WORST purchase experience of my life! DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING from Net Fashion Ave they are scam artists who steal your money and don't send out what you purchase! I saw a dress I really liked on their website for my sister in laws wedding 3 months from the occasion there asking price for the dress was $1160US. I emailed them before purchasing it to confirm they had it in stock and in the size required and to also get a time frame of when to expect the dress to ensure I got it before the wedding. They replied via email within 24 hours assuring me the dress was in stock with the size required and advised it would take 2-3 weeks to arrive to Sydney. I purchased the dress for $1160. 00 through my Google checkout account and waited. 3 weeks passed and I got no word of my dress. I decided to give it another week maybe the shipping was delayed I thought. Offcourse after 4 and half weeks nothing arrived so I sent them an email advising that I didn't receive my dress. They replied saying that it was in fact shipped and provided me with a Parcel reference number. They advised me they would look into it for me and lodge a claim with their delivery people and see what happened to the delivery they advised me this claim would take 2 weeks to investigate with an outcome. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and decided to wait 2 more weeks as they advised me to do so even though I went to their delivery company's website they used and placed their parcel reference number to see if I could track the dress only to be advised by the delivery company that the reference number was not active (This meaning the item was never shipped to start off with!) Two and a half weeks passed and offcourse Net Fashion Ave didn't even bother to respond back to me regarding the status of my dress. I emailed them once again asking them for a response to see what the outcome was as it was over almost 3 weeks from them lodging a claim they didn't respond back to me so my husband called them for a week they barely answered the phone and when they did they would hang up on him even though he never lost his cool once. After another email I sent where I then threatened to contact Google they finally responded by saying they still didn't know what happened and there wasn't much they could do for me and I had to wait even though the wedding was the same month and there was no chance of getting another dress in time. I replied back and advised them that I would like a refund of $1160 on a purchase I didn't receive 8 weeks later! I got a short email from them saying their policy states NO REFUNDS available and that I might be trying to scam them! There exact words to me were "We would had appreciated if you had given us more time to get an answer from USPS before you went and rate us bad. At this point all we can think is that you are truly trying to scam us because usually those people scream as loud as they can against the innocent person. We will proceed with the investigation and go from there."" I was in total shock and replied advising them that should I not receive a refund I would contact Google checkout direct and escalate the matter. I also requested a claim number and details of the claim they said they lodged with their delivery people. Offcourse they didn't supply any claim reference numbers and instead replied back saying they will "supply this to a higher authority" which meant nobody really what a joke! A day or two later they sent me a refund for $500 with an email saying that since I refused to wait until they sorted their claim out it they will give me 50% refund only. I contacted Google checkout to advise them of what Net Fashion Ave was doing to me and within 2 days of the complaint Google checkout forced those scum bags to refund me in full. After ALL the crap Net Fashion Ave out me through they furthermore placed comments in the Google checkout refund confirmation email commenting "Comments from Net Avenue: customer was reported to collection agency "THE NERVE OF THIS COMPANY! To even suggest and think they can report me to anyone when I did nothing wrong and while they tried to scam me. I was so disgusted by their behaviour so I decided to share my story with my family and friends and guess what I found out! My brother in laws old mother purchased a $400 dress from Net Fashion Ave ALSO and OFFCOURSE they never delivered the dress to her either. When she tried to follow it up with them they abused her also and denied not sending it. Being old and defenceless she gave up trying to get her money back. PLEASE DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID AND PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THESE THEIVES they have no morals and no conscious and if your read more reviews you will see I'm not the only one it's the same story every time!
This company is running a scam, do not order from them. They prey on you with their flashy website which is full of beautiful dresses. Here's the common scenario: When you find one you really like that every other store says is sold out or no longer carry. You then click on the dress of interest and voila! There it is in the colour and size that you want, too good to be true that the dress that you really want is there on this netfashionavenue site. So now you are thrilled to have found the dress you really wanted in the first place actually available so you go ahead and order it.
Now here's how the scam works, netfashionavenue actually do not have most of the dresses listed on their website in stock with them in their store or office. So almost every dress you see they do not physically have. Some of the latest release dresses they can probably get after you pay for you order but many of the other and especially last season stock are no longer available and never will be.
