Will not compensate you for their mistake

I ordered some gelato for delivery by Menulog on 4/08/23 and received an incorrect flavour. I contacted support and they refused to provide any form of compensation. Not even a partial refund or a store credit for the amount not delivered. Not even kidding - it was $8. This is completely ridiculous. Take your business elsewhere. I've never had a problem with Doordash when it comes to rectifying order issues. Disgusted with this company. I will be advising all my family and friends to stay away and will be reporting them to the ACCC and advise anyone else who has had issues to so the same.

Cold food and lies
June 18, 2023

Ordered from fast food chain. There app said driver had arrived. Was over an hour later still no food. Chatted to multiple customer services who kept lying about food being delivered and dropped out when proved wrong. Finally driver dropped food of and ran without knocking or ringing doorbell. Food was cold and asked for refund. They would only give $20 voucher for the inedible food that cost nealy 70. I will never use them again.

Abysmal customer service - simply the worst

Menulog driver took 2 hours to get food to me - was stone cold and inedible when it arrived.
Asked Menulog for a refund - they offered $20 credit for a $60 order that was totally inedible.
Have been a customer of Menulog for a number of years - but no more - they've lost me as a customer, permanently.
Absolutely abysmal customer service - if I was the restaurant, I would drop them.

DO NOT USE MENULOG

Misrepresentation of timing on app, no ability to check when order is late, u get placed on a chat and they will keep queuing you straight to the back so u don't end up resolving your issue. Then they will close the chat window so you end up starting all over again with a new chat and on a long queue. They are NOT even remotely interested in helping you, or resolve an issue that is categorically their fault. In my case, order didn't come for over 2 hrs, attempts to cancel was like pulling teeth, after well over 2 hrs and ignoring my requests to cancel and get a refund, they said order was delivered...well guess what no order was delivered and it's now 41 minutes after they notified. $#*! show through through. Rating is wayy below 1.

I will never use Menulog for anything. I made an order which took an hour to deliver to the wrong address. The only way to contact them is through email which take up to 3 days to get a none favourable reply. And when it comes to refund, you have to wait 10 days with a take your money straight away for any order. Stay clear of Menulog

Don't even bother!

Honestly the most useless service. Not only did it take over 90 minutes for our order to arrive and it was stone cold on arrival. We asked for a refund and Menu Log offered a $20 credit for a $60 order. Finally got told they'd send a voucher for $60 to use on the app. Voucher didn't arrive. We had to chase it up 3 times.

Went to use the voucher to get the error that it has already been used. Tried to question it, the customer service rep left the chat. Tried again and we're told that we had used the voucher. Asked them to check the order log as we hadn't. Pretty much being called a liar and refusing to give a refund for their error.

We were sent to the "resolutions team" apparently who will be in contact within 24 hours. Never heard from them.

The two customer service reps Jobert & Leanne were completely unprofessional, rude and couldn't care less about their customers.

Just the worst

Two terrible customer service for consecutive nights I ordered menu log the first was McDonald's where they left off two items there was no way to contact menu log when I finally got through to McDonald's they said there was nothing they could do other than give me a tab next time I came into the restaurant I explained I never enter their restaurant... I managed to send an email to menu log they've sent me back cut-and-paste replies which are ridiculous asking for things like order numbers when I've actually given them a screenshot of the whole order including the order number and they tell methyl are going to look into it with the restaurant as if some kid behind the counter at McDonald's is gonna know whether the kid out the back who threw in those items into my order is going to be able to remember from the thousands of orders he took but he actually forgot to put in two items. Just take the word of the customer why would they bother to go to this trouble to complain about two items unless it was the truth, completely ridiculous... Then I ordered a meal from a restaurant where they had Ben & Jerry's ice cream desert I ordered an ice cream from their menu on menulog they called me half an hour later and said they did not have any flavours other than the disgusting cookie dough and brownie dough's which I really dislike that ended up having delivered as I knew I was not gonna get my money back off menulog after the day before debacle... use another SERVICE I'm cancelling the menulog now

RUDE DELIVERY DRIVERS!

If I order take out food, I will use Menulog & I ALWAYS add a note for delivery driver to Ring door bell so I know my food has arrived & I ask them to lock the gate behind them... Nothard really considering they open the gate to get in! Most delivery drivers DO NOT ring the door bell or shut the gate when they leave. 100% of the time my food is left on the ground at my front door, twice the crows have eaten it & you don't get a refund from the food place or Menulog, but the driver still gets your delivery fee. I have had drivers now asking me for EXTRA CASH because they have rung the door bell &/or shut the gate behind them! Menulog drivers are the ABSOLUTE WORST, RUDEST & DIRTIEST DELIVERY DRIVERS in Geelong! I WILL NOT use MENULOG again for delivery! It's not hard to let people know their food has been delivered! If they ask for EXTRA CASH, you don't have a way to report them as when you call Menulog or Deliveroo to complain, you get asked the NAME of your delivery driver! You don't get any refund or apologies either. These drivers need to be taught SOME REAL MANNERS In CUSTOMER SERVICE or don't be a delivery driver! Twice, I have not realised my food was delivered until almost an hour later, when I went outside to check for it, as the site didn't give any delivery updates!
PATHETIC!

Have never had any issues, just lots of delicious food... After 8x or so you get a free meal. I hate to admit how many free meals we've gotten...
