The owners of this site have no intention of ever giving you your money from the platform. They're happy to give you credit within the platform, but once you try to withdraw it, they will ignore you and never respond to you ever again.

Update #5 - September 6,2024 - 6 weeks later. Multiple follow up requests on this platform. Multiple messages on Telegram. ZERO response. COMPLETELY ghosting me now that I'm trying to withdraw the $900 that is stuck on their platform. This site is an absolute scam. STAY AWAY. You will never see your money again once it's in this platform.

Update #4 - July 29,2024 - Another 2.5 weeks have passed. Still, no response since creating the withdrawal process. No response on Telegram. The middleman seems to have zero intention on refunding the $900 crypto payment that was submitted but never processed due to the seller pulling out. Nearly 3 weeks without response since opening the ticket to withdraw funds.

Update #3 - July 10,2024 - Was able to password reset. Couldn't log out manually, but clearing cookies exposed the forgot password flow, and was able to reset password then. Have now triggered a withdrawal of credits, so hopefully that goes smoothly. Updating review rating for now as their service has picked up, after initial delays

Update #2 - July 9,2024: The Middleman Service appears to have responded to me on the platform, and have added the funds to my account as some kind of credit. However, unable to login as account was flagged for password reset, but I don't have a password as google SSO was used to sign in.

Meanwhile, I continue to receive no response on their Telegram to my follow up messages, and somehow updating this review appears to be the only way to actually chase down a resolution.

Update #1 - July 9,2024: Response to this review contains a link to a forum post with a URL to another post that returns a 404. This has not been resolved. I have not received a refund. I am still waiting for resolution.

I placed an order, submitted payment and then the seller backed out. Since then, PlayerUp middleman has been completely unresponsive. No follow up whatsoever. They seem to have no intention of refunding the money that was already paid to the middleman. It has now been two weeks since the seller canceled the sale and there hasn't been any response to numerous messages regarding refunding my already paid deposit.

- Update (1) - Dont believe in the comment below from the PlayerUp, they did contact me 5 days ago saying that my money would be transfered early next week (the current week). Until now nothing. They wont transfer me the money, PlayerUP is a SCAM. Its been 3 months already and the only reason they contact me was because the review got some minor traction. There is no payment information problem, they have all my information to do the transfer, but they simply wont do because they DONT WANT to do.
- Update (2) - The scammers flagged again this complain as "Resolved", its a lie. Sitejabbers removed their previous comment and they are trying again to push this false narrative that the problem is in my end. PLAYERUP IS A SCAM!
- Update (3) - Still nothing more than 4 months after the transaction. Sitejabbers even blocked them from flagging this review as "resolved" (thanks sitejabbers support team) cause they were abusing it.

PlayerUp is not a legit site, it is a scam. I've been trying to get my US 217,50 from a DragonFable account i sold almost a month and a half ago (May 1st). The middleman simple ignore my messages and i have to threat reporting them for scamming in order to get a reply from them. I've been doing this for a month and half now in order to try to get my money. First i thought it might be incompetence of the employees, but now after all this time trying to get my money i am 100% sure that the site is a SCAM. They will try to gaslight you until you either give up or write a bad review of the site, the latter will result in they contacting you and asking you to delete the review in order for you to receive your money. It happened to me and i have proof of that, i screenshoted from my Telegram chat with the PlayerUp Support. I have over 100 screenshots from all the conversation that i have in the site and on the Telegram to prove that its a scam and they have no intention of giving your money. Last week they "confirmed" that they transfered to me my money and i ask for the receipt of the transaction as proof. They send a screenshot of the worst attempt of faking a receipt that i ever saw. I gave one week (after 1 month and 1 week of trying to get my money back) for they to transfer my money. They did not, so here i am. Thats not even the my first bad review of PlayerUp here, i had to delete my initial review for they to "transfer" my money (I have proof of that like i said above), and its not only me. One quick search on the internet and you will realize that a lot of people (from at least 2 years ago) got scammed by this site. PlayerUp has existed for 17 years now, cant confirm if all 17 years they were scamming people (probably not), but somewhere around 2022/23 the site start scamming every seller. I was stupid, if i had research just a little bit i would easily find out that the site is a scam, but no, i googled "Selling Game Account" and PlayerUp was the 2nd site that appeared on Google (which is mind blowing... How the ***** a scam like this is the 2nd option on Google when you search for Selling Game Account!?!?).

