I guess, as the movie title suggests, this is "As Good As It Gets".
Pretty good site if you want to play a little bit of online poker. Tournaments are plentiful and you can get a lot of enjoyment for small buy-ins so that you don't risk a pile of cash. Not sure I really TRUST online poker when all is said and done.
Easy to navigate, screens aren't hard on the eyes (table backgrounds and such).
The FREE version is www.pokerstars.net but I would think that is a total waste of time.
I have recently been playing on PS and wanted to withdraw. Once you go into the withdraw tab, it notes you are not verified and to send banking information over. I sent it over 3 times for it to get denied and came on chat where you advised I would need to verify 1st and sent another time. I sent information to this link to not get a response in over 5 days. Since moving to Ontario only PS has really fallen off and I could see this closing shop soon as their games available is bad, customer service is bad and overall experience is horrible.
Pretty nice place to relax and gamble a little. There are always a game for any stake size. Tournaments, ring games etc. As a result alot of sharks. It's pretty hard to win systematically there. Game might become a big pain if you want to be a regular profit player. Good luck.)
Action 5/5

Played a tournament game for 4 hours, got myself up to 100 x the blinds then sat and waited for very good hands. Got kk got beat by a which is fair enough lost 10 k then 5 hands later got kk again got beat to 87 they hit 87 lost half my stack then 4 hands later got a a went all in got called by q 10 off suit they hit runner runner for flush with hearts. Been playing real life poker now for 15 years and that just doesn't happen in short amount of plays. The site is a disgrace and favours big stacks. Will be taking out the rest of my money and won't be playing again. Thanks jokerstars
As far as playing on the game. It is now only play money for the U.S. but that is okay for me because I only ever did use the play money feature.
I like the playing of the game, I re-installed it after a few years of not playing it. Now it is more relaxed and there is not so many players that raise and go all in, all the time, because it is play money. They usually seem to treat each hand as if it is real money.
The problem with Pokerstars.com is how they handle problems the members might have.
Bad customer service.
Outside of problems someone might have had with a deal or hand, the only other problems would be with purchases.
I had a problem with buying play chips. You can buy more play money, which is ironic, but can get you playing in the bigger play money games. I picked the $1.99 package, which would be 350 thousand worth of play money. It instantly declined my card. I checked with my bank. They received no charge request. I followed all the tips from pokerstars, I updated all my personal information so they could check that with the card information. Declined it instantly again. I checked with the bank. No charge request from Pokerstars.
So I contacted pokerstars and explained it. They immediately said it was my card issuer and I should contact them. I explained, AGAIN, that I already did and it never got to my bank. They forwarded it to their payment department and someone there immediately told me, on autopilot it was my card issuer and that I should contact them. I told them again, like the forwarded email already explained, that all that had been done and the bank never got it.
No reply. I re-contacted the first Pokerstars help department, that the payment dept. was no help. A day later someone from the sales dept. there, said to basically not contact Pokerstars about that, and to contact my card issuer. Or how they put it exactly; "If you are having issues purchasing Play Money chips, you will need to
Contact your payment provider directly for further assistance, and not
PokerStars."
This is actually a problem a lot of businesses are having. The employees don't know to deal with problems with their merchant programs. Cards are getting declined and they don't know what to do, and the default response is to tell the buyer to contact their bank. Unfortunately they make it worse by coming off like they don't care, and are not listening.
They just lost the U. S for real money purchases, and yet they tell buyers, they are not interested in helping and it is their problem.
Poker Stars is pathetic. I've never seen a site have to go through as much so called maintenance as them, and always asking to Update the "NEW" version to your pc. Then when you open it...NOTHING changed
If you have 5% equity you may as well have 50... the amount of bad beats and coolers is absurd. I was up to 500m chips and since then the game has had a vendetta against me. I turned the nuts earlier just to lose to a back door flush draw on the river. I think the software started taking my tilt in chat in consideration. Dog s*** game. Do NOT waste real money on this s***. Go play Bovada!
