My name is Kathy. I left my camper in the care of a lady named Marty. She was the sweetest person I have met in a long time. Trying to unhook my trailer from my truck it didn't want to happen but finally did. Then trying to hook it back on my truck well that wasn't going to happen either. But Marty was right there doing most of it herself since I'm Disabled. She gave it everything she had and did it. She never complained and always gave it a smile and a laugh.

I still needed a parking spot, so I rented a different one this time making sure it was real. It was a good place but when the month was up, we ended the rental agreement but Neighbor still charged me anyway.

My host Robert Ward forced me to give him keys and used my card for several months. Added 2000 miles on it and unlimited toll tickets. He blocked me. And app will not take any responsibility. Ronald is still host on Neighbor.com even after i filed a complaint. There are other hosts like Robert, actively scamming people. Robert is verified host and told app that he never drive vehicle even though he had they keys. App took his side. But i am sure court will make right decision.
Stay away from this awful app. You and your belongings are not safe.
I never moved in the property I give neighbors my banking information for deposit reasons they claimed, they sent me to a Bogus property I cancel my reservation and they changed 117.65 because they return my discount deposit because I didn't read the fine print with those CROOKS Beware of these legal thieves give 1 star because I had to but you don't deserve that Stop Stealing from people

I listed on neighbor.com for over a year and had good renters and flaky ones as well; overall experience is no better than using Craigslist for free. Forget about neighbor.com's claim that they provide "protections". The major problem with neighbor.com is that they try to limit communication between you and the prospective renter by blocking phone numbers and blanking certain text in the messages that you send through their platform. I get that they want owners to collect payment through the neighbor.com app, but they stifle business by choking communication between owners and potential renters to arrange for viewings and to negotiate rental amounts.
Recently, I got creepy passive aggressive messages from neighbor.com asserting that I was going around the app, when I was doing no such thing. After a few of these incidences, neighbor.com completely lost my trust and I am much happier with my alternatives. Neighbor.com needs to let go of their insecurities and build trust in users if they want to do well as a company. If the company has an inviting platform, people will use it. For now, use Craigslist for free.
I signed up for there services they said it was a locked get and when i went to move in their was no gate and no lock so you are wide open to the street. I cancelled the reservation but they refuse to give me my money back i never moved in they don't care. Strongly suggest you find a storage company to store.
You will be sent a barrage of texts and emails and calls if you don't respond to reservations immediately.
This is even true if you already have a guest in the parking stall through neighbor.
They will also take away payouts after reservation based on renters comments and reviews. Do not recommend.

Rented a storage space and the person was basically holding our stuff hostage saying the app never paid him. Insane!
UPDATE: After hunting down a phone # online for neighbor.com, I did a speak with a representative. She couldn't help me, but advised me my issue would be referred to the Escalation Department and somebody would call me back. She could not advise me when. 15 minutes later, I received a call back and my payment issue was resolved. However, they do not provide any contact information for customer service on their web site.

Customer service does not exist with neighbor.com. I'm having a problem changing my payment method online. It says it has been successfully changed, but the new payment method is not reflected in my payment profile. I dug online for a phone number number to call to reach a "Customer Specialist" and just for sh*ts + giggles waited 20 minutes for somebody to answer - nobody does. I have now requested a call back. We shall see if that happens, but doubt it. I will update my review if I am contacted back and my payment option is successfully changed.

Terrible experience. After using Neighbor many times for parking, there was an incident where my car was towed while using the app. Neighbor refuses to compensate me for the towing fee.
I paid Neighbor for a service - the long term storage of my vehicle, via one of their hosts. I, as the customer, I did not meet the host and had minimal communication with them. As the customer, the difference between Neighbor as the business, and the "host", do not really matter to me. I am unaware of how Neighbor is set up as a business, and it should not be my responsibility to research their "hosts". This is what I paid them to do. Directly from their website: "As long as you stay with Neighbor, you're protected". This is fraudulent advertising. When my car was towed during the time that it was staying with "Neighbor", I did not feel protected. In fact, rather than making this issue right, Neighbor has been fighting. In the grand scheme of things it would be a small cost to fix their mistake, and instead they have turned off a loyal customer from ever using or recommending their services again. I can't imagine why someone would feel comfortable renting a storage space for their vehicle with Neighbor, when there is a chance that the vehicle will be towed during its stay, and that the customer would be on the hook for the towing charges. I paid Neighbor for a service which was not rendered. Due to this they refunded me $33, and refuse to help with the $425 towing fee I incurred while they were storing my vehicle for me. This is unacceptable.

Rented and was overcharged and cut rental short for safety. No contact info for neighbor to dispute overcharge and no response from homeowner for 24 hrs. $170 charge for 2.5 days. Stick with legit storage facilities!

I rented a space from Jane Gardner. She was very reasonable with price. She also had lots of room. She was home alot so no worries about car.
This company is my worst nightmare! They took a full month rent. I was denied access to the garage I rented. They refuse to refund. Then they sent through a second monthly charge 2 weeks later! How is that even possible!? Please do not let them do this to you! They have an average of 1 star on the reviews!

