The absolute worst!
September 27, 2023

I am trying to test their service and have configured my domains and added specific sender address which are all verified. However everything I send an email out I get an email saying the following: We are contacting you as you (or one of your team members) tried to send an email with sender address: *******@postmaster.leadgurus.org. But this sender address has not been validated yet on your account: 8b9f15c1c24c4633ecbbb*******e4b.

You would think that this would be an easy fix. However I can't reach a human to help. Their ai chatbot is the worst. I had a useless 30 minute conversation with the bot who gave me the option to create a support ticket. When click on create ticket it took me back to the knowledgebase and started a fresh chat session. AAAARRRRGGGHHHHH!

Unethical company - Get away
September 1, 2023

We recently opened an account, but it was unexpectedly terminated shortly after completing the registration process. The stated reason was our company's alleged non-compliance with their terms and conditions, aimed at user protection. However, when we requested specific details about the alleged breaches, they were unable to provide any concrete information. They did not clarify how our company posed a threat to their users or cite any specific violations. This experience has led us to question Mailjet's ethical standards and their practice of terminating accounts without clear justification. It's possible that Mailjet's behavior and approach may actually pose a threat to users due to their arbitrary account termination practices.

Hello Studio,

Thank you for contacting Mailjet Support.

We regret to inform you that your account activation request has been declined by our Compliance team after a thorough review of your account information. This decision has been made in accordance with our Acceptable Use Policy and/or Terms of Service, which are in place to ensure the safety and security of our users.

For security reasons, we are unable to provide specific details regarding the decision-making process. However, please be assured that we have a rigorous system in place to review account information and identify potential risks.

After a careful manual review by our Compliance Team, the decision to refuse activation of your account stands.

Please refer to our Sending Policy and Terms of Service documents, which outline our policies in detail:

Terms of Service: https://www.mailjet.com/terms-and-conditions
Acceptable Use Policy: https://www.mailjet.com/sending-policy

If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us again.

Dear Plamena,

Thanks for your response.

While we don't need information about the decision making progress, we would like to know the specific reasons. Using '
Acceptable Use Policy and/or Terms of Service' without indicating which exact part in our account is against these terms, seems to be to broad and arbitrary.

We are happy to address any concerns; yet, we need to know the specifics which, according to the team, break the terms and conditions.

Rgs,

Hello Studio,

Thank you for contacting Mailjet Support.

Please understand that the decision to refuse activation of your account was made after a careful manual review by our Compliance Team, in accordance with our established policies and procedures. While we understand that you may have concerns about this decision, we must prioritize the safety and security of our users and adhere to our policies.

Thank you for your understanding.

Regards,

Dear Petra,

While we understand the importance of user protection, we find it puzzling that Studio Iniit is deemed a threat without a clear explanation. If our case underwent manual review, there should be identifiable reasons for the account suspension.

Unfortunately, your communication has not included all pertinent details, leading us to question the validity of arbitrary conclusions – a concern echoed in numerous reviews we've encountered. This situation resembles receiving a ticket without any justification – a scenario that hardly seems reasonable or justifiable.

Upon thorough examination by our Compliance and Legal team, your responses and terms have been labeled as unethical and discriminatory. Consequently, we are compelled to consider reporting this incident and sharing our correspondence to highlight our experience with your practices.

In the interest of clarity and transparency, we eagerly await a comprehensive account of the grounds for account suspension and a precise explanation of how our operations breach your terms and threaten your users. Should you be unwilling to provide such information, we kindly request that a superior representative engage with us or desist from further consuming our time with vague responses.

Dodgy policies, be aware and stay clear
March 7, 2017

Been online since 1999 selling Tshirts and hats. Been using MJ for a about 1.5 years now, been happy with the pricing and service ( templates are kinda crap) but all in all ok. I actually recommend them all the time.

Then 2 weeks ago i get an email that my account has been closed. Two weeks before that i sent out an email camp for a new hat we got ( i send out maybe once a month btw) in stock, mailed it and that was it, then this happens.

I have NO idea what the problem is/was and asked and this is how its gone so far
-------
Mailjet - "Unfortunately, your sending and activities on Mailjet seems to have triggered some of our security filters. We found many sign up activities from your domains.

Our Compliance team has reviewed your account and decided that we won't be able to provide you any service. The Team has the right to reserve what they have found.

I'm so sorry to advise that your account can not be activated."

--My reply --
John- "HI there, i am still not clear on exactly what the problem is, your answer is extremely vague.

I've been a customer for years and recommend your company to everyone i know. I have a t shirt and hat website and promote new products to my list that I've been collecting since 1999 when the site opened.

I clean my list before every mailing to remove invalid emails and complainers, so unless you have a problem with military hats ( my last campaign) i have NO IDEA what the issue is.

So I'd like a definite answer as to what the problem is.

Also:
You are saying "Unfortunately, your sending and activities on Mailjet seems to have triggered some of our security filters.
- what security filters, what do you mean?
- "seems to have" so your not sure either?

"We found many sign up activities from your domains."
- again what does this mean exactly, please clarify?

"Our Compliance team has reviewed your account and decided that we won't be able to provide you any service. The Team has the right to reserve what they have found."
- WHAT DID YOU FIND which is a problem?

I still have no idea whats happening here, please explain in laymen terms so its clear. "

---- their latest reply to explain the reason for canceling the account ---
Mailjet - "I tried to contact the Team and they confirmed that based on some general risks that our system detected, we are so sorry to advise that we can not provide any service for your sending.

We are obligated to follow specific procedures and we can not reveal all internal information.

The team do have a right to reserve what they found though I tried my best to get all information.:(

I'm so sorry that your account is closed.
Best
Terri"

-------

I emailed again just now asking to at least send my list I've accumulated since 1999 so i can move on.

No REASON given as to why they closed the account.
This is just unacceptable, complete bull$#*! IMO, if your going to cancel an account explain way, if i knew i did something wrong, then i wouldn't do it.

Just be aware that they will not give me access to my list or campaigns, complete waste of my time here and now loosing money and no idea why?
