A scam! I tried to buy a Kawasaki Mule. For $2000. 00 I spent 2 weeks trying to buy it. They told me to contact ebay and send them the money in their name and they would send me the Kawasaki Mule. When I called ebay they said I would have buy from ebay before they would deal with it. SCAM! SCAM! IF IT sounds like a to good of a deal! It is.
OODLE MARKETING IS A SCAM!
Was looking for a puppy and there were several ads by most likely the same person. They want you to send money, they will ship. I caught 2 of them pretty much at their game.
STEER WELL CLEAR FROM OODLE. COM THEY USED TO RUN A WEB SITE CALLED YUPYI WHICH WAS RUNNING A SCAM SELLING CARS AND MOTERBIKES AND A SCAMMER ON A OIL RIG THEN THEY WERE USEING ABL SHIPPING, WHICH THE SCAMMERS HAVE NOW SHUT DOWN, GO GOOGLE AND PUSH IN ABL SHIPPING SCAMS AND READ ALL ABOUT THESE NICE LOW LIFES, THEY EVEN HAD THE SAME PHOTO OF THE BIKE THAT I GOT SCAMMED ON EBAY UK HAD 4 BIDS BUT STOPPED DUE TO SELLERS ACCOUNT BEING HACKED! AND DONT SEND MONEY TRANSFER TO A HSBC BANK IN LONDON! NOT IF THE CAR OR BIKE IS FOR SALE IN THE USA RED FLAGS! NOW THAT ABL SHIPPING HAS GONE WATCH OUT FOR ZEIGLER FREIGHT WHICH THE SCAMMERS ARE NOW USING!
I a swered add a bouta feee tea up puppy. Of course they were still availilable but the owner unexpectedly was in DC on business. If I sent her 600$ for shipping she would send the puppy right away. Writing in the text was very difficult to read. After reading the first few words I could tell it a scam and I told then so. I have blocked them from my email and hope to never encounter these theives again.
NOTE: their add, in very tiny numbers, stated the post was made 292 days ago - but the puppy was supposedly 11 weeks old - another huge red flag that this was a scam.
I have been looking EVERYWHERE for a sphynx cat and finally found one for a great price. I contacted the seller. They wanted payment through money gram. I sent the money. They said they'd ship my cat. They later informed me they needed more money for PET INSURANCE, which you don't need. Realized I was caught in a scam. I'm pissed that this site would allow such ads to be posted, and the only reason I gave them a star is because I had to... And they are EVERYWHERE! DO YOUR RESEARCH! I hope this will help the next potential victims. Moneygram SUCKS, Oodle SUCKS! If you're going to create a site to allow people to use and sell things, TAKE CARE OF YOUR CUSTOMERS.
I came to this site thinking that it would have less spam and fraud than craigslist and its even worse. See how many spam sellers you can count that begin their selling point with, (why?).
Please please beware! Wish I had listened to these reviews. Just got scammed trying to get a Bichon dog this morning! The seller scammed me out of $600. Claiming to be a pet travel agency. Emailed me staying the dog needed a new crate, then shots. Asians Asians... they have you put the western union in other people's names... Beware of the name Ishia Wallace and Latasha Patrick. There 2 are from Bakersfield Ca! I filed a police report today and I plan to see this through for all of the people who have gotten scammed! Even if it takes years! I have a 1 star because it made me hit a star.
Yes, there are legitimate sellers on Oodle. I'm one. The only way I've found to repost my ad is to go back and edit it/replace photos. If I rewrite a new ad... even at the end of the previous ad's 30 days, they flag it, I guess as "substantially similar" to the first ad. I understand that they don't want to be spammed by massive submissions, over & over, with the same ad. But really... one a month? If that's their policy, they should state it explicitly. And FORGET getting them to respond to a request to remove a flag. As to the folks getting scammed on pets, for gosh sakes follow the warning Oodle posts: do NOT send money for an animal sight-unseen. Find a nearby seller and go visit! I wouldn't sell an animal to someone I haven't met, and you certainly shouldn't buy one that way.
I have reported the website to authorities. These ignorant low life people use fake pictures to pull you in. I've gone under cover and have busted majority of these puppy ad listings. THIS WHOLE WEBSITE IS FAKE. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO BUY ON HERE BECAUSE YOU WILL BE GIVING YOUR MONEY TO A PIECE OF CRAP PERSON.
TRIED TO CONTACT A SELLER FROM NJ VERY CLOSE TO MY AREA, BUT SHE SAID SHE WAS CURRENTLY RELOCATED TO BALTIMORE MD, DUE TO HER NEW JOB BUT COULD HAVE THE PUPPY DELIVERED TO MY LOCATION. NOW IM DOING A REVERSE LOOK UP ON THE POSTS AND EVERY POST HAVE AN AREA CODE FROM A DIFFERENT CITY. BIG SCAM!
Regarding Pet ads: Oodle's link to Puppyfind has definitely improved its means of screening people offering pets. If you are looking for a puppy, just click the light blue box on the upper right of the puppy ad you are looking at. It will take you directly to the puppyfind website, where people offering pets are carefully reviewed to make sure they have healthy puppy raising practices and provide good & loving homes to their adult dogs.
One thing that is weird is that Oodle will rewrite/edit a perfectly good Puppyfind ad and make it sound as though the person writing the ad has limited English skills.
The linkage to puppyfind now makes Oodle a great service for animals; a real asset in helping them to find excellent homes, whether puppy or older animal. Fact is that if people can find a pet advertised in their area, that pet has an opportunity to become a family member of the best home possible.
