Do yourself a favor and order from a different company. OEM Used Auto Parts was founded in 2015 by Sam Theofanopoulos, driven by a common frustration experienced by many home mechanics. Sam realized the need for a centralized source for quality used auto parts after spending countless hours searching multiple salvage yards in his city without success. This experience sparked the idea for OEM Used Auto Parts, aiming to make finding the right part much easier. This place (oemusedautoparts1.com) is a masterclass in how to take a customer's money and then make it impossible to get support.
Here's the story:
I ordered a part I needed urgently on June 26th. They had no problem charging my card instantly. But that's where the service ended. I received no confirmation email, no receipt, and no order number. When I check my account on their site, my order history is totally blank, as if I never ordered anything.
Now, here's the part every potential buyer needs to see. I tried to contact them everywhere:
Phone: I called the number listed on their website. It is an automated recording that instructs the caller to send an email to *******@oemuap.com. It is impossible to speak to a human.
Twitter: I posted publicly at their handle, as their Direct Messages (DMs) are disabled.
Facebook: I posted on their public page and also tried Messenger. The Messenger bot just provides an auto-reply telling me to email *******@oemuap.com.
Instagram: I created my own public post detailing the issue and tagging their account (@oemuap), as their DMs are disabled and their page is completely inactive.
This company has systematically shut down all standard lines of customer communication across every platform, forcing customers into a single email address with no tracking, no ticket number, and no guarantee of a response.
But here's the most deceptive part: that little "Google Customer Reviews" button on their website. It looks like a place to leave a public review, but it's a closed, invite-only survey system. You can only leave a review if they invite you via email after your order is delivered. It's not a real public review page—it's another dead end designed to silence unhappy customers.
So now they have my money, I have no part, and I'm left posting warnings like this. Avoid them at all costs.
If they actually manage to resolve this, I will update this review and all others. Until then, consider this your warning.
Note: While I would love to provide receipts, etc - I never received any
