I actually spent some time trying to understand the specificity of this company, but it turned out to be something I needed. When I was moving out to another town, I understood that I should've moved out using a rent car, but had no idea what to do with my own car. So here it goes to these guys who arranged car shipment quickly, without any serious hassle. Yeah, I asked a lot of questions, but they have eventually helped me to ship my car. It came quite fast, so thanks, guys!
Not a legitimate company. They were running two days late picking up my car so I tried to cancel per their contracted cancellation policy and they refused to cancel. I disputed the transaction in an effort to stop them from picking it up. They picked it up anyway, essentially stealing it, before I could get a hold of the person who was releasing it to them. They then demanded cash to give it back to me. They are basically common thieves. Also, my car arrived filthy, with nearly flat tires and a dead battery.
Paid additional $300 to have vehicle shipped after initial payment. Vehicle was picked up 5 days later then previously agreed upon, driver said vehicle was too dirty to do a proper inspection on, which vehicle was detailed 2 days before and not driven after wash. Driver also made false claims saying vehicle had over 100 lbs of cargo in it as well as above window line and asked for an extra $150. All cargo was weighed before loaded into vehicle at 83Lbs, and all cargo was properly stowed.
Driver missed pickup date three times. Driver did not provide delivery date or time. Driver arrived at delivery location without prior phone call, unannounced, unexpected and after business hours. Demanded someone immediately take delivery or driver would drop car on the street and go out of state to next pickup/delivery. Completely unprofessional and unsatisfactory experience, start to finish. Otherwise, it was fine.
The Website gave a Quote but the rep called and increased the quote and said that the Website is wrong. It is not right to show a lower cost on the Website
I will not recommend roadrunner as shipper for any car as you are only broker from Albany NY and careless about answering phone calls when pickup times and delivery times are NEVER confirmed and your mark-up is 300 more.

My vehicle was picked up 2 days after the date I had selected for pickup. Drop off was was fast, however I was not informed until the day before that I would need cash to pay the driver. This was after 5 on a holiday (July 4th). I was informed that my vehicle would be dropped off in the morning leaving me with minimal time to get the cash. The experience was very stressful and the driver was rude.
When I submitted my quote, I asked for an "enclosed quote". When I went to reserve it, it's not until you get to the reservation and change the drop down that you get the "REAL PRICE" which is $492 additional to the first page quote emailed to me. This set up is deceptive. I have proceeded to make my reservation; however, I will exercise my right to write another review, favorable or not based on the rest of my experience.
Unimpressive at best, despite good service from the carrier. Very slow to arrange carrier initially. Asked for a premium to original quote to arrange something sooner. No online tracking.
pick up date is very important, and i have not been able to get ANY info from representative, or site before placing my order. so i will have to place and hope the pick up happens in the time window i have. no later than jan. 6th.
You have an 800 number for after hours contact and no one calls you back. Its a weekend and i dont knowcif i have to drive 4.5 hrs to meet a driver.

A person assigned to deliver my vehicle did bring the vehicle to Northeast Ohio. He never delivered it directly to my house as was scheduled per Roadrunner. He called on July 4 stating that he had my vehicle and that if I wanted it I had to come pick it up where he left it. He stated he was going out of the country and will not be back for three weeks. Therefore, if I wanted my car I would have to come and get it. I did point out that Roadrunner guarantee was to drop it off at my house. He started to yell at me. He was extremely rude and confrontational and stated that he was not able to do this because he had to be at the airport that evening. I therefore had to get my 19-year-old daughter and drive approximately one hour to a drop off location for the car which was not in a safe neighborhood and was basically a deserted parking lot . I paid top dollar to Roadrunner, and got terrible service. Thank God I was able to retrieve my car. After finally getting in touch with Roadrunner, there was NO adjustment to my bill for this horrible incomplete service. I will NEVER use them again!
After completing an online quote, I would like to keep the experience online only. An agent continued to call after telling him 1) I was waiting on military orders to confirm booking and 2) I was waiting for my new debit card to come in the mail in order to give him a number to be on file. He did not listen and still continued to call. I understand he needs to be persistent to make a sale. However, if he calls one more time and doesn't listen to what I have to say, I will not hesitate to book with another company.
You guys took prohibitively long tonassign a driver and confirm pickup so I took the business to Montway.