No matter what, anyone buying a puppy should take the right steps:
1) If puppies are born, it's best to go and visit the litter. Make sure the puppies are in clean conditions and that their mommy is also well taken care of. Puppies are not released until they are properly weaned and are 8 weeks of age, so expect to remit a small deposit. NOT a huge sum of money.
2) If you wish to deposit on a litter in advance of the puppies being born, this is a normal practice, but once again, the deposit to reserve a puppy should be a SMALL amount.
I contacted at least a dozen people who are selling Great Dane puppies and found them to be fraudulent. They were the puppies that were listed at 500 dollars or less.
There completely unprofessional and unorganized! I've never felt more hustled in my day an age. No one in the office has a clue on company policy, there a complete reap off!
SUCKS SUCKS SUCKS.
POLICY VIOLATION! Cannot place an ad with them, it keeps kicking it off for no good reason. Customer service sucks. No one gets back to me to resolve this issue.
DOn't waste your time advertising with this company- they are a bunch of crappy operation.
STAY AWAY! I called an ad for questions about pug puppes and no one answered. I wanted to know where the puppies came from. I soon after get a text (they will not communate over the phone), if Im interested in the puppies, he/she proceeded to text me VULGAR DEROGATORY comments! Just bc I asked a few questions about the puppies! IT is a SCAM God only know where these poor puppies come from, unless you want to be harrassed, do NOT contact these people! Go to petfinder.com
So glad you had these reviews. I almost got scammed buying a Yorkie puppy. They wanted me to send $100 Western Union and pay the rest when the puppy arrived. They asked for my address so I gave them the address of the local police department. OOOOHHHHHH I am so mad! Thank GOD I googled this website. I am so glad I figured it out before it was too late and I was out $100.
OUT OF DATE. DOES NOT WORK PROPERLY. ACCOUNT WAS FLAGGED AND BANNED MULTPLE TIMES FOR NO REASON! POSTS WERE TAKEN DOWN WHEN TRYING TO PROMOTE MY PRODUCT! HORRIBLE WEBSITE WASTE OF TIME!
I agree with all of the other reviews (which I had read prior to entertaining these criminals). In this case, they say that there names are Melanie Morman and Frank Karl. They posted an add three days ago in Texas but by yesterday had suddenly moved to Georgia. They were "willing" to ship the Yorkie puppy for all of my son's birthday money. Everything sounded slightly plausible until the "shipping company " only accepted Money Grams to this person named Frank. I called the number and spoke to UShip Transporters (lie!). I could barely understand the guy. As soon as I hung up with him, I got a text from the seller clarifying what UShip was trying to tell me. So, are you two standing next to each other? Hmmm. Luckily, Walmart had my back and declined the transaction, telling me it was a scam, after reading the email that I had received. I texted the number back telling them what Walmart said. I never got a reply. So, even though my children didn't get a puppy, my son still has his money in order to buy one from a legit source. There is a special place for these people. Karma will take care of them...
This guy on here is running a scam out of norfolk, he's got a 210 area code, and going under the name Jessica, Rebecca, Sandine, and changing it everyday, we're not giving up. You're going down.
This is a website filled with bogus listings. I contacted several advertisers of French Bulldogs for sale and none of them responded. They give you a number to text (which is a scam) and I didn't want to text just random people only to receive advertising on my phone in the future. PURE SCAM - DON'T TRUST THE WEBSITE. They are just using it to get money on ADS. They don't vet the listers.
Answer: This is my experience, no need to try to file a complaint, Oodle doesn't answer it. I submitted inquiries with no result. When you submit a complaint you get a ticket number thru email with a promise that Oodle will get back with you in a certain time span. Well it doesn't happen! I would never send money for a pet thru this website due to the fact they will not help you if you are scammed knowing your complaint isn't answered. I legetically listed puppies for adoption. I do no shipping, listed them in my area and do have the pets I'm listing. Good bye Oodle, I've found a website that is legitimate for my listings..
Answer: Don't get a dog in less u can put your hands on it the people hot me just after my dog passed away and I told them about it and myself having cancer as well I will never trust anyone again and they said they was in the same state as me but was out of town seeing family it's all bull shit
Answer: It's a scam. I got ripped off and got the Fbi and secret service involved.
Answer: I really don't know if they are all scams. I have inquired about pugs being at a distance away but just didnt feel comfortable. I even talked to the sellers but just decided to pass on the chance of maybe losing my money. Hope this helps.
Answer: Yeah why is oodle still operating. This is were the government should step in to protect US citizens
Answer: Obviously the scammers are one step ahead of Oodles... The scammers probably email and complain about the legitimate deals, so they have a better chance of being contacted. Oodles needs to have true Animal lover's be in charge of there site.
Answer: This site is a scam - major scam - - don't ever buy from Oodle. Laden with scammers.
Answer: No. But be very careful of what's offered. If it is too good to be true it's a scam. Also, don't wire any money to someone/business you don't know. You will never see again. Credit card or Paypal. If they won't accept them then don't do business with them. You can recover your money from either.
Answer: I agree with you that most of the listings are scams. I wanted to purchase a Macaw or an African Grey and every ad was nothing but false information. I even had one person send me pictures of the birds he was offering. When reading the meta data for the pictures I discovered that the pictures were older than the birds he was selling. I don't understand how this site has not been shut down because of the amount of misinformation and downright criminal acts that it allows.
