I found this company through GoodRX; they're one of the pharmacies advertised on the GoodRX site. Unlike the many other pharmacies that offered the drug I needed (e.g. Walmart, CVS, etc), MailMyPrescriptions didn't use a bait-and-switch tactic. That is, the other pharmacies offered great advertised prices, but after a few months, they no longer honored those prices. It wouldn't be so bad if the costs went up by a small percentage, but they always increased by several factors, forcing me to shop around for another place. I've been using MailMyPrescriptions for just under a year now and the prices for the prescription I need has not gone up.
Answer: Price of the prescription. Most major pharmacies charge over $1000 for a 30 day supply and even my health insurance's co-pay is $100. I can get it here for even less the co-pay. They also haven't raised the price of this prescription for as long as I've used them, which is just under a year. I can't say the same for other pharmacies: they pull you in with attractive prices, then raise them to what they apparently normally charge after 1-2 months. It's total bait-and-switch.
