What a bullsh*t site.
September 10, 2017

Wow, talk about a rigged site! I have never had so many bad beats in my life. I believe this is rigged to favor the idiots who actually spend money here. Out of 10 hands where I went all in with the better hand I got beat on 8 of them on the river... calling BS here!

PlayWPT is less obviously rigged than most "free" online poker sites. In comparison to sites like replaypoker.com where most hands are won by flushes, on playwpt you will see a majority of hands won with high card, one pair, two pair.

However, there are frequently players with names beginning with WPTGuest_ followed by a hex string. These players seem to have incredible luck.

You judge for yourself. But NEVER EVER join replaypoker.com - their site is criminally rigged or their random number generator is massively flawed.

Dress code
April 22, 2023

Your players dress like bums, install a dress code, no face covering with shirts, no sucking on your shirt etc. Clean up your players and be a class act.

Been playing on line poker for 15 yrs and thought I had seen it all until Donk club wpt! Beware of the massive herds of donks in there! Especially in the points free rolls but even in the larger cash games. Also the site is not regulated and the site will not acknowledge there dealing program is 100% random? I mostly play in there now for laughs and for now I let them rob me each month 28 bucks. Whether or not its rigged the biggest issue is the site attracts the worse donks on the planet. I mostly play to destroy these idiotic spazz donks.

So I read alot of these reviews. Lots of pissed off people. Here's what I say about it. The run free tournaments evert 10 minutes. They offer a variety of Texas hold-em games from limit to no limit and from standard to omaha hi-low (I'd like to see more of those). But you have to understand that these tournaments have to go fast. So whatever shuffle they use pops out alot of winners! Unlike a tournament at a casino, the shuffling is artifical, it has to be. They run 144 or so tournaments in a 24 hour period. At the casino, a pair almost always wins, not here.
So relax and play for entertainment.

WPT Programmjng.
April 1, 2024

My comment is for the WPT programming broadcasts. It is not for any other platforms. I'm tired of seeing women playing poker. I'm tired of seeing your ad nauseam commercials, interviews with the No-name bbpoker players. I'm tired of getting background and history of them. Ad nauseam, it drags out the program and fails to give us competition, competition, competition. Everything else is worthless, uninteresting and irrelevant. Also the numerous assistants on the program with low cut neck lines, giant bosoms flaunting their almost porn apparel is irrelevant, uninteresting, and not pertinent to what the program is about.
Thank you.

All I have read here are reviews claiming that PlayWPT is rigged so you have to purchase more "gold" with real money. I have been playing for about a month, have not spent one single real cent, and am up to about 42 million. Are there bad beats and suck outs? Yep. Are there also in live poker? Yep. I will allow that a lot of players take reckless chances because it is not real money, but that fact can be exploited to your benefit. Maybe all of you crying "foul" just need to learn how to play poker.

This game is rigged for miracle suck outs. One thing you need to do while playing is to determine which of the other players is the "chosen one" for that particular game who gets all the miracle results. Never get into an all-in showdown with that player no matter what cards you are holding. Once you get down to the final 2 with the "chosen one" player, the only way I've found to beat them is to never fall for great looking hands with an all-in bet but go slow and steady. Every once in awhile you realize YOU are the chosen one too... It's clearly not real poker but trying to outwit the "rigging" of the system can be sometimes interesting. NEVER spend money on it..

DOES NOT RESEMBLE POKER
October 27, 2020

It rewards a bad call every single time no matter how ridiculous the odds are. Constantly beat by opponents with an 8%! 2% chance of winning and once even a less than 2%. Everyone hits the flop. The worse a person plays the more they win. And the absolute worse part is the players "truly believe" they are playing poker, as you can see by some of these reviews. The reason they are legal where other sites are not is because it is a "LOTTERY" no skill needed or of any use. Read the fine print. You will have to beat 500 players to win $20 it's obscene to a real poker player. Even if you pay the $150 for the premium package all you get is 2 extra games daily and one is just a qualifier. It's a joke.

The computer is set so that if you don't spend real money on their "sales" to get more chips they will start taking yours away.
I have earned over 300 million chips 3 times only to have the computer see to it that I nearly go broke. No way I could change that much that quickly. I have been playing poker for over 50 years.
Site is a set up scam. If you don't spend real money on their "chip sales" you will go broke.

The betting is terrible at all levels. Constant pre flop raisers who always seem to win with crap. Forcing those who repay for coins to REPAY for coins. Hence it is a scam. Computer players betting, calling, raising with terrible hands and winnings thus making idiots, (I was ONCE) purchase more chips.

Too obvious that most hands are won on the river. My game is if you're betting and all are calling until the river and someone goes in heavy... I know for certain they hit the card they needed on the river, often it fills two or three hands. Crazy winds like 3 Aces 2 Kings you can guarantee that your opponent has four of a kind and got there on the River. I have been playing poker for 60 years and have never seen a Royal Flush and very very rarely four of a kind. I am at 2.4 Million and cannot get further... one bad beat after another, slide down to 2.1 million and work my way back up to 2.4 and again no winds, no matter what. I get either great cards that end in a bad beat or $#*!ty cards that cannot make a hand (3 - 6,2 - 7,2 - 3,4 - 5) usually get eight or tens, $#*! hands with one beauty that often ends in a bad beat. (The more I read this the more it looks like a regular Sat. Night game)

The site has a rigged poker game. You have to buy "gold" with real dollars. It targets the weak hands (with little "gold") and makes them loose with highly improbable hands - repeatedly, so that they buy more fictional "gold"with real dollars, to continue playing. Any real poker player will be able to tell within 5 min. That it is rigged so you loose. Stay far away, you have no chance of winning, and the higher level you play at, the more rigged it is. The site should be banned, sued, and return all money to players.

WPT shenanigans
July 1, 2020

If you lose internet connection due to power loss or temporary internet drop, you lose all your money that you are playing. There is absolutely no way to get it back. Don't use this site... or at least, do not buy any coins to play. A complete rip-off. Secondarily, they use a very high currency rate... i. e. 1.44 for Canadian dollars to U.S. when it should be 1.25. Be very careful with this WPT site.

Software sucks, I get booted in the middle of betting. Their reviews speak for themselves. Pace of play is geared to exhausting chips as quickly as possible. I enjoy playing, but not getting screwed in the middle of a betting hand. The ads suck also. If you click on one you are sent to oblivion.

Stacked against you
September 9, 2018

I'm on there right now and I can't say that it's rigged by the WPT crew or whomever is running the show over there. There's certainly no way to prove that claim. The one thing for sure is the quality of players are not very good. In most "real" poker settings you don't get so many callers and loose aggressive players. So the bottom line is with so many hands in the mix on most hands a solid hand looses it's value. You often get beat by trash. It's the nature of this beast. I'm still playing on the site until my membership is up. As you may know they start you with 500 chips which I was able to build up over a few months. I'll start using my 90,000 tourney points to try to get a seat in one of the WPT events but it's a huge long shot. It is what is. For me it's some entertainment until they make online poker legal again in my state.

If you win, funky stuff starts happening. They start taking your chips without giving you the ability to play?

I dont understand how my "timer" to play a hand runs out before I even get to see my cards? Seriously?

I've tested this with multiple accounts. At first a new account has absurdly good luck and then as you get some chips absurdly bad beats ensue time after time to drain your chips and then induce you to pay more money to get more chips. It's obviously built into the programming model. Stay away.
