I had the great misfortune of booking a stay with Panhandle Getaways, for the month of February. We spent the month listening to construction in condos around us. While I understand the company has no control over what individuals do with their condos there was no reason for their reaction and lack of consideration. We were subjected to construction often lasting all day, drilling, sanding, and hammering. Not only that but the condominium association was running tests of their equipment and warning systems. The association was working on the garage so we were required to move our vehicle numerous times or be towed. My major complaint is with the attitude of an employee with horrible attitude when told of our dissatisfaction. We asked repeatedly to speak with a supervisor and left our number but in 28 days and numerous requests none was forthcoming. We emailed the main office of Panhandle Getaways and received no response.

I will never book a condo through a property manager again after this experience and another we had in St. Augustine. I would recommend to all that they make sure they are booking through the owner so you have someone to talk to when problems arise.
