Glad I found this site, I worked for this company as a CSR for 12 weeks and YES ITS TRUE MOST PEOPLE WHO WORK THERE KNOWINGLY SHARE CREDIT CARD INFO OF CUSTOMERS... DO NOT GET CAUGHT
I gave them my $60, studied the game, bid on a small item, a $100 voucher at 60 cents a bid on quibid, burned through all of my $60 in vouchers and then they posted that the item sold for $8.94.

The Buy Now feature offers you the chance to purchase any product at any time during the auction and for up to 2 hours after the auction ends. By utilizing the Buy Now feature, an investment of real bids never has to go to waste. Any ‘real’ bids you place in an auction will be discounted off of the Value Price.
Below is an example of how your discount Buy Now price is calculated:
Value Price: $100.00
Discount: Real Bids Placed x Bid Price: 100 x $0.60 = $60.00
Buy Now Price: $100 - $60 = $40.00 + Shipping/Taxes (if applicable)

Regarding the $8.94 that the item sold for. All auctions start at $0.00 dollars. When a participant places a bid, the price goes up one cent increments. Once the auction ends, the winner will pay the auction price.

They take $60 upfront. You have to sit and click your mouse repeatedly to bid. You are not allowed to just enter a maximum bid, you must be online and click every time someone outbids you. When the auction ends, you lose all of the money you used to bid! Even if you didn't win--they keep the money EVERYONE spends to bid! What a racket! You might as well be a brain dead moron just clicking over and over and over... I stopped when I realized I did not want to participate anymore, and asked for the remaining balance of my money. They removed me, but kept the money I hadn't even used to bid. Now, I can't get on the sight again to ask for the money back... STAY FAR AWAY FROM QUIBID! +++UPDATE+++After they responded to my review, I AGAIN sent an email asking for my refund. I never heard from them. They are liars and they steal your money.

So, QUIBIDS, win stuff cheap, right I don't think so. Sure maybe some cheap dime store jewelry, or some junk you will never use, but anything worth having, NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. I joined, payed the $60 for the 100 bids, watched some TV's sell for pennies about 5 times so I tried. Minute I started the bids went through the roof. By the time you buy enough bids, use them on an auction and win a TV you could go to your local WAL-MART and just buy one. TOTAL waist of time and money. Stick with eBay or amazon, at least there you have a shot and you don't have to buy bids that you will loose if you don't win.The money you spend on quibids to win something and then pay for the item you won could have been saved and used to buy it on eBay I should have read these reviews first.My bad for being stupid.Don't be stupid STAY AWAY.
Total scam never realized the immediate debit of $60.00 would happen. Yes the fine print explains it, however the structure of joining is very deceptive and is carefully worded in their favor. If any litigators are reading this you better act fast since I am sure a Class Action suit is in the works. This website will cease to exist within two years. I tried to cancel the $60.00 scam charge within 10 minutes to no avail. These guys are very slick and know exactly what they are doing. Beware.

These bids are pre-paid and placed in your Bids Account. Each time you place a bid, your Bids Account is deducted one bid. Once a bid is placed the auction price will go up in one cent increments. A maximum of 20 seconds is also added to the timer every time someone bids. This gives enough time for someone else to make the decision to bid if they're interested. This is similar to the “Going once... Going twice... SOLD!” approach of traditional auctions.
If you are the top bidder when the timer reaches zero, you win! You will then pay the ending auction price as well as the cost of shipping. If you do not win, you lose your bids that have been placed; however, we offer a "Buy Now" feature on all auctions. I have had a great experience with them until today, I have been a member for years and have won a lot, maybe not high dollar items, but have alway been happy. Today I went to sign in and my IP address has been banned, they have my info credit cards etc and I can't access my account at all very not happy!