I am gonna list some other shady things about PlayerUp: They dont that a profile on Trustpilot (another big Site Review) anymore (i think they were expelled) - You cant type Sitejabber.com, Trustpilot.com and FTC on the ticket with the middleman (i have proof of that, i had to space out the letters so the message could be sent, e.g. Sitejabber.com = Sit ejabber.com). - The only place they reply to you is sometimes on the Telegram and very rarely on the Middleman Ticket (but just if you threat reporting them) - If you want to receive your money via Paypal they wil ignore you until you threat reporting them and will gaslight you saying that at the moment they having trouble with transfering with Paypal (It happened to me and I have proof and a lot of people on forums said the same thing). That is a LIE! They are doing that to delay even more the payment and hoping that you will give up. - Check their Subreddit (r/PlayerUp) and you will see everyone complaning about not receiving the money.

After finishing this review i will seek legal action and report them to the FTC. I am a verified member on the site (happened last week) and i have proof of that too and i can almost guarantee that after they see this review that they are going to change my "status" there (I will update the review with proof if that happens).

I hope this review helps someone not being scammed by this site and avoid the "headache" that i am having.I will update the review weekly to let everyone know how this situation is going. Giving 1 Star to PlayerUp hurts me (1 Star is the lower rating possible unfortunatelly), because it implies that PlayerUp is a legit site that did a terrible job with a costumer, which isnt true because PlayerUp is not a legit site, is a SCAM.

Don't bother with this site. I sold my Destiny2 account and they won't pay out! They will make you beg them to get your money.And they say noo fee but they take 78$... They don't care about their reputation, their behavior, or what is right and what to wrong or their honesty

3 Way Conversation srated 24h Feb 24,2023 and buyer Confirms Delivery Feb 25,2023. And i never get my money, i tried to contact support on facebook and the site and email and they never i mean never reply. On 7 August I decided to give another chance I have done everything they asked for deleted all reviews and I waited until 16 August for them to do anything and as any scammer do they ignored me again, and said the site is down and when it works Again they will do something, after the site back online, when I text them i got this answer.

I was using Middleman (escrow) service on the PlayerUp.com website, the most advertised feature of the website, to sell my digital goods, which is being run by the site staff itself. Everything seemed fine at first, the staff was responsive, the escrow procedure was going according to plan - the buyer paid the money to the site, I gave them my digital goods, and finally, the buyer got the goods I sold them. But I never got the money I earned for my sale and it looks like I never will. The payout message they sent me, promised an estimated 1 - 96 hours for the money to be sent to me. It has been over a month (since Feb. 27th, 2023) and I still don't have it.

Initially, I tried contacting them over Telegram and onsite over two tickets and did not get any response for 2 weeks. Then I decided to take action and my first step was posting a bad review here on March 13th, 2023. In a miraculous way, in less than 10 minutes after posting the review here, I got messaged on Telegram being asked to delete my review and my onsite cash-out ticket was suspended. So you would expect to get your money after posting a bad review - no, your money (it has never been their money) is now "suspended".
I decided to cooperate and delete it, and they started occasionally responding (once in a few days), but the best I got was that I will be updated shortly. I specifically asked them multiple times to provide me an exact reason why they can't send me my money - never got one. Also note that my payment method is cryptocurrency, which can be sent in minutes to anywhere in the world, not months. They were very fast to receive it from my buyer though.

Update 1: As I previously mentioned, I was asked over Telegram to remove my initial review. Today, while I was gathering new screenshots for this report, to republish it, I noticed that they have deleted the messages about the initial bad review. I will also attach here the chat screenshot I took before the messages were deleted. PlayerUp - no need to delete anything, I have screenshots and webpage snapshots saved for evidence.

Update 2: After I republished this, they told me that I am the one to blame for all this and that there is no way they can proceed to pay me. This time they did not directly ask me to delete my review, but it was clearly in the message context. Then they shadow banned me from their site - after login I get sent to some kind of /notfound redirect loop.

Update 3: This is the second, and probably, the last time I deleted my review here (decided to give it another go after a few months) and I am republishing it once again, because this time they didn't even bother reading my Telegram messages even though I was messaging them almost every day (after I deleted the review this time) and they also deleted my Reddit post in /r/PlayerUpHelp where I was urging them to read my messages.

I won't delete this review for the third time, because it clearly does nothing. But that does not mean I will stop going after them. Feel free to reference this review if you are going after them too.

Finally, please note that THEY STILL HAVEN'T PAID ME MY MONEY. If a PlayerUp representative responds to this review as it is resolved - IT IS NOT RESOLVED.

Edit 5: PlayerUp.com had issues with their main site and shut it down because they claimed it was an issue with a game developer reporting them for breaking rules/laws related to the game. They shifted to middleman.net and claim that once Playerup.com is back up they will "continue payments." They have not resolved issues and despite clearly stating that they have ignored me repeatedly on Discord and Telegram their automated reply claims that they will resolve issues through Discord or telegram or any of their other "support" contacts - which is proven to be a lie.

I completed a transaction on Playerup.com April of 2021 via their onsite official Middleman. Buyer paid $2450 USD and I have not received a single cent of that money after more than 27 months.

Initially the reason provided by Playerup.com was that they were dropped by their Bank due to fraudulent information submitted by Playerup.com - which didn't stop them from continuing to process transactions or warn customers.

They then blamed firserv / First Data for withholding the funds, then they blamed Nuvei despite clearly providing proof that the transaction window was unrelated to another issue Playerup.com had with Nuvei.

Afterwards they just stopped communicating about the issue. Almost 2 months ago I posted a review and they finally contacted me on Discord again asking me to delete my review so they could finally update me, they also said that I had to download Telegram and contact the PlayerUp support there for additional updates. I foolishly trusted them again and they replied a few times on Telegram saying that the issue has been flagged as "urgent" only to completely ignore me again on both Discord and Telegram.

Playerup.com will make you jump through hoops, stonewall you, coerce you, lie to you and do everything in their power to not pay you after using their "Trusted, Fast and Secure" Middleman Service.

If Playerup.com wants me to delete this post too, feel free to resolve the issue instead of lying to me again.

Live Chat will keep you waiting for hours upon hours if not a full day before timing out.

Discord responses depends on Middleman actually wanting to help or if you post an honest negartive review, which they'll ask you to remove the post by claiming that you have "another open ticket" or "open issues" even though the reply on here is that this is not PlayerUp support.

Support on Telegram has resulted in more wasted time and zero updates or resolutions.

Edit: After ignoring me for 2 months after claiming there were new updates to share as of March 2023, they finally saw my review and asked me to delete my review for "updates" that they never shared in the first place.

Edit 2: PlayerUp Middleman on Discord has threatened to cancel my transaction 27+ months after it was completed by both parties unless I delete my honest review. The value of the transaction is $2450. Middleman is more willing to commit fraud than to provide an update or resolution to an ongoing issue that has been pending on Playerup.com doing their job.

Edit #3: PlayerUp.com has stonewalled me for over 2 years and now claims the issue has been resolved despite them not doing a single thing to help me other than waste my time. Now they insist that I have to contact firserv directly because PlayerUp.com made a mistake over 2 years ago. I have not received any money nor have they helped me in any way. 100% unreliable service.

Edit #4: To avoid responsibility for their actions PlayerUp.com has copy/pasted the entire website for PlayerUp to Middleman.net and continue to exploit and lie to customers without paying sellers. Issues remain unresolved and ignored. Something that scammers often do to trick people into thinking it is a site unrelated to previous issues.

After almost 2 years still no money, save yourselves. Do not use this scam of a site its bs what they do to people and I'm absolutely digusted. Pieces of sh!t own this site, period.

No resolution they claim I need to login to the site they know I cannot get on. I may need to contact the game and regain access to my account if I continue to be ignored. I have the parent company if anyone is interested. I'm giving them one more chance to resolve this Or a lawsuit will be filed.

Well they responded resolved but this hasn't been resolved, I've cashed out twice, and if it let me on the site, which it wont(I've got screenshots of it not, plus when I originally cashed out, plus my multiple responses I made to them on telegram) ill attach some of the chat as you can see going on since April. I'd happily update this review to resolved but it's not.

I mean I really have exhausted all options to get my money and now I just want to make sure no one else gets scammed out of their money. They had me remove my original negative reveiew before they could work on my cash out, I did thinking great ill finally get paid then excuse after excuse and radio silent. They claimed they needed me to change my payment method since they had issues with zelle I changed it to Google pay as of April 20th and yet almost a month later no payment, this has been going on for now since March 23rd.

I'd honestly sell your account on ebay over using their middleman service. Mind you this is all over $430. I will post screenshots of some chats on telegram which they'll say to contact but good luck getting any response. Read for yourself. Open issues means negative reviews.

I would hate to see someone get screwed out of money ebay at least has protections in place for both buyer and seller and are a reputable company. I tried to remain patient and understanding but almost 2 months to get paid with no communication is unacceptable and im imploring you all to think about using anywhere else. I'm so frustrated I got screwed out of this money and how God awful this company is. I can't even see any address to mail them any documentation from my lawyer to get my money. Before you decide to work with PlayerUp and their "amazing" middleman services, please consider the following:
1.) In terms of customer support... They have no support. Questions? Ignored. Payment delay? That's your problem. Got scammed? Skill issue.
2.) Do not under any circumstances provide them with your personal information, especially with any copies of your ID. It will be revealed, posted on their site and used against you without your permission.
3.) If you leave any negative reviews or mention their service in a bad way: first you will be asked to remove it as they only handle support on their own site, and somehow it disturbs their work. They will try to sway you with the promises of payment. Then they will cancel your payment without your approval because you refuse to work with them. They will now try to manipulate you into deleting any negative reviews to "restore" your payment. Next, they will post every piece of your personal information that they have to blackmail you. You will be branded as a scammer and a fraud without any proof from their side.
4.) The best solution that they could provide in my situation was claiming my account from the publisher after I sold it two years ago, which basically means that they screw over both the seller and the buyer. So think very carefully before using their service to buy accounts too.

Now about my case. I sold my account two years ago, but still haven't received my money. And I never will as I am now branded a fraud on their site, my personal information is revealed, and my transaction is cancelled. Before this, I tried contacting their live chat and support numerous times, and had several two-hour long sessions in their live chat. I also tried to get any updates to my situation in the main ticket and three others.

No response since the beginning, where they post about issues with their bank and publishers. They had a main thread about it, but it stopped updating very soon and got deleted shortly after. Total radio silence since then. Until I wrote to them about my negative reviews of their service as a last resort. That and the following conversation was mostly done as a joke, just to get their attention, as I have already lost any hope to receive my money. Got instant response and the situation unfolded just as I described in point 3. At this point I don't care about money, my illegally revealed personal information or their accusations. It is about sending the message and warning to any possible users or even victims of this dishonest sorry excuse of a middleman service. Even if there really is a serious issue with their bank, the way that they handle any negativity about them, how they treat their users, customers and their private information is simply atrocious, illegal and unprofessional. If you are looking for a place to sell or to buy accounts, this is definitely not a good one, avoid PlayerUp at any cost. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.

Update: This was not resolved, my transaction was canceled by MiddleTrash, check the screenshot. PlayerScam, what about the issue about revealing personal information? Care to comment on that? Bunch of cowards.

And you really should tell your support team to toughen up. Because this is what you get for ignoring your customers and treating their privacy like trash.

Honestly, Mr. PlayerUp-Guy, no hate and slander. And I am not trying to cause problems. I just don't like me or my private information being treated like trash. And I really think that you don't have any rights to do so.
1.) You never tried to help me, you tried to erase any negative information about your services and then enter radio silence mode again.
2.) A couple of jokes made is not hate spreading. And no, an honest review of your services and methods is also not hate spreading, calm down.
3.) As a matter of fact, we do have something to discuss. Delete my private information and your foolish accusations posted with it.

In the end, the best they could do is ban me on their site. Again, think twice before trusting this company with your money, time and private information.

Summary
They are probably selling your personal data since i am getting scam SMS on daily basis with my phone number they know. The buyer is probably one of the scam team, they keep you waiting for eternity and do not pay you. If you happen to negative comment about them, they want you to remove it first. I had to change my ID card (requested during withdraw phase which never happens) and my old Discord username.

Tried to trade my gaming account, found a buyer (I highly doubt there was one, I think they are
Using fake accounts for their shady business) and we agreed on using Middleman service which
Was supposed to provide us safe trade. The middleman service informed me that the buyer has

Days before they perform transaction and send my money.

After months passed, I have started getting phone confirmation messages from the lost account,
After a short while, the buyer contacted me and requested the code (this is why I suspect that they
Are the same people) And I refused to share before getting paid. Middleman contacted me and
Told me there was a mistake and they will pay me and they went silent again (I keep all the
