I met Dave 5 years ago through his snow shoveling business, and he insisted on giving me an inflated quote for the roof replacement. He believes that an underlay is not necessary for a roof. After contacting the shingle manufacturer, without an underlay the manufacturer's warranty is void. Dave conveniently does not tell you this. Instead he pushes his warranty. After thoroughly doing my research, I came across a previous employer of Dave's who suggested that I stay away from Power Roofing because of their low quality and problematic work. Dave uses pressure techniques to try to get you to hire him. He even went up on the roof and destroyed what shingles I had which caused a leak. He stated that the roof was old and what did I expect. He constantly hounded me that the roof had to be replaced by him because he was the best roofer. Dave is so full of himself that he believes all his lies. I eventually, hired a reputable roofer to do the job at a much lower and reasonable price, with a better warranty, and as a bonus I was provided an underlay free of charge. Dave really knows how to run a racket and eventually will get caught in his web of lies. Run don't walk away from Power Roofing!
A few years back I hired Dave at Power Roofing. I now have a leaky roof damaging my kitchen ceiling. I contacted Power roofing about the needed repairs since they have a 6 year workmanship guarantee. I was promised the repairs would be done free of charge. Six months later and Dave still hasn't done anything other than repeatedly tell me "this week".
When the problem was first noticed I contacted a few other contracting companies for estimates and opinions. They all told me the job was done poorly in the first place. Power roofing charges a high rate in which I expected quality work. Instead I get problems and a failure to honor the guarantee. I believe Power Roofing will eventually get the repair done, just don't let Dave do the job and if they assign him, ask for someone else even if you have to wait longer.
