Iready sucks and if you like it you are insane.
I don't car if I don't get "lessons that are right for me"
This is for all the teachers and you shouldn't buy it because it is bad and not helpful. Like it doesn't explain anything
It sucks because IT REPEATS WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO. IF YOU GET 0% ON A LESSON IT SAYS ITS OK, WELL IT IS NOT OK. If you guys hate iready, well your not alone.
"write a common factor greater than 1 between 3 and 18"
1.5 * 2 = 3
1.5 * 12 = 18
Why is it wrong?
A
Pros:
- There are 10 themes, allowing you to customize your background, however this is a minor feature.
- There are 'Learning Games' that you can play that include math, however there is only a little bit of math involved with the games.
- There are six 'reward games' that you need coins to play, coins which can be earned by doing lessons. Each game costs 50 coins to play, lessons give you 20 coins, and lessons take at least 5 times the time spent playing one game, so it's quite unbalanced.
Cons:
- The reading diagnostic, which ends at anywhere from 70 to 92%. The progress bar may go up by 0 - 30% whenever you answer a singular question.
- The videos are very low quality, so much so that it looks like a Windows Movie Maker slideshow. It probably is.
- The characters are very low quality, and they just rely on you for everything. Now, I know it should be that way, since you have to do the problems yourself to learn the topics, but it just gets so repetitive.
- I-Ready leaves out important information in their questions, leading to confusing questions that kids may find especially difficult to answer, or even make sense of.
- I-Ready repeats topics over and over again, and it gets boring fast.
- I-Ready makes each lesson have way too many questions, making it get very repetitive, and very difficult for the people who found the topic challenging.
- Each game is fun and addicting, but none of them really teach math well.
If teachers want students to have a good time when learning, then they should try out the app or at least put themselves in the students' shoes, something that they specifically teach us to do, yet also something they don't do. It just doesn't work out; the students don't like it, the parents love it because it's like free school, but the kids' opinions don't get a say in the matter.
I had to suffer this at a young age it is so f****** stupid! I hate this thing so much I would remove it from public!
What I said up there. It's just so bad it's torture. I used it to see what my students were getting it's horrible.
It makes you do it 2 times if you fail it and 75 is apparently failing which takes an hour
Do not download
I-ready is just pure stupid. I mean seriously, I am in 4th grade and guess what? I got a problem that said what is 1+2? This is stupid!
I am a 6 grade student, and I think I-ready is informal, but it is not as fun and inclusive as I would like it to be. Please make I-ready more fun
To be, To inhale and To wend without a wight. Of the ternary exordium which part is synonymous to succumbing to IReady? If thy conjecture was the third ane, thou art just. Howbeit, the elder overlook this, datum, fueling anguish amidst bairns. IReady yclept that sith "it wends halflings yare for their academy". Hence, I-Ready, allbeit it fails immensely. IReady is naught but a futile time waste. In lexicon it is too facile (not to twine), In reading sapience it generates insipid gests. In arithmetics it wends over extensive and covers aught in thy ken. And the diagnostic is awfy foul. My lexicon is vast but no word can elucidate the plenary agony begeted by the diagnostic. Lecturers keep afar agone the armageddon of the cosmos.
In words you can understand:
To exist, To breathe and To become soulless. Of the three words I just said which part is the same to falling to IReady? If your guess was the third one, you are correct. But, parents overlook this, fact, creating pain in children. IReady is called IReady because "it makes kids ready for school". Thats why it is called, I-Ready, but it fails greatly. IReady is nothing but a pointless time waste. In vocabulary it is too easy (not complaining), In reading comprehension it makes boring stories. In math it too long and covers things you already know. And the diagnostic is foul. My vocabulary is big but no word can describe the absolute agony created by the diagnostic. Teachers keep away until the the end of the universe!
Of agone shall IReady wend!
Or in words you can understand:
Begone IReady!
I feel like your animations look a little bad. Okay a lot bad but that doesn't mean your education way is bad so please change your animations
Every time when i get things right and it say im not right and then show the right even know i pick the same thing over and over
It sucks its tiring and boring and it wastes your time and your life why would you be doing this instead of spending time with your family.
Answer: It's designed extremely poorly. So, therefore it makes it miserable to do. It also doesn't help that the school systems don't give a shit as long as the TEST SCORES are high so they can get GOVERNMENT FUNDING.
Answer: Sweetheart, you might want to sit down for this one. It's because they want you to suffer an plethora of hours just for you hear an irrelevant explanation that you knows it's blindingly transparent and gratuitous to make pontifications.
Answer: Because its so goofy agh and boring as heck itself
Answer: I DO NOT THINK YOU ARE A DUMBASS SORRY ABOUT THAT JUST RELOAD THE WEBSITE BEFORE ITS DONE SPEAKING
