT THAT WAS A LIE! The manufacturer's rep, thank goodness, included a pdf with all the product details. So after two months of seeking this info I was finally able to determine that no, it isn't safe for me to open these packages. What if I had listened to that claim there's no latex? Good grief. I guess some people just do not care if they hurt someone.

I am at a loss as how to communicate an update to my order where I purchased thousands of dollars of rugs. I have called, left messages and emailed but no one responds.

Over the last year I purchased 3 large Persian rugs from Rugsource for my house. Delivery was quick and painless, and I have been very happy with the quality. I really haven't found any other online store with the selection, quality and prices here, and will definitely come here the next time I need a high quality Persian rug.

We are very pleased with our purchase. After deliberating for about 3 days, my husband and I finally decided on a rug. I had a couple of questions, so I called - the phone was answered on the second ring by a real person and my questions answered. I placed our order mid-day Wednesday and the rug arrived on Friday afternoon. The carpet is clean and in excellent shape. The colors are very true. We were a bit skeptical about purchasing a rug online and hoped it would be OK and it certainly was. Do not fear purchasing a carpet on line from RugSource.

I'd give you five stars for the excellently designed website but it's SO SLOW! So very slow to load the next page or photo. You can buy better, faster hosting so everyone can see your fine rugs without giving up part way through.

After seeing a rug online, I called Rug Source for the exact measurement of the. It turned out it was rug t too large for my space but customer Service took the time to search their inventory for an alternative rug that fits perfectly...ordered a second rug as well. The colors from the website are very accurate, the quality as stated, delivery as promised..very happy with both rugs. Without hesitation I would buy more rugs and have already recommend others to work with this company.