I was on the site for about 2 months and won several items. I spent a couple hundred dollars on bids and was really loving it. Suddenly almost every auction was blocked. When I contacted Quibids about it they said that I was too good and that my auctions were limited to make things fair for others. That should not be legal. I refuse to do anything further on their site. My overall review is that it's great for about a month, then when they find out they are not making enough money on you they block you. They should be banned.
I love their commercials. Real buyers who got steal deals on Quibids.com. Right... You could maybe fool people in 1995 but this is 2014 and it's clear from these reviews on sitejabber and many more this company is shady.
First off, this place is NOT a scam. All Penny Auctions operate like this; you buy your bids up front, then you bid and the auction goes up by a penny... hence the name Penny Auction. This type of thing is not for everyone, but I enjoy it. It's like a game, but I can also win cool stuff! Anything I have ever won from this site has arrived and it has been exactly what I purchased. I knocked off a star because I find that I'm not having as much success as not only I would like, but like I did in my first week or so. It's almost like they made it easy for me to win the beginning and now they're making it harder. Over all, I'd recommend this site though.
First I start by saying that YES, they mislead people into thinking we are signing up for free and that the reason we need to give a cc# is because we will be bidding on merchandise. They have nothing that tells you that you're about to pay upfront for a package of bids. Then people think they do not have to purchase the item less they win unknowingly spending the money $0.60 each bid not even knowing that is their real money from their acct. So very misleading. On the other hand I did get charged for bids when signing up and contacted customer service via their online chat and got ahold of a Jake in seconds who graciously and politely refunded my money and closed out my acct. I was nervous that the money wouldn't show up in my account but it did a little over 24 hours later. Also they have a customer service # you can call and talk to a live person. Just a side note. They only refund what you don't use. If you unknowingly bid you are out that money because it actually goes through a process of teaching you before you are supposed to begin bidding.

Somebody is doing really well on Quibids, just not the customers. I gave it a try and was surprised to get charged $60 when I thought the first hundred bids were free. Ha! Then I sat back and watched for awhile. I saw the same bidder names on... anything that was up for auction. I believe the term for these bidders is "shills." They promise a lot and deliver squat. I advise to stay away as you'll get "taken" every time.

While placing single bids in an auction is the primary way to stay in the game, at certain times you may need to step away from the bidding process. While using the Bid-O-Matic does not guarantee a win, the Bid-O-Matic feature is a helpful tool that can bid for you while you take a short break. You can set the Bid-O-Matic to place between 3 to 25 bids at a time. As long as you have bids remaining, the Bid-O-Matic will bid in order to keep you as the highest bidder in the current auction. If you run out of bids in your current Bid-O-Matic, you can re-load the Bid-O-Matic with up to 25 more bids or continue placing single bids.

My research indicates that any rating above 1 star is a "shill" for the scam site known as quibids. Stay away, FAR AWAY from this illegitimate scammer. Hey QUIBIDS, if you think that this is slander then sue me as I'd love to put you out of business.

I would go lower than 1 star. I didn't realize they were debuting my bank account for $60.00 when I joined. I immediately contacted live chat and was told they would cancel and refund my money immediately. They cancelled, but did not refund the $60.00. Now live chat isn't available to me, there is no phone # given! And I'm unable to email them because my account was deactivated. If this isn't a scam, I don't know what is! It appears bad people operate this site. Beware!

This site is a scam! Stay away!
The latest attempt to lure people to their site is posting items on craigslist at low price and when you reply to the ad, they say it's sold and give you link to quibids.com where they got it for cheap.
When I caught on how to win, I kept being blocked from participating. So when you are winning you are LIMITED to 12 items in any 28 day period. At which time you are blocked for 8 days. Suddenly I'm being blocked repeatedly anywhere between 16 hours to 3 days. I had 4 open auctions going when I got blocked. So I lost at least $70 in active bids. When I write CS I get a canned response. Days later I cancel my account, they tell me I've got my refund. Guess who doesn't have a refund?
I fell for the luring ad for something I had been looking for online. Saw it for cheap on here, thinking it was a "regular" auction site and I could sign up, then bid on things and only pay for what I won. Yeah, I was stupid and didn't read the fine print. For $60 I won a single bid, for something I didn't really want or need, but I wanted to see if it was actually possible to win ANYTHING. So, I paid $60 for a $20 item. Not going back.
I also think this is a scam. I bid on something thinking I would not lose my $60.00, as I could buy it in the end. After losing the bid, I purchased the Samsung tablet. The price had gone to $114. From $176. And that is what I thought I was buying it for. You have 2 hours to decided if you don't want to lose your bid money, by purchasing the item What they don't tell you is the purchase price is $176., not the "buy now price" of $114. I feel I got cheated for $60. And when I called them after seeing my credit card account, they could give a ####. Do not go there! I could have paid $25.00 less than Amazon. When people say they purchased soothing for a small amount, they probably are not including the $. 60 PER BID!
This is a scam and should be shut down. They are theifs who steal money just for signing up. I was charged $60.00 dollars just to register and then couldn't cancel to get my money back. Sent several emails and went unanswered. Then got on with live chat with Jacquelyn who says she has closed my account and refunded my money. This is a scam to take money from people upon signing up.