What an unbelievably terrible experience. I deposited $1,000 to my account and it got immediately locked while blocking me from logging in. It took me a month of constant emails back and forth to them and supplying my ID and banking information 4 different times before I finally got a refund. There are lots of other places to go to vs dealing with this kind of service.
These people are thieves that is why they set up in the lawless nation called the isle of man. It is rigged, even the play money tables are rigged. Oh but if you lose they will happily sell you more play money. LOL. Someone should put all those involved with this scam in prison.
Not only game graphics are kind of poor and you suspect to see a bot on every table, but they can also lock your account for no reason. I have recently deposited 100 euros and wanted to withdraw them after about 4 days but guess what. They locked my account. They said I haven't gambled enough and kept requesting me documents after documents. They wouldn't unlock it either. My advice: Stay far away! These guys are nothing more than scammers looking to get a hold of your money.
Play on this site for a little bit and you will realize that 90% of the time the 5% out will hit. Mathematically it's impossible but over and over and over again. It's a joke.
You see the same players on the poker cash tables every time you play and the cards are heavily stacked towards them. It's not a coincidence. PokerStars have become greedy and the programming should be looked into and regulated.
I deposited $400 twice on pokerstars, I received email that the amount was declined, and it was deducted from my card. I contacted The customer support and was not helpful. They said the security team will contact me,but no one did!
And the funny thing they accepted $20 deposit. But the $800 disappeared!the bank said that pokerstars received the money. Shame on you
This site is f joke and do not spend one cent on this site. They are a whole bunch of cooks and just being there to screw people and cheat on peoples money
This site is so rigged and needs to be shut down. It's there ripping people off and stealing money.its not legit poker site at all. Do not buy any fake chips from this site.
PokerStars lite is a joke site. A scam and completely rigged. Don't spend your money to buy the fake chips.
PokerStars is a scam. This site needs to be shut down. It has so many bad reviews and don't give this site a single penny. It's not a legit site.
The system is so rigged. The site charges real money for the fake chips. When you win the chips you will not be able to get the cash back. What a rip off system.
Poker stars owns fulltilt poker and i have not been paid for the cash i had there. Poker stars now sells play chips and i have complained about cheaters and they blow me off. There's a guy who plays two seats at the same table and reraises himself when you're caught in the middle.the" integrity of the game" staff said they'd look into it a month ago but it continues to this day.don't spend your money there
When you're losing money they work fine but once you start making money all of a Suddon they lock your account and say it's for verification. So this ap only works if you're losing money not to win it it's a complete scam. Seriously don't use it.
It's funny when I go to casino I can leave the casino with $4500 profit $1200 profit but at PokerStars I put $10 $100 or $500. I never $#*!ing win this site is a big scam. You will never win they're all bots are, which is a big problem in my view as a 10-20 players at a casino this site do not make sense no matter what you try, you will never win
I complained about their random generator last year and I have been singled out as a red neck, I guess, I have been loosing hands that the odds of losing are so great that getting hit by lighting would be eaiser. I continues until this day. I know there isn't muich I can do, but I have a large account and don't want to throw it away. It's only play money, but it's the principle
Pokerstars blocks your withdrawal to steal your money. They do not provide the bonus they offer. Beware of their scam. You'll be on the road that's how much they'll push to into playing. No gaming ethics, no responsibility. They are not even letting me withdraw my money. They blame me for losing when they clearly didn't let me withdraw. They said if I'll withdraw my money, they'll confiscate my winnings and bonus. And I never received the bonus as promised. They forced me into playing by putting fear of taking away my winnings and bonus. I got scared and tried to withdraw my deposit of 1278$, they refused that under threat of confiscation. Now I have 100.05$ and they are not letting me withdraw my money and have closed my account (even though i want that) but they are not returning my money. I want my money back, and don't want to be associated with them.
The site is bull$#*!... I am used to playing poker and bad beats are a part of the game... but when you can count 22 bad beats in a row it is purely bull$#*!... I personally think many of the profiles are actually fake and they will call a full all in with hands like 5 3 and win time after time... DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY
