The lender I was matched with also promised that I would get my money later that day. However, it took almost 3 full days before I saw the money in my bank account. So if you're facing an actual emergency and need money fast, look for a loan elsewhere.

Great experience overall. Simple application and quick approval. However, before you apply you should know that they are not an actual lender. After I applied and got a confirmation email from PaydaySeek, I was contacted by the actual lender and told that my application had been approved and that I needed to sign an e-agreement. So the funds came from this lender, not from PaydaySeek.
