I don't think I would have ever been able to reconcile the last 10 years of my financial portfolio. I fell behind reconciling 14 cash and investment accounts over the last 10 years. I no longer had electronic OFX access to historical account transactions, but I had 10 years worth of PDF statement files. Entering these statements into Quicken manually would have taken months if not a year. I found ProperConvert with a Google search and I gave it a try. I was amazed. This utility is nothing short of magic. I was able to bulk convert years of PDF statements by multiselecting years of PDF statements and then proofing the results in ProperConvert before automatically importing them into Quicken. Thanks ProperSoft!
No longer works well with ANY bank statements. It imports items NOT EVEN IN THE STATEMENTS! AND doesn't import other regular transactions. It does the same with other standard bank statements. WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO YOUR SOFTWARE?! It used to work so well! Won't be using it or recommending it to CPAs and other bookkeeping entities. Using your software now is more time consuming than manual entry.
My credit card's bank changed and no longer downloads into Quicken. The PrioperSoft program converts CSV files so they can be imported without all that typing. Not as smooth as the direct download, (doesn't use my memorized payee list to assign categories, etc.) but still saves me a lot of work. Took me three tries to get it right the first time, but now it is fine.
This does the QIF to QFX conversion very easily in just a few clicks. I am using a 2006 iMac and have no issues. The trial version will continue to do 10 transactions at a time but this became a hassle and I couldn't find any other Mac program that did this so easily. Four stars because the price seems a little high for a fairly simple program.
Thank you for your review, Curtis
I had several years worth of PDFs from my bank that I needed to get into Quicken. Anything I tried was either going to be quite expensive or quite cumbersome. Then I found this program. It's so simple to use, and so fast. Many thanks to the technical support group. I bought the wrong version initially and they were very gracious and letting me get exactly what I needed at no additional charge. Really responsive to my email heard back within minutes. If you need to get things into Quicken or any other financial software program, this is the suite of conversion packages that you need.
Thank you for your review, Susan
Deceptively simple interface allows conversion to be well tailored for your account names and version of Quicken. Full disclosure, I only used it for Quicken 2014
Thank you for your review, John
The product works great, it worked for exactly what I needed it to do. If I could suggest 1 thing that they could do to help those of us that are rookies to this new technology is to post a number that was easy to call for support questions.
Hello Mike, I checked the support records and your refund request for incorrect order was processed on the same day you placed it.
Had difficulty getting program to work and Sergiy walked me through the process. Turns out I chose the incorrect tool.
Thank you for your review, Gartrell
Converts most csv documents, but sometimes fails to recognize some characters or values. I spend more time than I'd like preparing the csv document to conform to the conversion software. I'd like it better if the CSV2QBO could learn some variations that can occur in csv.
Thank you for your review, Doug
I have used the service to convert from PDF to CSV to QBO and QFX (and vice versa.) Works well for banks not offering native downloads, or where the bank's data is formatted incorrectly.
Thank you for your review, Anthony.
First of all I must say support is fantastic. I submitted a question on the weekend, I'm not even a customer, and the reply came back very quickly.
I did find that QBO files are only supported back to 2016 so my 2011 version needs to use IIF files. OK, fine. I tried the Bank2IIF. I like it, let me be clear, it WORKS.
There are just a couple of items that need to be tweaked.
Mapping: Need to be able to save a set of mappings when converting a bunch of files. I seem to only be able to do ONE. And save them session to session.
Account: It would be nice to have a mapping of vendor to account so that you only have to do it once and then all the files imported would be the same account. That said, it would be GREAT if it used the QB APIs and went INTO your QB File and gave you a drop down list of the accounts and maybe (this is reaching) defaulted to the last account used for that vendor.
Target the product toward repetitive processes, not one offs.
Thank you for your review, Michael.
I did not need to invoke customer support from ProperSoft
Thank you for your review, Juergen
It works great on some PDF file but on other it gave an error message that it couldn't recognize ANY data. But a competing program recognize it just fine.
Thank you for your review, Allison
This software is rally usefull for me! Its helps to make tasks quickly.
I dont received the InVoice, only the license. If I Recevie, I change the rating for 5 stars
Hello Joao, please check your email for the invoice.
Pretty satisfied with the conversion program. However, would have expected it to convert the vendor name files along with the amounts and dates. Still, am saving keystrokes.
Thank you for your review, Anna
Convert transactions from one format to another and import into accounting software. For example, convert CSV to QBO, or PDF to QBO or Excel to QFX, or OFX to CSV. Make your transactions importable into Quickbooks, Quicken, MS Money, Xero, Sage One and others.
ProperSoft creates accounting tools from 2008. Our tools help you convert your CSV, Excel, PDF, QIF, QBO, OFX, QFX, TXT files into a format your accounting software expects (like Quickbooks expects QBO, IIF, QBJ, Quicken expects QFX, QIF, etc.). Visit https://www.propersoft.net/ for more details.
