I purchased Orivens ErgoZen loupes and experienced significant issues immediately upon receipt. Despite careful setup and following the company's adjustment instructions (including frame bending and barrel alignment) with poor focus, limited field of view, and discomfort.

I contacted Orivens support the day after delivery and explained the issues in detail. Their response was that I needed "up to two weeks to get used to the system" and that the specifications listed on their website were "100% correct," despite my direct comparison with other loupes claiming the same parameters but offering substantially better performance.

I also raised concerns about build quality (controller usability, cable durability, finishing), which were dismissed. My refund request was refused outright, with the company relying on a "custom-made / non-refundable" policy and advising me to adapt to the product rather than addressing the defects or performance concerns.

I was offered "refinement" under a lifetime warranty, but no return or refund option, even partially. Communication became increasingly dismissive, including statements implying the product was fully functional and that the issue was my expectations rather than the device itself.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Orivens. Buyers should be aware that if the product does not meet expectations or advertised claims, refunds may be refused regardless of the issues raised.

I had a very disappointing experience with Orivens. I returned a product following all their instructions, including using the HS code they provided. Unfortunately, the package got stuck at Chinese customs due to the incorrect HS code they told me to use.

FedEx informed me that the package couldn't be cleared and that the recipient (Orivens) had even requested the destruction of the package. When I contacted Orivens, they denied this and then stopped responding to my emails altogether.

Despite my constant efforts to resolve the issue, Orivens refused to cooperate or help with the customs process. In the end, the package was destroyed, and I lost both the product and my money. 💸

The customer service was unhelpful and showed zero accountability.

I do NOT recommend Orivens. Their poor handling of returns and lack of customer support put buyers at risk. Be careful before ordering!
