I ordered 4 pieces of furniture back on 31 July 2021. So when I entered my card information on the website at the store I was made a pending charge of $1,141.22. The lady at the counter gave me my receipt and said your furniture should be arriving within a couple of weeks. This was a lie.
The 4 pieces I ordered were: 1) Sauder Canal Street Entertainment Credenza Item # *******, 2) Signature Design by Ashley Camiburg Rectangular Lift Top Cocktail Table
Item # *******, 3) Signature Design by Ashley Navi Loveseat Item # *******, 4) Signature Design by Ashley Navi Sofa Item # *******.
On 02 Aug 2021, I received order #1, so I was like wow nice. But where is the rest of the order? I called customer service to find out what had happened and they explained to me that it would take at least a month and that it states this on their website. I told them I never bought from a website and I bought it from the Furniture Store on Fort Hood and that no one told me it would take that long, otherwise I would have never bought it and just went to Ashley's and paid the extra $150.00 for taxes and be done with it. So I talked it over with the wife and we already waited 2 weeks now, what's 2 more weeks, right!
Well, it's now 8 Sept 2021 and I called back wondering where is the rest of my furniture as I saw on 1 Sept 2021 that the rest of the balance was taken out of my bank account. Called customer service once again tans they said that it will be shipped on the 9th of Sept 2021, but that's not the date that I will get it. Shipped from their warehouse in Waco, Texas. So who knows when I'll actually get my last 3 items (2-4) from them, where I could have just gone to Waco, Texas and picked it up myself and came back already.
I'll be done with the Myexchange.com and never again order from them again, and I will make sure to let the post commander know about this and BBB know as well. They say they are here for the soldiers and veterans and thank us for our service but in actuality, I don't think they could care less about us. Yeah no taxes on base, but the wait time to get items for the family to relax after a long day at work or school is way too long.
We only bought these 4 items from the exchange, but the rest of the furniture we bought from other websites and received within 1 week to furnish our house. People really think about it when you buy something from them, do you want to wait a long time and get crappy service from the Exchange, or just buy it from other places you will be better off. I wonder if Mr. Shull actually cares what people write about his stores or does he even care about the service that military members and veterans are actually receiving from his employees. I do challenge him to read and review, but he probably will never.
