Deceptive Return Policy
April 5, 2020

Lose the Back Pain promotes a 90-day return policy but read the fine print. If you are on a monthly order program you effectively cannot return product after the
First 60 days. This is because their 90-day clock starts the day you order the product. By the time you get your first bottle, usually 3-4 weeks later, you have already lost 30 days. By the time you get your 3rd monthly order you cannot return product according to their policy because its outside the 90 days from the original order, not from the date that product was paid for and sent to you - very deceptive. I've been ordering product from Lose the Back Pain for years but I won't order from this company again. A credible company would either make their return policy clear in its advertising, or offer a straightforward uncomplicated return policy. Forewarned is forearmed. BTW, my orthopedist says that most joint supplements that promote glucosamine chondroitin are ineffective, so you're wasting your money on products like Super Joint Support.

My response to Director Steve:
I am replying to your response to me on Site Jabber. First of all, I ordered Heal N Soothe in mid-August. I paid for a bottle of Super Joint Support in mid-October and received it sometime after that. If you are holding me to a mid-August order date which starts your 90-day return policy clock, I have less than 30 days to try the product and return it to you in order to qualify for a refund. Your policy is deceptive because you advertise 90 days, and I assume I have 90 days from the date I pay for the product, until l attempt to return the product and then you hold be to a bogus order date as the start of your 90 day policy; then cite the small print in your complex and deceptive return policy. If you really wanted to give me a legitimate 90 days, you would allow me 90 days from the time I started using the product, or minimally from the time I paid for it, or from the time it left your facility. My point is - you don't have a realistic 90-day return policy. To answer your question: why did I wait so long? Well, I didn't wait 8 months because I didn't receive my first bottle until late October to early November. If it took 30 days for me to determine any real results, that puts me into late November to early December, which is now outside your policy refund window. So then I asked for a refund for the bottles that were shipped in mid-January, mid- February, and mid-March, and then was told by your customer service people that even those bottles did not qualify for a refund because they were outside the refund window, which you base on the initial order date, not the actual date that it was shipped. Can't you understand how unreasonable and deceptive your refund policy is? To qualify for any refund, I would have had to return the first bottle the day I received it. And there was no refund available for any product ordered after that initial order date. Any reasonable policy would give me 90 days from the date the product was shipped, or more fairly, the date I received the product. If you feel confident about your products, then give the customer a legitimate 90-day return policy. That's how you keep customers, because right now I feel cheated by you.

My second response to Director Steve:
I'm not going to spend any more time on this. It's obvious you are trying to defend your policy in the press and not concerned with getting me a refund for product that was purchased in January, February, and March - within the past 90 days. I don't understand why you won't refund product purchased within the last 90 days. You don't seem to understand or acknowledge that there is no return policy after the initial purchase. I'm done with Lose the Back Pain and will turn my business elsewhere, purchasing supplements from honest and responsible businesses.

Chronic thieves
February 25, 2020

Hey jesse cannone, are you a real person or some scam artist who has no moral fibre & sits back without any conscience stealing money from poor innocent people suffering & searching for an honest deal.
Your website is intentionally confusing... is that for the purpose of throwing people off so you can take their money before they actually discover your business is definitely a scam.
Immediately after I provided my bank details I realised from reading reviews that this was a scam & I sent an email advising I did not want your product. I did not get a response so I sent more emails & still no response. That only reinforced my belief that you & your company are DODGY mr jesse cannone.
WTH you went ahead & sent the free bottle when I distinctly advised you I am not interested. So again I sent further emails to you, angry that you had done so without my authority. Again you did not respond. I followed the instructions on your livingwell neutraceuticals letter with your photo mr jesse cannone (looks like the image of a conniving swindler who would steal from vulnerable honest poor old ladies & gentlemen who are suffering & you add to that by ripping them off). The paragraph above your photo states
We are here to support you on your healing journey. If you ever have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. You may contact us via phone, email, or postal mail.
Well I did email you several times indicating 'I AM NOT INTERESTED IN YOUR PRODUCTS'. I got no response...& lo & behold you have fraudulently accessed my bank account without authority & taken my money & allowed your warehouse minions to forward an order for tablets I don't want.
I am based in a remote part of Australia & our time clocks are practically opposite each other so its inconvenient to have to call america but since you have stolen money from my bank account & have neglected to respond to my email I rang this number *******977. An erica answered & said cancellations can only been done by phone not email... HULLO... if thats the case why didn't 1 of your minions or you jesse respond to my emails with those details. There is no where on the letter with your face on it that specifies I have to cancel the order by phone. Erica (initially I thought was one of those robot recordings) kept saying sorry maam... which sounded condescending & suspicious to say the least... also we don't call women maam in this country jesse. I requested to speak with someone in a management level. She said someone of that capacity would call me within 24-48hrs. I gave her my mobile phone number as she alluded to having no record, yet... here it is clear as god made little green apples... on the order form you jesse or your warehouse minions sent with the FREE tablets which I threw in the rubbish. Hey jesse I rang on saturday. Its been more than 24-48hrs & I still haven't received the phone call erica said I would from your? Manager.
I am thinking none of you actually exist... erica was a robot recording... the scammers that you are don't understand basic english hence why you didn't respond to my emails... you don't know how to count hence why its gone past 48hrs & I haven't received my call back as the robot advised. Or are you a bunch of blatant lying thieves as I expect.
By the way I have lodged a fraud claim with my bank. Expect your product to be returned & return my money you stole from my account.