I was quoted 665 for a rate and then it jumped up to 765 when I called in. I don't understand why you would say one quote and then when I called charge 100 dollars more.
The pickup of my car was not on the date it was promised though it was communicated two weeks before. No one communicated on the delay. Need to call multiple times to get an answer on why it is taking long?
When they get someone tonpuckup my car they jacked up the price by $200. It cost another $250 as I have to rent a car till it was delivered. Not a pleasant experience at all.
Little communication and value beyond the web site. They appeared to be only a broker (middle man) of services. Driver was paid a fraction of what I paid.
Road Runner was one of 4 companies we requested pricing from.
They were not the lowest nor were they the highest however we did have 2 people that used RR and referred them to us.
The booking was quite easy and smooth and no money was exchanged until the carrier was confirmed. Confirming the carrier assignment is where our concern began.
We booked a month in advance of the confirmed pick up date. We timed the pickup date for before moving across country and the delivery date for after arriving at our new location. We expressed that there were flight schedules and we would like the the car picked up by 1/11/18 and delivered not before 1/17/18.
As we got closer to the pickup date and had no carrier assignment we grew concerned and contacted Booking both by email and phone. Unfortunately there was never a reply back. On the few occasions that we were able to hold the phone line long enough to speak to someone all they could tell us was that it was pending and marked urgent.
The car was picked up 12 days later on 1/22/18 which was the same day that the carrier was finally assigned. However another issue came up. When we booked the transport we asked if the payment due on delivery could be made by Treasurers Check and if it should be made out to Roadrunner for the balance due as shown on the invoice. After asking several times with no reply we decided to bring a Treasures Check made out to Roadrunner for the invoice balance due so as to be prepared. When the carrier was confirmed we then learned that the initial deposit was less than we were originally told making the balance due on delivery greater. Also, the check needed to be made out to the actual carrier and not Roadrunner. Needless to say a new check was needed - an inconvenience for us that came at an extra cost of $50.00.
The car was delivered a bit earlier than expected - one week later without any issues.
Bottom line - Poor communication. Being a car, personal property, the owners want to be made to feel comfortable not anxious about how their property is being cared for. An improvement would be to have better communication including payment details even if simply to advise that they have not forgotten about your booking.
The website was easy to use. All of the staff we interacted with were courteous. Everything was going well with our experience until the weekend before our car was to be picked up. We received a call stating that there wasn't a driver working on our scheduled pick up day which meant our car needed to be picked up a day later than scheduled. This was not an option for us because we were already scheduled to be on a plane at the time they could pick up the car. Again, the staff was accommodating and polite on the phone, but we had to cancel our airport hotel reservation (non-refundable) and stay at a different hotel further from the airport that would allow us to leave our cars for the driver. This again increased our cost because the hotel did not have a shuttle available. We received no verification that our car had been picked up, and didn't hear anything until 2 days before our car was to arrive. Again, communication was an issue. Our driver said he would arrive Wednesday to bring us our cars, but Wednesday came and went with no notification. The driver called us Thursday morning to say he had our cars and that he didn't unload them Wednesday night due to the rain. This is understandable, but it would have been nice to know the cars had arrived. A nice thing is that the driver arrived almost 2 days earlier than the original dispatcher had promised. He was also very kind and professional.

After I place an order (R*******) and gave an credit card info yesterday (7/8), I had a question so that I tried to contact your company several times but nobody answer the phone nor replied my e-mail. It was frustrating experience. The problem was solved so I tried to sign the contract but I could not open the e-mail anymore, so I am starting over again hope I will not double charged.
