SUBJECT: Blown in insulation.

Mass save is the worst!
They came in destroyed my daughters place, it is uninhabitable.
Toxic lead paint and insulation dust everywhere. They never covered anything up.

Every little f****** thing in your home covered with white dust afterwards like literally every. Lil. FN. Thing!?! This is bull! I got home at 6:00 and have been cleaning I am still cleaning and it is almost 9:00. I have been on my feet all day at my full time job. I am a very clean person and this is a disgrace. That anyone would leave it like this. My poor cat and birds. And curtains and bedding and carpets and dishes and window sills and makeup, toothbrush, shower, etc. I mean everything is covered. Everywhere I walk is f****** pieces of plaster everywhere. There are chunks of plaster and this paper insulation all up and down the stairs to my place too. Wet plaster on carpets and such. And look at my f****** walls they look terrible.

They sold me a Litheli electric lawnmower, one of the battery was not charging within a year. Multiple phone calls were made, but no follow-ups.

The rebate process is a continuing saga. I just got off the phone with them (and it's difficult to even find a number) for the second time in 3 weeks when the substantial $10,000 rebate check never arrived FOR THE SECOND TIME. We submitted the rebate way back in Nov of 2023 and 5 months later still no check.

First check never arrived. Called to find out where it was and they apparently sent to wrong address. Had them cancel that check and issue new one to corrected address. Note that the rebate portal actually shows the first check as being cashed but they said that's 'inaccurate'. Makes you wonder why the status is wrong and who may have cashed it. I know this program is riddled with problems and utilities sitting on billions of dollars of customer money (most people, including MassSave reps naively call it free but you pay approx 4 cents per kw hr on your utility bill).

When the second check didn't arrive i called again. Surprise, surprise they have no record of the previous tel conversation. Now they've promised to 'expedite' the new check, but that was same promise made by prior rep. Supposedly they will issue on Monday and receive a week thereafter. Again, the same promise by previous rep.

Either the program is corrupt or poorly managed, perhaps both.
Not sure switching to heat pump worthwhile. Bill for Dec was $365 with heat set on 50 deg for a 1400 sq ft house. The pumps consume a lot of electricity. A contractor came to same conclusion as I, reporting a bill of $900 for Jan 2023 for a 1700 sq ft home. Note that the rather short sighted plans of eliminating fossil fuels, and rejecting nuclear while also increasing strain on electric grid for the ridiculous EV targets (80 kw hrs to fully charge a discharged vehicle) will require upgrade of grid infrastructure, which means electric rates will increase, perhaps skyrocket. But I can only fault myself for falling for the hype without researching heat pump costs. The installation cost was also $28k before the rebate. Upgrading the existing natural gas heat would have been more cost effective. But gov continuing that war on gas, while lining their pockets from the lobbyists no doubt.
