I signed up a few years ago, suspicious I used a different name. I posted in the Portland area, so got several quick responses. Yes, they homosexual community uses it, obvious. But, there are regular people also, and I did manage a few connections, all of them OK to a couple of them excellent. There is nudity, of course, and sensual touch, of course, no different than meeting someone anywhere and becoming friends. It's worth the effort, just be honest about what you are looking for.
I have been there for over a year. Not that easy to find a compatible person. There are many members listed that have not been there in ages. You MUST buy tokens or membership to be able to reply or send messages. Many members cannot host, that eliminates many potential partners. I rarely got replies to emails I sent. At best 5%. On the bright side its 1000% better than free rub. Free rub is a total waste of time and money
I have answered 10 messages and had 2 replies Both said I was out of there age range. The others have not replied.
Just by reading the massageexchange representatives responses to individuals' reviews makes me skeptical of the site. The responses from the reps seem to be more of a wise-$#*! retort, rather than a professional customer-service oriented, professional reply. Hmmm. A bit worrisome.
Have been a paying Gold member for 3yrs now. I enjoy because it connects me w/ like-minded MT's in my area... If you just go w/ any body for an exchange, however, it is REALLY a crap-shoot as to what yer gonna get, more often than not it'll NOT be a good experience. Being fully trained & licensed, here, I've learned to look@ the "Experience" section of profiles & whether or not someone has attended school or rcv'd training. Those folk are more bankable to a good experience!
Its ok, but not enough women or qualified therapists using the site and certainly not enough local to me
I have had some good massage exchanges here but some have been a bust. Not many guys in my area who are interested in exchanging and/or in whom I am interested in massaging.
MassageExchange.com is a community of bodyworkers, bodywork students, and massage enthusiasts to network, practice, explore new bodywork modalities, and exchange massage and other bodyworks for free. Now with nearly 200,000 members and growing rapidly.
When I first started my massage practice, I'd exchange massages with my fellow classmates frequently. Slowly, however, my massage friends either moved away or left the trade. Sadly, this massage giver was receiving fewer and fewer massages himself.
One day, with a particularly bad back ache, I realized that I had no-one to trade with. Unfortunately, trying to network with others in order to find trading partners proved difficult, time consuming, often even embarrassing, and ultimately unsuccessful.
An idea was born — Why not a massage networking site for those looking for massage exchange partners?
Our company has never created fake account and we never will. We also have a rigourous fake account detection. Non-replies can mean: (1) They have read your profile and there is no interest, (2) They don't like your photo, (3) You have no photo, (4) You're too far away to be practical, etc.
