I found an Orthoture ad while scrolling the New York Times online. The pictures looked nice and l trust the companies that advertise in the NYT. They arrived in a plastic bag which was sketchy enough but the inserts were actually cardboard. I immediately recycled the inserts but I should have immediately returned the shoes instead. I now see them advertised everywhere and implore anyone reading this review to trust me and avoid Orthoture! A complete rip-off!
Bought two pairs of shoes for $40 each. Have bought Chinese shoes at this price point and received quality product. These were in no way orthopedic (no arch) and literally unwearable on a sidewalk. Given so many similar complaints, why does PayPal facilitate their financial transactions? They need ro think this over, as do customers,

These are the worst shoes ever. Customer service is nonexistent. Do not order from this company. The shoes feel like you're walking on wood boards. They do nothing for unhappy customers. Now I'm stuck with shoes that are crap, to put it nicely.

To start, I read some reviews right after ordering from orthoture website and try to cancel the order within 20 minutes. They said they couldn't do that because they had already shipped my item! Then later they said, please let them know how I liked the shoe and they would make everything right if I was not satisfied. I got the shoes two weeks later And they looked fine but we're so flimsy they wouldn't hold my feet. I said I wanted to return them for a refund. Then they said I had to take pictures of the bag that they came in and the shoes and send it to them. I did this and then they said they would give me 10% back of the cost of the shoe! They also charge exorbitant shipping fees. This is a bogus company that goes by several names, including scenery trade and express supply chain company. Do not use them or you will regret it.
Shoes are poor quality. No logo on them. They will not give refund and return them despite not fitting.

These shoes are beyond awful and they have a nauseating toxic rubber smell. They do not look like the photo and the store will not accept returns or give refunds.
Do not order from this company!
One of my many emails to the Orthoture company and their reply below.
(Me) I ordered two pair of shoes. The same design, but different colors. I received one pair and still haven't received the second pair. The shoes are not comfortable at all, so I want to return them for a full refund. They say I need to wait for the second pair to be delivered. It's been three months, and I still haven't received the second pair, of which I know I won't like because they are just like the first pair. They offered me a 15%. I also paid for guaranteed delivery. Here's just one of many replies from them after I sent my email about wanting a refund.
(Their response) Dear Customer,
Thank you for your letter.
I'm sorry you still don't want to keep the package.
We are willing to provide you with two solutions to solve this problem:
1. We support return services, but you need to pay the shipping fee yourself. After we receive the package you send back, we will give you a full refund.
2. If you are unwilling to pay for the shipping yourself, we are willing to refund you 15% as compensation and recommend that you keep the package.
Please tell me the solution you choose, and we will solve the problem for you as soon as possible according to the solution you choose.
Warm reminder: Please do not return items before we authorize the return.

Stay far away from this company. Bad product. Horrible customer support. Offered me 10% of my order cost if I returned the terrible shoes I bought.
It took forever to get my shoes in a plastic bag. They actually did fit but are so uncomfortable. Shoes looked like the pics but I think they were made with a 3D printer.
Just like everyone else, I should have looked at reviews first. The shoes didn't fit and were not comfortable. I tried to return them but would have to pay shipping AGAIN. They gave me a 15% refund and asked to give them a positive review. It took over 2 month to just get that. So disgusted!

Horrible, poorly made products, won't issue refunds, terrible customer service. Don't be sucked in, products are nothing like the pictures.
This company is bogus and has the worst customer service of any company I've ever dealt with. I ordered a size 12 blue shoe and they sent me a size 14 tan shoe. They then stated if I wanted a refund I would have to ship back the shoes at my cost. Or keep the shoes for a 20% refund. Unbelievable. They don't even have a 1-800 number to speak directly to someone as they are a Chinese based company. They suck!
Total scam. Junk shoes. Mindless templated customer service emails reply to request for what was promised to be an easy return experience if needed. Totally frustrating. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BRAND!
Do not buy from this company. Their product descriptions are false. They do not accept returns or exchanges. The shoes that arrived were poor quality, uncomfortable and definitely not "orthopedic shoes for bunions". AVOID THIS COMPANY!
Professional looking website, with good looking merchandise. Took payment immediately. Items shipped out of Hong Kong in a plastic bag. Poor quality merchandise looking like it had been run over on the highway. Website says 90 day satisfaction no-hassle returns. More hassle than you can imagine. First they offered 10%, then a 20% refund. They never gave us a return address. WE finally complained to the credit card company. It is still under review.