I am with a few other people. I never authorized a subsequent shipment. I originally tried it. They never say in large writing that they will continue to charge you $49 on subsequent shipments even prior to the completion of the first of two bottles originally received. The reorder provision is tucked away in mini print and they say if you don't call, you will get another order charged to your account. By the way the product had no results for me. I did notify them by e-mail the product didn't work and would not take it anymore and they still sent me another order. Do not deal with these people as they are ripping you off. Now in get a refund on the unsolicited order, I must ship it back at my expense and time. Now I have to package the bottle, return it - stand in a long Post Office line and pay for the return. I already have a very bad back - STAND IN LINE? These people sure know how to stick it to you. I hope you read this before making a similar mistake. 1 review

I went to their website and one of the inversion tables...
June 14, 2012

I went to their website and one of the inversion tables (the Teeter Hangups EP950) was listed for $299, and when I got to checkout I was being charged $399. I double, and even triple checked the price listed on the site and found that I was being overcharged by $100 (there was a less expensive Teeter hangups EP550 that was supposed to be listed at this price I later found out, but it was error on their website). So I called customer service and they told me to send an e-mail with a screen shot picture and I do that, and they say that they didn't get the e-mail. So now they tell me to go fax them a copy of the page, and so I go to my local library and print off the webpage and pay $3.80 to fax them a copy of the webpage (that has now been pulled up on two different computers) AND THEN THEY SAY THEY DIDN"T GET THE FAX! Well mysteriously the fax didn't go to the office I sent it to, it magically was rec'd at the bigger office they indicated... Weird... So the next day I get a call and the rep, Diany, asked me for the URL- which was so long the last 6 characters were left off of the page along the bottom- and at the time I was away from home so the next morning I called back, as they requested of me, to read them off the URL and just as I pulled up the screen on my computer the Customer Service Rep I was speaking with, think her name was Gabby, tells me that the site does not exsist... and I guess now since my e-mail, my fax, and the website does not exsist they would not honor my bunch of lies about the "phony website"! I talked to three girls there at the *******908 # by the names of Diany, Heather and lastly Gabby and I am very bothered by the way they handled me, I am an honest person and I was made out to be a liar. BEWARE OF THIS SITE, CUSTOMER SERVICE DOES NOT WORK ON BEHALF OF THEIR CUSTOMERS, THEY HANDLE BUSINESS IN A WAY THAT ONLY BENEFITS THE COMPANY! Well if they don't change it here's the site- http://www.losethebackpain.com/back-pain-relief-products/inversion-tables/teeter-hangups-ep950

In Nov 2009 my mother died in the UK
October 28, 2010

In Nov 2009 my mother died in the UK. After arriving in the UK I had excruciating sciatica pain. It was only when I stood up but it took my breath away, but went away within a few strides. As I was in the UK I didn't have access to my Dr & so took NSAIDs, did internet research, checking out NIH guidelines, & NICE guidelines, the UKs version. Essentially I found that research only seems to prove short bed rest, NSAIDs & physio. In the UK I made sure I went for a walk everyday as that seemed to help. But sitting, driving, & even lying was very painful. The pain on standing was unbelievable. On the 1st day I returned to the USA ( 4 weeks later) I saw my Dr who gave me some stronger meds, & agreed to try steroids. A week later I was back in his office as the pain all down my right leg was now getting worse. Sitting for more than 10mins at all was agony - a real problem as Im a transport nurse & would often be in an ambulance 10 hours a day!