I've been using & recommending ESP Heating & Air for years. Emillo & crew always respond quickly doing quality work at a fair price. They have done installs and repairs for my house that have all been excellent.
I booked a parking spot to store my trailer since it is not allowed to be parked in my neighborhood. I mistakenly booked it days earlier than needed, immediately notified the host about it BEFORE my reservation was approved, which he approved immediately after I notified him but BEFORE I could modify the dates myself. He gave me written confirmation that he would change my dates but he never did. Fast forward to the date of my reservation. I asked him what time can I move my trailer in. He told me anytime that day would work for him and to take my time. I kept him updated throughout the day after I got held up repairing my car. When I told him I was on the way, he said that it was too late and to try again tomorrow. It was urgent I found parking for my trailer that night so I found another place. I contacted the host in regards to a refund and he ignored me. I then contacted Customer Service. They refuse to give me a full refund because according to them I waited too late to cancel the reservation when in reality I cancelled the day of the reservation, BEFORE I even moved anything onto his parking spot. They told me that my reservation was never modified and so it looked like I waited several days after to cancel. I told them that he was notified that I wanted to change the dates and he confirmed he would change the dates but he never did. They told me that it was my fault for not contacting customer service in the beginning to change the dates but also admitted that he could have contacted them to change the dates (which is what I thought he already did with the written confirmation) and he just chose not to, resulting in me being charged for those extra days. Stay away from this app!
This is a review of Neighbor.com. I wouldn't give them even 1 star but have no choice. I came across an ad looking for a 2 car garage space in Rio Rancho, NM. The owners name is Jerry T. I sent a message and said he responds within 3 hours, I never heard back from him at all, the customer service agents are from a loud call center from overseas. They kept trying to get my credit card or bank card numbers, I knew something was wrong right away and I didn't give them any personal or banking info. I was just called today back to back 3 times from a lady at their call center, I've blocked all their numbers, emails, etc. This is a Total scam with fake pics of garage spaces, parking spaces, etc. Don't waste your time and money.

The owner has now ghosted me and will not return my money.
Neighbor.com wont do a single thing to help me recover my funds, and i am poor. I recommend finding other methods of renting, because if there's no protection, there's NO REASON TO USE THE SITE

I lease a detached garage space & was to have the key left in a mutually agreed place. In 6 months was only able to access 1 time as host continued to claim boyfriend lost or misplaced the key. Finally I decided to just terminate lease & host became rude & threatening when I arrived at mutually agreed time to begin move out claiming again boyfriend lost or misplaced the key. My help arrived and host located the key, I observed host had access blocked with her own lumber & storage items so was unable to remove motor vehicle. When I advised would be back to remove before end of month and term, she stated she was leaving town till following month & I had till next day 830 am to get all my property out & stated the Neighbor company would pay for towing and moving, so I con tacted Neighbor platform and was told that was not true & they could not assist & that host decided to evict me even though I was completely paid up through the
End of month. Now I am forced to litigate my damages as also observed rats eaten destroyed 2 boxes of my property & standing water was all around the storage space. The company refused to mitigate my damages and the insurance they claim to have for damages was a hoax and they did nothing to assist or mitigate my issues w/ access to even remove my property so host locked me out and kept all property I was unable to remove inside of 18 hours. This detached unit was supposed to be my space, but host used for herself & family, denying me access for 6 monthd except for one occasion. The Neighbor company did nothing but apologize for what the host did to me. Now we are in litigation & I have been scammed out of my property stored and rent completely paid for. Do not rent from this site!

The app has scammers on it. My vehicle was towed from the parking spot that I reserved through Neighbor. I'm now 6+ weeks without my vehicle. I have a $7,000 tow bill and the loan company is threatening to reposes the vehicle. Neighbor has taken zero responsibility and managing this whole stressful ordeal has turned into a part-time job. I'm playing musical chairs between Neighbor, the host, the tow company, the cops and the loan company.
Most importantly, I repeat: Neighbor has taken zero responsibility.
I would highly suggest to run from this company and never risk using them. The money you think you're saving can very likely backfire.
I was able to search possible locations to park my vehicle, and I was able to message the host of a property to ask questions. BUT, when I agreed to meet with a host & asked to have the location address sent an hour before the meeting time, the NEIGHBOR app accused me of paying outside the app & so going against their TERMS. How asinine is that!? I am too old for this s#!t.

Renting from unbonded people leads to problems. And whatever you do make sure you sign out not only with the customer you're renting from but with the company. The person knew I moved out but continue to take my money for three more months! The company Stretched and gave me one month back because I pushed for it. This is just wrong. Don't risk your money. Go with a bonded situation, don't rent with pedestrians who can just take your money. They basically told me they couldn't pay me back because "how would there renter feel about that?"