Once Netfashionavenue have your money they, do not contact you to tell you that these dresses are unavailable. They will wait for you to contact them with queries about where your dress is and how much longer it is going to be, then they tell you that they are still waiting to hear from the designer and as soon as they receive the dress from them it will be shipped. They give you an estimate which is a time frame of usually more than a month, which is now becoming disheartening as you did not think that you would have to wait this long let alone another month or two, and that's just for them to hear from and take delivery from the designer. Then there's shipping time on top of that, never ever do Netfashionavenue tell you that they cannot get the dress, scamming at its best.
What happens next is they try to divert you to choosing another dress and suggest something that they probably do have one or two of in stock, if you take it good, but if its not what you want, then well you can get my drift by reading some of the other reviews, they offer you a store credit which is only valid for a certain time or you end up purchasing something you didn't really want, because they said you cannot have your money back its policy and you agreed to it, blah blah blah.
Another scenario is that because they cannot send you the dress that you want and they have your money, they will try and make themselves look legitimate by sending you a dress but they will now send you the wrong dress, this has happened many times with customers who placed an order up to a year before they received their wrong dress. Netfashionavenue will then say "oh sorry about that", but you'll have to post it back to us at your expense. If a customer lets them string it along for over a year you will be sent a dress but it will be the wrong one guaranteed, they will do this rather than admit that they cannot get the dress that you ordered ever!
Don't fall for it as their policy its a load of cow dung. This policy is their only defence and it stinks, it basically says that they are not responsible for anything and cannot guarantee that they will ever ship your order if you have a good read of it. Just because you want to purchase something does not mean you have to agree with it, as a purchaser you are entitled to receive the dress that you ordered and not some alternative. In my case they could not even get me the alternative.
This company will work to the very end to make sure that no matter what, they get to keep your money, your customer satisfaction means nothing to them. They absolutely love it when your store credit runs out because you didn't find anything in stock that you liked. Scam completed they get to keep your money and you receive nothing at all.
I'm not going to call anyone names or insult anyone but I will copy and paste the emails that went back and forth between myself and net fashion avenue (NFA).

It is now Friday before Christmas and if you are anything like Australia, your postal service will now be closed for the next 4 days. Sufficed to say that I am dissapointed that I have been promised that my dress would arrive by th 7th January and at this stage it looks highly unlikely. Several emails have promised that my order would be shipped and this is yet to happen. It has put me in a very tight position as I was hoping to get the dress a little early in case it needed alterations. I also contacted you prior to ordering to make sure the dress was in stock and that I would receive it in a timely manner. I received the dress on the 11th January, 4 days after the event, It was the correct dress and colour. I used the sizing charts on the website that told me I was a size twelve. When I tried it on it was according to the seamstress two sizes too big. It's going to cost me $150 dollars to take it in.
I won't be shopping with them again and I am going to make sure everyone I know doesn't either.

This is just another dress site making promises they can't keep. It seems like in the dress buying industry it's normal for these companies to tell you they have something in stock and ready for shipping that they don't. I covered all my bases with them to ensure a dress was in stock and ready to ship before I tied up my money to only end up finding out they never had the dress in stock. They promised me a dress would be shipped out on a specific date to which I verified with their online reps on that day that it would be shipped. I was told yes, no worries. So happy me went to bed, after noticing at end of business it still wasn't saying shipped, thinking it was some type of system update glitch on their end. Though deep inside I had already saved room for disappointment because i've had this same issue happen before. No email, no phone call, no nothing to let me know there was a problem with the order after they probably have a million and one notes in their system about me contacting them regarding my order to make sure there were no issues. I decided to call them the following day (in the afternoon) to have them tell me the dress was damaged in shipping and if I would like a refund. Now had I NOT emphasized to these people that I didn't want my money tied up with them if they didn't have the dress ready to ship because my wear date was pretty near, I wouldn't have been this upset. BUT still they insisted they had the dress and it would ship. Now from my experience I would say they NEVER had this dress in stock. It's a 2012 collection. Nothing was damaged! The designer just couldn't get it to them on time and they failed me as a customer due to their incompetence. I was NOT ordering a made to order dress. I'm even more upset that it took me calling them for me to be notified that there was a problem with the order. Their website just continued to say processing order up until I contacted them then it said refunded. WOW! They have no respect for your wear date future shoppers. Beware and make sure if you need a dress that you know about your events WAYYY in advance or you will have the time of your life. I understand that things happen but I wouldn't shop with netfashionave again just because of their unprofessionalism. They knew my wear date but didn't think with a couple days left I needed to know there was a problem.