I thought my career was over. My back never hurt, just my leg & hip. At its worst I would also have burning aching pain in my right calf & half the foot. Through my research I knew it was sciatica & suspected I had piriformis muscle syndrome. I had now had this 7 weeks & it was still getting worse, no better. I was taking round the clock ibuprofen & Tylenol just to survive. At 41 I felt like an old man. My Dr reluctantly agreed to do an MRI which showed I had 2 bulging discs, but I wasn't convinced that's what was causing the pain. By now I had read everything on the LTBP website but was very skeptical. But I also knew that per NIH if the pain isn't gone after 6 weeks (which it has 92% of the time) it won't go away. There was overwhelming amount of information & advice. My Dr essentially told me I would have to learn to live with it & it would probably never totally go away! I told him I would shoot myself if I had to live with this the rest of my life & I sincerely meant it. He agreed to send me to physio. I was now in so much pain that standing up sometimes I couldn't walk for 30 secs & then it was very difficult & would take a couple of minutes to subside. I was also walking with a limp. Physio only made it WORSE! In fact, some aspects were better. The nature of the pain changed - it was no longer agony to stand, & so it appeared to others that I was better. But any prolonged sitting or standing would cause the pain, especially in the calf to get very intense. I would often wake up in agony that wouldn't subside until I was up & about & had taken pain meds. I started a pain log via Excel to see what helped & what didn't.

After the physio wasn't helping everyone was getting frustrated & me very angry. I eventually saw a pain specialist & got 2 epidural shots. They helped a little, but after the 2nd one I told the Dr that I wanted to try my own physio based on the LTBP system that I had just bought out of sheer desperation. Every time I had a shot I had to not exercise for 2 weeks. By now I had taken the self assessment, & listened to all the recordings. I was initially very skeptical, but the LTBP stuff MADE SENSE. The 1st time I tried some of the exercises I noticed an apparent relief of pain. I thought it was just psychosomatic & that I was imagining it. But by 3 days there was no doubt that 1 particular stretch really seemed to help a little. After discussing it with the pain Dr, the only thing she could offer was surgery! NIH studies clearly show that people are usually no better off & often worse. I was becoming convinced by the LTBP information. My self assessment pics were amazing. When my wife took the pics she kept telling me to stand up straight! One of the things that prevented me from buying LTBP, was reading a rival site about how ridiculous it was to self assess & self diagnose. But eventually, in desperation I bought it & thought no one else will assess me or know me like me. The self assessment information was straightforward & so very quickly I came up with a plan of exercises. In fact, no one else really did do a thorough physical assessment!

By now it was March & I had suffered for 4 long months. During that time the pain altered, but was intense throughout. I couldn't get through a day without ibuprofen & often combined with Tylenol which I knew was bad. During the 1st 3 weeks of March as I started the exercises my pain score which was a total for the day was an average of 20. I took it 4 times a day out of 10. My highest score for a day was 40! 30-35 was not unusual. I started the exercises, very carefully & cautiously. But using the pain score I could tell for sure they were helping. In fact, within 3 weeks my pain score was down to an average of 7. At this point I also went back to physio after a 3 week break due to a shot & not be able to get scheduled. My physio was amazed at the progress I had made & I shared with her what I learned. Indeed some of the exercises we were doing were the exact OPPOSITE of what I needed - no wonder physio made things worse. I had learned from LTBP that some of the standard sciatica exercises were the wrong ones & worsens imbalances. She agreed & couldn't argue that after 4 months with her I now had far more progress in the 3 weeks without her! She took the details of LTBP! Another month & my pain was considerably declined. I forgot to mention, I did also combine this with the Healt & Soothe pills - I was very skeptical of that also. By May my pain was all but gone & I stopped doing the pain score!

Dealing with this sciatica pain was the most life changing, & painful thing I have been through. I was heartbroken believing I would never be able to play with my young children. Through all the teaching from Steve & Jesse through the LTBP system, I am fully restored, & eternally grateful!

At 1st I was put off my all the selling, but I came to realize after getting personal responses from Steve & Jesse, that these guys are offering multiple solutions, as the are genuinely trying to help. I initially thought the product was expensive, but compared to medical copays, it was cheap!
