PlayWPT uses an algorithm that assures three or four people will be pulled into each game and 90% of the time, the chip leader will miraculously hit an inside straight, a weak flush, or a full boat on the last card. The algorithm is designed to deplete the chips of weaker players so they are forced to spend real money for more phoney chips. If you've ever played real poker, you might have a legit pat hand once every 8 to 12 hands. With PlayWPT, you'll see three to five pat hands every deal. This is the same logic used on Cruise Ships for their automated poker tables. If 60 to 80 percent of the hands are playable, more people stay in, the house gets a bigger rake, and losers rebuy. It's a win/win/win for the house. On PlayWPT, there is no rake but who needs one when every worthless chip is purchased from WPT... with no payback. This is a money-making windfall for PlayWPT.

Every time I start to win a hand someone on the table SITS OUT and I lose my bet and the hand. And the computer goes awry at the same time? It seems to me that you have somebody that has cracked into your game and really made it impossible to gain any ground. When the computer goes crazy it only happens for a short time, only enough so that I have to deposit more money. I love playing poker, but not at the extent of my enjoyment of the game. You need to look into your product, cause you are the only one that lets someone SIT OUT, and get back ito the hand after they see the next card. I wish that happened in Vegas. rbeauty3645@g.mail.com

It should be a tell (pun intended) that this "poker" site has no customer support access, link or even email. The site will frequently, in the middle of a timed hand, blank out and not allow you, as a player to execute a bet or fold. The site has difficutly keeping your account accurate. Obviously, since it is all make believe and one is not wagering real money this is only frustration - but if your intent is to enjoy a simulation of poker - this site will leave you particularly frustrated.

Crap software
August 3, 2019

Slow, freezes in the middle of a hand, uses tons of computer power. And I honestly think they manipulate situations; too many hands where two people have the same cards, or I have two of a suit and three of another suit gets flopped a lot, or three people all have pocket pairs. These situations happen way too frequently.

You can't get 4 of a kind 4 times in a week. You can't see Royal Flushes several times in a month. The odds are rigged if that's happening. I have personally gotten 4 of a kind 4 times in one week and the number of Full Houses that I've lost to in a single game is statistically impossible.

This site is crooked and the only explanation has to be that they get people to buy chips. I *NEVER* buy chips for this cheating website.

Ever.

What are the odds?
March 15, 2022

2 days past I had a full house - drew Q and K and ended up with two more Q and K by the river. Went all in. Lost to somebody with two K in their pocket. What are the odds?

Happened again today. Twice in 3 days. What are the odds?

I see the exact same hands repeating same hole cards same flop same turn and river fairly frequently And if you remember what hands have won and you are in that rotation you will know who wins before the river. There is nothing completely random about the cards the software designers have programmed the hands and the bad beats they are written into each and every hand and if you play the odds you'll loose, the bad beats and drama sell paying memberships to the foolhardy.

November 30, 2017

I got to 700k free and now I am in an incredible loosing streak. When I get a playable hand I loose to miracle draw out. This doesn't happen in the real world for as long as this. Just a scam to make you buy chips.

One word scam
April 21, 2019

I have found doing research the app locks up in the middle of hands its intentional. I played many hands and locks up on me when i seam to have a great hand and ultimately lose the hand. They have done this for years. There answer is the standard bull will pass it on to or developers. If a player is low on chips goes all in they win the hand 99percent of the time. It's not random its a joke worse than a phone scam but they get away with it. There friends at wsop are being sued right now by the state of Washington for fraud on there app.

April 27, 2021

White avatars win 10 to 1 against non white avatars, 2 pairs, 3 of a kind, all in no pairs, runner runner straight or flush. Straight flush, full house, 3 of a kind on the flop, runner runner win, all in no pairs, or pocket pair, 9 out of 10 hands. When they flop 1 pair, 2 pairs, 3 of a kind etc, 9 out of 10 against white avatars, 10 out of 10 bs non white avatars.

Corrupted site
February 8, 2023

WPT global is a Corrupted pokersite. They allow players to work together to cheat others with advantage gaining software. They also break own policies allowing multiple unverified accounts. All round worse pojer experience I have ever had. I would never go back and would recommend against playing here

I began documenting the fakery that borderlines a profiteering racket of misleading claims made by wpt (such as being able to "chat with friends while you play with poker", you will do neither despite the enticing click-bait wpt site).
https://springfieldohiopost.com/media/wpt/world-poker-tour.html
There's more but I've said it all on the site above.
You have been warned. Keep your wallet in your pocket until you investigate about the wpt problems further (try google search "wpt review").
Read it and weep.

Just a JOKE
May 3, 2020

No matter how bored or desperate, DON"T WASTE YOUR TIME! This site is the worst poker site in the world, but I must admit I have not paid a penny to find out. In the free poker WPT every hand hits someone with a big hand. Straights, flushes, full houses, quads, trips, and river cards that hit those scenarios almost every hand. I would say I got my chips in good twenty times and lost 18 of them with ridiculous runner runner, of ace on the river or flush cards on the river etc. It's as if they are trying to teach you a lesson and it's laughable. I've played poker for years and it's not fun at all to see such non random play live of online. It's really like watching cheating albeit no money, but it's no fun at all. WPT is probably that way for money as well, or why would it be different. HORRIBLE!

After playing a lot on this site it becomes very obvious that the deals are not random and that certain players are being favored. I believe it might have to do with they're learn to play site. If you buy lessons they favor you. I've played in a lot of card rooms and have never seen some of the random crap that happens on WPT. Or at least not nearly as often as it happens on WPT.

This site is a complete scam. If you play the "pro" or "elite" tables you have zero chance of getting a fair shake. If you buy chips, go to the lower tables and you get good cards once in a while. If you go to the higher tables, you are clearly playing "AI" bots and you have zero chance of winning. I clearly admit I am not some elite player, but I have played 10's of thousands of hands of holdem at my local casino. If you want a fair shake, play with your buddies, or actually go to the casino and play a fair game. Whoever is in charge of this site, is clearly making a lot of $$. The algorithm is clearly so you lose and buy more "fake chips" My advice is save your money and watch a movie in Netflix. You are not working on your Poker skills on this site. This site is a complete scam. You have been warned.

When you start building on your chips. This game starts giving you the worst hands. Not only do get worst hand but for long periods of time. Then you get setup hands. Only to be edge out by players who won't be buying chips. So it works on washing out buying player chips. With setup hands. Or to get edge out just one card higher. Not only that but favored players get a much higher percentage of better hands. No stress on them. It like a walk in the park for the favor players. Scooping up every chip it can. No stress on the faverd players.
These poker sites are rig. To pull money from the one who get hooked with hopes of playing better poker. Only to be ones of the many lost poker souls in There Poker Graveyard. And other money buying chip sites. Who knows if your playing one of there bots. You buy chips you win for awhile then the table turns and you loose it all. Them knowing you'll come back and buy more
