Not bad at all
March 29, 2018

I really enjoy these hearing aids. I was glad to find such an affordable style since the VA won't help me. They say the batteries last 4-8 days, but you can extend that a little longer by taking the battery out every night when you're done using them. It may be tedious, but worth it.

These hearing aides work just fine. No they are not the same as the $5000 ones. I am only allowed to replace my hearing aides every 3 years under my insurance. I either lose or break them probably more often then most. So that being said these are absolutely perfect for me.

The MD Air hearing aids work great; I have reduced the volume on the TV by 40%. I am still trying to get rid of the occasional squeal. I worked in construction all my life and have tinnitus real bad... when I wear my hearing aids the hissing sound fades into the background, this is an unexpected benefit. One thing that I have trouble with is the stabilizer "twigs", they do not mold to the ear very well and keep popping out. These hearing aids are close to invisible. A very good value for the money.

Best of the bunch
February 9, 2022

Wife and I tried hearing aids from $2500 ea to $500 ea. Then we found MD online and ordered the Volt+ for $600 ea. Work as good, if not better, than $2500 ones. We had question on fit and charging. Called twice, got knowledgeable agents (they're all in USA) who listened, and answered to our complete satisfaction. Wow, great hearing, great customer service and great prices. 5 star all the way!

If I manually raise the volume on the hearing aids that seems to change the sound some. If I use the Bluetooth app, no matter what I adjust, there is absolutely NO difference in the sound--the volume certainly does not work. It is shows connected on my phone but nothing. There also things missing in my kit when I got it two days ago, which makes me think these were returned--sloppy. I am not at all convinced these are working properly, Disappointing.

Thay work better than the $1000 ones. Sound is clearer then previous models. They are little too thick, they make my ear sore on top with the pressure from the tube. The batteries last a surprisingly long time.

I purchased only the right ear hearing aid for 199.90. I works good enough for me to hear the TV on a normal sound level so my daughter and son-in-live I am living with don't have to turn their TV up several levels for me to hear. I am satisfied with the product for the price.

The right ear aid was missing. My second notification triggered investigation and overnight mailing of missing aid. Ive been increasing wear time to determine benefit. Jack F.

I am testing them out. I tried level 4 when talking with friends sitting around a table at the mall. Seemed to help. Thought about cleaning it but was afraid to detach the tubing base by rotating it, but it seemed really tight and I was afraid of breaking it. Need more testing time. The left earpiece fits well but the right one is a little too big for my ear opening.

Struggled with conversations in group settings for years. Multiple hearing test confirmed my mid to high decibel loss but getting kid's raised & married just didn't leave enough to afford the high cost of hearing aides. I kept trying to get the VA to help, always a run around. Finally a fellow retired Railroad Buddy told me about MD Hearing Aides, He & I are so glad your in business.

No response on shipping

Sept 1,2023, ordered MDHearing tubes for Volt+ hearing aid. Several ( 3) E-mail inquiries to MDHearing referred to USPS tracking number which always, when contacted showed information received but no item. However, after every E-mail contact MDHearing right away asked per E-mail how good their service was!
Called Customer Service *******914 twice, after lengthily prologue how good MDHearing works for its customers voice claims no agent available at this time call back later! Will wait until Sept 15,3 weeks after ordering, and will stop payment to MDHearing. They deserve a 1 (one) STAR-MINUS.

Not what you're looking for
August 8, 2022

Tried these out for two weeks. Paid $300 for the pair. Not worth even one third of that amount. Sound is tinny and squeals in your ear that will take away what remaining hearing you have if you're not careful. Tried multiple adjustments volume, programs, nothing helped. Watching TV? Forget it! Complete waste of time and money. And now that I want an RMA to return, I spent 20 minutes on hold to ask for one only to be told no agent is available and to call back later and hung up on by the automated system. I bought these without talking to an agent. Why do I need to talk to an agent to return them? Ridiculously, they warn you multiple times that if you return without an RMA they promise to deduct a 20% restock fee from your refund. A total SCAM. Think twice before you buy--these are nothing but earbuds made to look like hearing aids. My $180 Airpods Pro do a much better job for me. These people claim they want to help you hear better, but make you get on the phone to prove otherwise. It's simple. I want an RMA. These don't work for me, and nothing any MD telephone agent says or does is gonna change my mind. So whats the point of this dance? I'm pretty sure someone from MD will comment here with some empty apology and ask me to call again to waste more precious time. You're fooling no one MD.

The MD hearing aids are as good as expensive hearing aids or better and this is why. Every time our elderly mother needs to adjust her $2,000 hearing aid, she has to go to the hearing doctor to get it adjusted, both the volume and programs. The MD hearing aid has both adjustments for the user to adjust themselves as needed. And after trying our mother's hearing aid, the quality of the MD is just as good. Glad I tried the MDs before shelling out $2,000 or more.

Very happy so far
March 18, 2018

This is a back up hearing aid for my Right ear as I have a Cochlear implant in my Left ear. My Hybrid hearing aid that works with my Cochlear implant is in for repairs. I love the Comfort Tip dome. I am using the open dome you sent, with the acoustic part of my Cochlear. They fit very good. Will be ordering more of your Comfort Tip domes. Have less problems with ear wax with your domes.

Not as loud as the sound amp I was using, and converting them to the high output tubing is confusing as how much to cut off, I don't want to ruin them.

The base model works okay but I am upgrading the Pro model. Called customer support and they issued the return authorization the day I called. Once they receive the return and credit my credit card I will order the Pro and give Mdhearingaid the high 5 rating.

I don't like the ear pieces very well, I wish they were round, for a better fit in the ear. These that come with the set keep working out, the stabeliser or what ever you call it is worthless. You get what you pay for.

However, this time the tubing was not as good as before. It was in pieces, and I had a hard time with the tail that is supposed to keep the piece in place. It was not molded corectly. Also had a hard time correctly fitting the ear pieces in, and have a mild ear infection. What happened? Can someone let me know?
