Hi, I bought this product. It did not work for YouTube and only gives me errors for Amazon Prime. I have only gotten a few lame excuse emails from their support saying they are looking into the problem, but nothing else. This has gone one for over a month. I have asked for a refund, but no reply. Seems to be a rip-off. Buyer beware.
First I'd like to say it appears riptiger is no longer supported. I sent 3 emails to get a license code and haven't heard from them. The program isn't worth the money it doesn't download certain video. You are required to purchase an upgrade to be able to download videos of certain formats. I also don't like the way they have done their license code. If you are like me every so often I have to reinstall my OS because I test a lot of different software and not all of the software is removed. Each time you install riptiger it requires a new license code which you have to get from riptiger who is now no longer providing these codes.
I paid for month subscription and yet that have been billing my the past 3 months. Nowhere on their site does it say that it is recurring and nowhere on their site does tell you how to cancel. I have emailed them several times (there is no phone number), and have yet to hear back from them. There is other Video Capture software that is just as good and more honest with their business practices.
Rip Tiger once worked, around 2013. Then it became more erratic. It would work only on IE and only once, etc. Since 2014 it has been a piece of junk and a waste of time. All of the updates, etc take time restart stuff... and never work.
Good program that automatically captures any video I watch simultaneously while browsing it from any web streaming websites, including YouTube, Hulu, Vimeo, DailyMotion, Google Videos, MetaCafe, Yahoo Videos and many other. RipTiger works fast at the background, while I'm surfing the web, thus it's very convenient. It also converts the downloaded file to a variety of video formats, so no need to use other converter or program to watch/listen to the downloaded file on other device than PC. I'm also very satisfied with their tech support: guys at RipTiger team reply fast to my queries, provide good assistance (which is very much appreciated).
Purchased Riptiger but it will not download any videos on my Win10 PC. Have now tried send mail to their support team and never get a reply. Program RIPTIGER is a rip off and I want my money back. Support- What Support?
I purchased Rip Tiger Ultimate for an older computer I was using. I have since gotten a new computer with Windows 10. I tried to install Rip Tiger using the codes associated with my Rip Tiger Ultimate previously purchased. Initially I received a response thanking me for purchasing the software. The next time I tried to access the program, I saw that I was using the trial version. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times, but I could not correct the problem. I contacted Rip Tiger Support a number of times, but have not gotten help.
I have used RipTiger for years and Support USED to be good. They are no longer! I have requested four times (over three weeks) for a new code and they still have not responded. RipTiger Support PROVIDES NO SUPPORT!
